Well it's one of my favorite stores in the world. They have everything one could want. We headed up north to TSC for some weed killer. Once there we walked around looking at all the store has to offer. What a selection. Their prices are fair and the service is awesome. The people enjoy their jobs and it shows. The BF brought me along for a trip to tractor supply to pick up some weed killer. It is a very fun place to walk around and check out all that is available. In addition to all of the farm, home, tractor supplies, they sell cute clothes and baseball caps. I came here to buy some puppy milk for my puppies. They are always in stock compared to petsmart and Petco. I had never been inside of a tractor supply before but ended up staying to look around because they had a wide selection of different outdoor needs. They had lots of seeds and gardening tools as well supplies for horses and even had cool good quality clothes. I bought my son some adorable blue and red rain boots. Terrible customer service. Called ahead to ask about swapping out a CO2 tank for the office kegerator. Confirmed they had what I needed and drove up to the store. After handing the person working at the customer service desk my empty tank, she takes it to the back. I end up waiting 15 minutes before she comes back out and says they don't have any CO2. I stopped at this one in Cedar Park because I was going by it and I needed to get a bag of goat feed to tide me over till I get to the feed store. People here seemed real nice and helpful. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear a Tractor Supply name tag that says Chris. I met Chris the first time I went to the Cedar Park Tractor Supply Co. to look at dog runs for two dogs who had been living on chains, and whose owner had agreed to allow me to install runs for them. Chris was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. A couple of days later I ran into some issues on the TS website and again Chris was super helpful. He would call me whenever part of my order had arrived, and he also made sure to mark the items with my name so they wouldn't accidentally be sold to someone else. Fast forward to the big day at the house where the dogs lived... it quickly became clear that we were short several panels and only had enough to fully assemble one of the runs. This meant that we would have to come back at a later date to build the second run. I was feeling so disheartened.... so discouraged. I called Chris and told him what was happening. I explained that there were a lot of logistics to make this day happen, and most importantly, we really wanted both dogs off their chains that day. Chris told me he'd take care of it... he wasn't sure if his store had the panels, but if it didn't, he had secured some at another store. Turns out Chris's store had the panels, he loaded them up in his trailer, and he then drove almost 2 hours to the house. Let's be clear that Chris was under no obligation to do this. Sure, it was likely a mistake made by an employee but I didn't check the order either. Chris could have easily told me I would need to come back to the store to pick up the panels. He could have offered me a refund on the panels. He could have told me sorry & better luck next time. He could have told me a lot of different things. Instead, he stepped up and made sure that these two dogs would not spend one more day on chains. I'm gonna guess that Chris and I may not have a lot in common. But on December 11th, that didn't matter ... we came together and those two dogs now live chain-free! The next time you need some dog supplies, or a grill, or patio furniture, or one of the other many items that Tractor Supply sells, I highly recommend Chris at the Cedar Park store. I come here every so often to refill on all my hen's supplies and food because this place is way more inexpensive compared to other places. Yes it lacks convenience compared to prime delivery but you cannot defeat prices and quantity. They have almost everything you need for your pet/farm needs. The employees are friendly and very knowledgable and they do sell baby chicks/ducks if you do decide to raise little hens like me! 4 stars~ read more

i recently made purchases of over $150. at TS. I realize that's not a lot to some but it was to me. Their customer service is none existent. I had a simple question about the necessary items to make a water collection system. I knew what I wanted. I was told they didn't have any of that in the store. I'd have to order it. This review is not about the local store, but about the website. As far as I'm concerned the local store got 5 stars. The website? I was going to give them 3 but they just earned 2. I wanted to order some mobile wire shelving online, and have it delivered to the store, as it was on sale and had free delivery to the store. But every time I changed the quantity to more than 1, it would charge me shipping. I tried calling the online site to find out why but they kept disconnecting me during their service announcements. After 5 times of that over 2 days, I finally called this store and the guy knew why immediately. "You can only only have 1 per order". WTF? okay fine, I did two orders and they went thru immediately. Ordered on a Friday, they finally drop-shipped on a Monday, got to Austin FedEx via Ground on Friday night, and delivered to this store on Monday morning. Drive to store, call Curbside pickup, they bring it out in 5-10 minutes and load it up. 5 STARS for the local store. NO PROBLEMS! Get home, start assembling. Minor damage to boxes but apparently no item damage....until I get to the very last shelf. It's not quite going on right. Next day I call the manufacturer (phone # in the assembly instructions) and they give me some suggestions. Still not working so I inspect closer and find that one of the corner post-sleeves has a dent making it non-round. A-HA! Someone dropped it on the corner of the box during shipping. I try to bend it out, which kinda works but not perfect and now paint is chipping. Ok, I'm done. Call back to the manufacturer, they request a pic which I email to them. Within an hour they tell me they're sending me a replacement shelf, gratis, and I can do whatever I want with the damaged one. BONUS! ok, NOW we get to the part where TSC just earned 2 stars. So a day or two later I get an email from TSC asking me to review the product and the order, and I write up the SAME EXACT REVIEW as above but giving the website 3 stars for average service (for the ordering issues and the phone issues). They have the gall to reject my objective review and say that it does not meet their website standards! In other words, they are trying to only have good review on their website Okay, TSC, you've just earned the review I am now filing on Yelp. This time you earned a star drop because you tried to muzzle my review to make yourselves look better than you are. If you can't take the heat, then you've got no business asking for customer opinions. Stick a fork in TSC, they're done. read more

