Don't buy any appliance online with Installation. They are the worst. I have been waiting for the delivery and installation of a gas range. It was scheduled for today 8/22 and they never showed up. I called Customer Support, they tried calling the installers and they did not answer their calls. I called twice and in both cases the Installer did not answer their calls. The second customer representative hung up on me because I wanted to know if he was going to do something about it since we wasted our Saturday waiting for their call. ****The forthcoming review is for the interaction with management at this Lowe's location*** I came into this location several weeks ago for the sole purposes of securing materials for Thing One's Eagle Scout project. When we arrived at the location, we requested to speak with a manager. After a brief conversation with one manager, we were directed to two other managers' specifically the pro sales manager, Craig Cottier, and Brian Scott, the assistant manager of specialty sales. Both of these managers went over the Eagle Scout proposal in depth with Thing One so they could fully understand what he was trying to accomplish. After a lengthy discussion, we were advised by the managers that the store had already reached their donation cap for the year, but they would try to work with Thing One to get discounted materials for the project. While I could pay for the materials myself, for those who are not aware, there is a fundraising component of an Eagle Scout project with specific rules and regulations. Eagle candidates may ask for donations of materials or discounts on materials from companies or individuals. The candidate must furnish a list of prospective donors with their fundraising application, per national policy, for council approval before soliciting the material donations or discounts. Candidates may also hold fundraising events, such as car washes, meat stick sales, and the like, with an approved application. Many scouts do fundraising or ask for donations as it allows them to show their leadership, communication, and project management skills they've learned while in the BSA. Thing One was able to get 28 pieces of 2x8 Pressure Treated Pine for less than $35 (that's a savings of over $350). The Pine was of excellent quality. Because of the generosity of Lowes and Craig and Brian, Thing One was able to complete his Eagle Scout project successfully while living up to the Boy Scout Law of being thrifty. read more

NOT order a dishwasher from Lowes. They uses this horrible company that will never deliver it. In general CRST over books, then they 'say they came buy' and reschedule it for another few weeks out. This seems to be their normal practice. We ordered a dishwasher last week from Lowes in Cedar Park Texas. They scheduled a delivery over a week later with 'CRST home solutions'. They never texted and said they were coming. After they never showed up we called and they "said" they stopped by but if they really did, why didn't they ring the doorbell or txt our number for delivery? Why didn't they send out notice they were coming by? Why didn't we at least hear a truck drive by? No answer. Then they tried to re-scheduled for another 10 days out. Will never buy an appliance from Lowe's again. I've learned my lesson. CRST is a bad company. Lowes should maybe use some other company to do their delivery's. read more

Lowe's used to be my favorite big box store because I thought their customer service was excellent. Not any more apparently. I ordered a new blade for my mower in April. they just told me to check back in a few weeks but also they would email me when it came in and it was estimated 3-4 weeks. 4 weeks rolled around so I checked with customer service. No made in yet and it seemed a little difficult to find my order. I didn't want to be "that" person so I waited another 2 weeks before I even checked back. I was worried I would miss the email. I checked in about 4 more times and on the the 4th time they told me I should go to the shoal creek Lowe's and ask. I was confused. i ordered from the 35and parmer location. So I went to shoal creek and they said my blade came in but they couldn't find it now And I hadn't paid for it. It's August at this point so I'm getting a little hot. So they have lost my blade. I stay calm. It's only been 16 weeks and it's August so mowing is done for the summer anyway. so I think maybe they sent it to the Lowes I ordered from, that would make sense. I go back to that location the next day and A person says yes we got the blade in and it got sent back yesterday. I was livid! I checked my phone. There was a phone call that turned out to be Lowe's but they didn't leave a message and it was the day before. So I've waited over 16 weeks for a blade going from store to store asking ever so often.... And they have sent it back because I didn't answer one Random phone call and left no message. And I can't get my money back because I didn't pay. I had to go to both stores twice to finally get my money back. I wanted to rip somebody's eyeballs out! There wasnt just one person that gave bad service; it was about 10-12 people that gave bad service. Never in my life have I seems something so simple be so complicated. I bet I spent $50 on gas and 4 or 5 hours checking in this blade. And no one even said I'm sorry. I would think they should have offered me a gift card or something. And don't ever try to get cash back from the self checkout cuz if the register is out of cash no one knows what to do and it's about a 2 month wait to get ur $40 back. and they tell u to come get it but no one knows where it's at and treats u like ur trying to scam them. Went here to look for a freezer for our house and they like most were sold out. There are signs everywhere for everyone to wear masks and observe social distancing with one way in and one way out, they also have plastic sheets between the customers and the employees at the checkouts; however, I saw one employee only covering her nose and one without a mask. Overall it has a good variety of items for you to choose from and helpful staff if you need assistance. read more

