He said they were perfectionists, professional, and I would LOVE them, as he knows my standards. I'm very detail-oriented and observant of any kind of flaws. I was leery, but decided to give them a shot. I mean, why not? After our experiences with the other two places we had nowhere to go, but up. My first visit was to the showroom in Pflugerville and as I walked through the door I was greeted by Lou who was extremely helpful. She answered all my questions and invited me to visit their slab yard in Elgin. Two days later a friend and I went to Elgin to the slab yard where we were greeted by Oscar Sustaita, owner of STA Granite. He allowed us to browse the slabs and we had a great time. Finally, I chose my quartz pieces and Oscar came to my house two days later to measure. He said it would take two weeks to fabricate and then they could install. All went according to plan. Exactly two weeks later I was told I could choose a date for installation. My counters were installed last Friday by Angel, Enrique, and Antonio. They were respectful, kind, professional, and worked long and hard!!! They knew what they were doing and I felt comfortable letting them do their thing with minimal supervision from me. They cleaned up after themselves impeccably, but there wasn't much to clean up; very minimal dust! They polished my quartz and sinks and left. I could not be happier with my new tops! I HIGHLY recommend STA Granite.

This is a brand new store providing cabinets, tiles, and more for individuals or builders. It's a…read moregood place to come get ideas for kitchen remodels! While I haven't taken advantage of their services myself, I got to explore the showroom and I appreciate the several built-out kitchens and cabinet displays spread out over three large rooms of their new 6,000 sq. ft. location. The many styles are great to see in person, and there are some amazing choices including glossy cabinets that open upwards like gull-wing doors on a car. And some of the tiles are incredibly realistic in their mimicry of expensive marble or other stone. Of course there are samples of real stone from brands like Cambria and there are displays of handles and pulls for every style. It's good to have options and this is a welcome addition to north Austin!

The project involved figuring out how to best fit in with the existing features of the room (high ceiling, big window, decorative columns, wrapping around corners etc). The design and final build quality was excellent -- and less than half the cost of the pre-made shelving design bids. I had thought that custom built-ins would be more expensive, and they were much cheaper! I'd use them again in a hot second. Per communications -- I had no problems -- keep in mind that they are a working shop and don't have full-time customer service people sitting by the phone all day long. The one other fyi is that they do the cabinetry, not the cabinet painting, so you need to arrange the painting as a second step. (Even with the cost of painting, my project is still thousands cheaper than the pre-made stuff that I had gotten a bid for.)

When building our house, we balked at the price quote our builder provided for our custom built cabinetry. So we decided to head out on our own and try to find better work AND a better price. The first guy we found gave us an identical quote and had no real samples to show us... sooo that was big no. We were beginning to wonder if we should just go with the one that our contractor had recommended. But we found distinctive wood crafts (by googling, i think) and their quote came in at about 70% of the initial number! Of course we thought they must be shoddy, right? WRONG! Their work is top notch. We visited the AIA Center for Architecture to see their work. Pretty darn close to perfection. We were sold, and happily so. Not only is the work precise, perfectly functional, and beautiful to look at, it is incredibly sturdy! My kitchen drawers glide effortlessly, even though they've held a couple of large cast iron dutch oven. Those pots are HEAVY!! Sonny did a great job installing, and made the return trip necessary to fine tune everything. He might come across as gruff at times, but who doesn't? He's a good man who's great at what he does. Nine months later, we are still as much in love with our cabinetry as we were the day we moved in. *if you do visit them at the shop, don't worry! it might be in a bit of a disarray, but this is no reflection on their professionalism, promptness, precision, or exquisite attention to detail.

Very pleased with their competitive pricing, DJ came back out to template our kitchen. Within a week, Luis and Pedro were out installing our new granite. They do excellent work and we were very pleased with the finished project. During installation, we encountered an unexpected issue that nobody could have anticipated, but the project manager, Moises, promptly addressed it, going above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the agreed upon solution. The installers were friendly and professional and looked after the details so the counter was clean and polished. Then they adhered a removable sheet of plastic over it so it would stay that way during the tile back splash install. My hat goes off to this team.