Went into this store today buy a trailer and supplies for my sister who evacuated to Austin for Hurricane Ida. Gerald helped us out and I have to say this was the best customer service I've ever experienced. Gerald was very helpful in ensuring we had everything needed. While there I experienced multiple customers coming into the store specifically asking for Gerald and he managed our needs while keeping his other customers happy. I also noticed all the other employees here were very engaged with their customers while keeping a very upbeat environment in this store. I will become a more regular shopper at this Tractor Supply. My grandmother and I shop here weekly. Everyone is usually so very friendly but today we were helped by a young cashier named PAIGE. She was EXTREMELY rude, acted like we ruined her day by being there and said "Oh S***" when she scanned a bag of feed twice. Then proceeded to not say a word when she handed us our recipt so my grandmother told her to have a nice day and she mummbled something under her breath. The staff is really friendly and it's the most conveniently-located if you're in North Austin. I specifically called the store because ahead of time on my way there to see if I would be able to get help to my car because I had my special needs son with me. I had done a online order for in-store pick up and was told that it wouldn't be an issue helping me. I went into the store and let them know I was there for order pick up, the guy has had a bad day apparently. He said OK it'll be on a pallet near the front. I waited a few minutes to see if he meant he was bringing it up or what the situation was and asked a gentleman working the counter. His response was oh well it's out front on a pallet you'll just have to go grab it. I reminded him that I had asked to see if I could get assistance carrying it because I couldn't carry 40 pounds and my son at the same time. He gave me a blank face and said well..... I could understand their lack of giving a damn if it was extremely busy but they were three people working and they weren't busy. They could really use a course in customer service and maybe even being a gentleman. From now on I will not patronize that store and I will have the items delivered to my home. Y'all I came here from south Austin to get a 16ft gate and they gave me the wrong one at first I called to get the right one bc they left didn't even help just gave me the product and left. I had to re call them to get the right one I was going to explain and DYLON said I know what you want without letting us explain anything then he brought me a different one I told them it was not that one and he said it's the same price so it's that one. On June 7th, I placed an order for 6 bottles of Malathion, 3 were in the store that I picked up the same day as ordered, the other 3 were to be shipped and I would be notified. On June 16th I called the Tractor Supply store in Cedar Park and spoke to the manager and he said I needed to call Fed-Ex to see where my order was. I explained to him the tracker shows it in Pflugerville, TX he said that Fed Ex would be by his store later that day and he would follow-up with me after the drop off. I drive by this Tractor Supply store often and hence the name I thought there was nothing I would be in the market for purchasing. When I came home to some hangry cats I remembered someone mentioning they have pet food so I thought I would check them out. The store is pet friendly so I brought the pup on the trip too. When we walked in we were greeted by smiling employees and was asked if I needed help finding anything. Nala sniffed her way to the food aisle and seemed pleased to find random kibble on the floor about every other step we took. What I was surprised about is that they carry some grade A pet food and treats. Nala got some Wellness and Merrick treats and the cats got their food. If you are not familiar with Merrick they make a gluten free and grain free line of food and treats made right here in Texas. Tractor Supply also has a selection of toys and chews. The price point is in line with other places we shop but the fact that they are closer to home makes TS slightly more appealing. read more