This review is for the Garden section of this store only. Have to give credit where it's due, this section was fully stocked and had a good selection of both flowers and live herbs. Of special note is the recent addition of multi-plant planters. Their rectangular units hold 2 or 3 pairs of flowers or herbs at a decent price. The tag says the item was $24.98 and is on sale for $19.97. Not an incredible sale, if you ask me. And I don't believe it's clear that you can't return Clearance items. I purchased a refrigerator from Lowe's along with the protection plan. Needed a repair. Plan was still active yet trying to get a repair scheduled was beyond painful. Days of making contract to be told: you don't have a plan (yes I do and have a receipt), then my plan was cancelled (???), then finally got a person (versus a loop of limited help options) and a repair was scheduled. A few days later repair cancelled because the plan was cancelled. Started again. Was told repair would happen Saturday. Of course no one showed or called and it's the weekend so have to wait. Clearly this was a big waste of money and I will never use Lowe's again. And they blame it on the insurance plan yet they push you to buy it so they are also responsible. read more

Nice and convenient store. Store is clean all the time with helpful staff. Is often less busy than the nearby Home Depot that seems to always be packed with too many people. Main concern is the edge of the parking lot away from the store, closest to 620/SH45 appears to be consistently used as a homeless parking lot for people living in their vehicles. Last night I counted about a dozen cars that each had a person just sitting in them as it is easy to see inside them after the sun goes down. Lowes upper management needs to give this store a budget to hire private security for the parking lot to monitor and keep the lot cleared out, same as the adjacent Walmart does. Perhaps this is an unseen/unrealized factor in why this store is not as busy as the nearby Home Depot. I suspect this is a known gathering point for the homeless to go to every day and might be where a lot of the panhandlers in the area live when they are not on the street. I have noticed over the years this activity in this particular parking lot has gotten worse and a lot more noticeable. read more

The staff at the Lakeline Lowe's walked me through every step/material needed (first time painter here ‍). The garden center was also the largest I've seen at ANY hardware store. Two covered enclosures... one for plants and another for patio furniture. Plenty of healthy plants to choose from at great prices. I bought a 2' fiddleleaf fig tree for $20. Saw the same plant at a nursery for $75 Definitely recommend this Lowe's moreso than others in Austin! read more

I normally shop at the other big box home improvement store. But I was looking for some tomato cages and Lowe's had them for only $2.15. Half what Home Deport was selling them for. Found a spot to park close to the Garden Center entrance. I had the location of the aisle and rack from the online inventory. Started in search of that location, found it and Nope. There were a ton of flower pots but no cages. Wandered around and found some weird looking cages but not the ones I wanted. Decided it was time to ask for help. Make a note not to ask anyone in a red shirt. They are vendors and not employees. Finally found an employee, but he didn't know squat. By this time I had walked around the garden Center three times with no luck. Decided to ask the cashier, nope she was swamped. Found some guy watering plants outside the gate, of course he knew. He pointed outside the gate and said, they are next to the tomato plants. Grabbed three and headed back to pay. Waited until my turn. Then rushed home. I pretty much left just as confused as when I walked in. I come in to this particular Lowe's today not really expecting anything different. As I was walking around the different plants I notice this lady interacting with this family and particularly their son. I'm thinking he was wanting to touch a cactus, and I'm pretty sure she was laughing which made me laugh! Then another lady walked by her and said thank you so much for helping me! This lady's name was Debi, and I'm so glad I waited to meet her! Debi didn't make me feel stupid. She looked at my pictures I took. She suggested a few plants. I think she noticed I was starting to get overwhelmed, so she dialed it back... way back! She brought me over to these roses. She was like "Why don't you start with these since you basically can't kill them." She meant this sincerely people! My office manager ordered a French Door online and I rented a box truck to pick it up. After going through the pickup process where it was already on a cart, we wheeled it over to the pro desk and asked for help to load it up. A guy came and we carefully slid the door up on the frame side. We had trouble fitting it and slid it down - again on the frame. That's when I looked up and saw a dent it the door section. The Pro Desk lady who was out there instantly said we must have damaged it while loading. First of all we always had the frame touching the truck and secondly, the brute force it would take to make such a dent is way beyond anything we could exert - even if we tried. The unexpressed resentment from this lady when I said I would not be able to take it was palpable. She explained how she could not help me wit a credit "because I had already taken the door" and that I would have to go back to customer service. I asked her to look and see if they have one in stock at Killeen - close to where I was heading. "No but they have one at Stassney." Way south. "All the other stores shows theirs as damaged - that door is discontinued" she told me. After getting my credit, I called my office manager - and she ordered one from, yes - Killeen! This is the Lowes where I typically shop. Today when I went in to buy some garden supplies, i went to pick up a hose reel box and a rat scurried across my foot. Thinking it was a one off, I picked up what I thought was an in tact sealed box. When I put it in my cart, there was a hole in it and another rat fell out. I struck the box a couple times, and thinking it was safe, went along my merry way. I bumped it reaching for something and ANOTHER rat fell out. I bumped it a couple more times and a THIRD RAT fell out. At that point I threw it out of my cart in the aisle and walked away. When it landed a bunch or rat droppings fell out of the box. I will be very wary of buying anything out of that garden center anymore. read more

