The plants were delivered within a couple of days, to my doorstep, and they were beautiful! The plants and service exceeded my expectations. Customer service is highly responsive and the plants themselves were clearly grown with love. I think the prices are very fair, and delivery to my area was just $10. I got a lot more bang for my buck at Lonestar Nursery than when I used a gift card to buy plants from Burpees. Lonestar's plants are much larger, healthier and better. They hand-delivered them instead of shipping them through the mail. I am thrilled with my purchase and look forward to getting more plants soon.

Bloomers in Elgin delivered on both. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and actually knowledgeable about their plants (which makes a huge difference when you're hunting for anything uncommon). They were willing to answer questions and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. Their rare plant selection is dope. There were so many unique plants to choose from, and even what they consider their "regular houseplant section" had plants you honestly won't find at most other shops in Central Texas. I found myself doing multiple laps because I kept spotting things I missed the first time. The greenhouse setup was beautiful and well organized, and you can tell they take pride in the health of their inventory. He came at the scheduled time, took care of everything, sprayed to prevent future weeds, and even cleaned up pigeon poop that had accumulated from a horrible pigeon infestation. They have pretty much every imaginable perennial and annual along with succulents and trees, even large mature trees. Most everything here has pricing attached to it, but not everything. They have lots of PVC and accessories for lawn sprinklers. They don't have a great selection of mulch and they only sell large quantities of weed preventative permeable ground cover. They even have some large pavers and stones. It's likely they offer a discount if you buy in quantity. While asking questions about the product, it was discovered that the box for the item I wanted was not onto the shelf. The person assisting me answers some of my questions, however, they didn't have the answers for some of the most important ones and needed the box to provide that information. While the box was being located, I continued to shop. I didn't receive an update within a few minutes and saw how the workers were talking amongst themselves and looking a little goofy, I asked, "Did you find the box?!" They had not found it so I asked about the store hours and told them I'd be back tomorrow (which it today) to pick up my items. Well, I am here in the store now. I don't see any familiar faces and a sweet lady named Julia asked me is I needed assistance. I told her what I wanted and watched in the background as a conversation began between two employees who obviously knew what was going on with my particular situation. When Julia asked about the box, they had lost it and couldn't sell me what I needed, so now I'm dead in the water! Do better Ace Hardware!!