This place is always customer service doesn't matter if there's a lot of customers in the store. I understand it can be frustrating when there's a lot of people in the store. But to sit in the store with your kid throwing a fit and then wasting your time for 20 minutes saying will come fill the propane in a minute I'm the only one here that can do it. I told her that the price is the same online at Home Depot as it is in the store and it's ALSO the price at Amazon! I also told her I can't get a flyer bc it's NOT on sale and they don't have flyers for every item in the store. It's like pulling teeth to get them to help. She then calls Bob. Bob never comes. I'm about to give up on this store. They have quality cat and dog foods at good prices. However, the majority of the time I come here, they don't have what I need, stocked on the shelves. I either have the misfortune of coming in *right* after a particular cat food hoarder clears the shelves, or the store just isn't adequately ordering and stocking products. Seriously though, most of the time I try to shop here, this is how my trip goes (and below is actually a transcript of my time-before-last): Walk in. Grab a cart, and push it to the back of the store. Look for "small" size peanut butter "Old Mother Hubbard" dog biscuits. Notice that they either don't have or don't carry the peanut butter variety, but they've managed to stock a less common flavor (bacon 'n' cheez) instead. Grab a bag or two of the bacon 'n' cheez. Stroll over to the cat food section, look for the larger cans of "4Health" cat food in any flavor. Notice that they have 3, tucked allllllll the way on the back of the shelf, where you can't see them unless you're squatting down. Grab those three, and walk up to the front. Wait in line. When it's my turn, I ask the cashier if she can have someone check the back for any flavor of large "4Health" cat food cans. Patiently wait, as she pages overhead for someone in the warehouse to call her. Allow other customers behind me, to check out while we wait on a call back. Listen, as her phone rings, and she picks up, asking them if they have any more "4Health" cat food in the salmon flavor (the one I've snagged off the shelf). As I try to correct her, asking for the larger cans of any flavor, she's hanging up and it's too late. Wait several more minutes, until someone from the back brings a carton of the small cans (not the large ones I need) up to the front. Apologize to them, and clarify that I'm really looking for the larger cans, and am immediately notified by them that they're out. Take a deep breath, to stifle my growing frustration and thank them for checking. Pay for the products I *could* find, and leave, hoping they'll have what I need in stock, next time. This past Monday, the same scenario happened, but when the inventory person walked up, they had two cases of the large cat food cans, that had been collecting dust in the back, instead of selling off the shelves. Please fix this! I really don't want to have to buy these kinds of things at Petsmart, but if their replenishment SOP and inventory levels support my shopping habits, I won't really have much of a choice... ... ... read more

When I called a couple of days ago with questions about a store item the clerk was acting annoyed and then hung up on me. I love my tractor supply. I am always greeted by the staff and most of them know exactly what I need. Running a dog training facility, I buy a lot of dog food. There is a young man who always comes up and says, 4 diamond natural large breed and 3 salmon and potato 4 Health? And off to the back he scurries and brings the dolly of my dog food. They scan it at the front and off he scurries to my car and loads it up. I'm not sure what his name is, but he is a very polite, sweet and hard working young man. I only go there if absolutely necessary. A few years back while I was building paddocks and buying a lot of fencing supplies and even a run in shed, they dinged my truck while loading some woven wire fencing. It was not major damage but I did expect them to own up to it. Tractor supply would not take responsibility. They were snotty in the store and cold as ice in the head office. When I shared my experiences with friends they ALL had a story to tell. The store has a new manager now and the folks are friendly but I never forget what kind of policies back the store. I only shop there when I need something immediately and can't get it elsewhere. There has to be a significant price difference to make it worth my while to shop there. read more

CHEAPEST PLACE FOR BUNNY FOOD! I have a rabbit and rabbits eat like there's no tomorrow. There's no way I could afford to keep my little critter without this feed store. Pet stores way over charge for fancy, color-dyed pellets. This place sells a huge bag of natural, healthier rabbit pellets for a fraction of the price. They are stocked on tons of small animal supplies too! I also had an incident where my dog got mange and the staff here was incredibly helpful in assisting me find the right product. They also have great seasonal items and I absolutely love when the baby chicks arrive.... the entire store is filled with the sweet innocent sounds of *peep, peep, peep*. read more

I went to the Tractor Supply today in Cedar Park, Texas, to purchase some covering for a greenhouse that I am building. The clerk that waited on me, James, was extremely helpful, and had great ideas. He took the time to even draw me a diagram of how to make a door on the front middle of the greenhouse to be able to get in the middle, and be able to easily get in to harvest my vegetables, cabbage, yellow squash, etc. I would highly recommend him to anyone that has a question about a particular project, especially building a Domed Greenhouse of Flex PVC Pipe, which I already had purchased somewhere else. He showed my roommate and I how to use two [2] T connectors, and four [4] 90 Degree connectors to make a door which I am covering with chicken wire, which is sturdy but flexible to bend up. I was going to use Clear White Plastic, but he advised me to use Chicken Wire, and therefore I would not have to replace the Clear Plastic over time.