STAY AWAY - Lowe's is completely and totally incompetent, and they will NEVER EVER receive another penny of my family's money - ever. We ordered a fridge from them MONTHS ago to be delivered today. We received several confirmations yesterday that the fridge would in fact be delivered today and between 9am and 1pm. This morning at 7am, we receive the following email which basically means that we will have no fridge to move our groceries OR OUR INSULIN into tomorrow when we move in " It seems we did not receive the fridge on our overnight receiving truck as we expected. After looking into this a bit further we learned that our distribution center had a discrepancy in their inventory and unfortunately item #1636168 is currently out of stock. At this time there is no expected reshipment date and we will not be able to get this item reordered anytime soon. I am tired of the hunt! Like for real! I use the app to find locations of products I'm searching for a 9 times out of 10 never in that spot! I check to make sure I'm in the correct store on the app and I'm in it and the product was moved and cannot locate it. For instance heaters were inside. After walking the ENTIRE store looking someone working there saw that I looked lost and asked me what I was looking for so I told him and he's like oh yeah they were moved to the garden center???? You know, I like Lowe's. I really do. I used to be a big fan of their competitor, but, Lowe's has proven to be the better deal. I've been a customer at this location for at least 10 years. I've purchased everything from plants to pieces of wood. Recently I decided it was time to purchase new porcelain thrones. The three I had were the originals from 1996! Out with the old and in with the new! Like all smart shoppers I stalked Lowe's searching out the perfect shitter. I tried to get the salesman (Lowe's employee) to open some up and let me sit on them to see how they felt. He looked at me as if I'd lost my mind. He wouldn't go for it. There was one on display by a antique tub so I went over and sat on that one. I liked the way it felt. Your legs get slightly elevated which lowers your butt. It's a more comfortable shit position. Finally I made a decision on the Kohler Highline Classic. Elongated. It uses a pressure lite flushing system maxing on 1.6gf. There are actually two flushes. One for liquids, and, one for solids. The solid flush uses the max flush of 1.6g. These toilets are bad ass. They're economical. Have a high performance rating. Have a quiet flush, and, you can't slam the lid! So no more taking your anger out on the toilet by slamming the lid down. Once these bad boys went on sale I headed in to Lowe's to beg and bargain. I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of installing them myself and having to get rid of the old one's, so I had Lowe's do it. We made a deal and Lowe's showed up on time and changed out my shitters in less than an hour! Yes of course I had to pay a haul fee, but, I'm shittin' happy today! Thanks Lowe's!! read more

I went there today to get some hardware and copies of keys. I was able to get my hardware I needed on my own. However, a worker saw me approaching and went directly to an older male next to me. No problem, it was clear I too needed help, so I thought he'd let me know he'd help in in a second. Meanwhile another customer found someone else to make a copy of her keys. I'm standing in line behind her. When this guy finishes, he turns his back on me and starts talking to the first worker who ignored me earlier. He then leaves. The first worker piddles behind the counter, then looks up and asks, "do you need some help?" I feel like everything leading up to this moment indicated I needed help, but I guess not in the eyes of this guy!? We have been using this Lowe's for a decade now, but I really think it is time to make a switch. This location has extremely poor customer service. read more
