TSC has the things I need to do jobs on the farm. I get some of my feed at TSC. I stopped at this one in Cedar Park because I was going by it and I needed to get a bag of goat feed to tide me over till I get to the feed store. People here seemed real nice and helpful. I found the trailer supplies I need to redo my welding trailer. Small store but nice and clean.

    Chris & the panels!

Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear a Tractor Supply name tag that says Chris. I met Chris the first time I went to the Cedar Park Tractor Supply Co. to look at dog runs for two dogs who had been living on chains, and whose owner had agreed to allow me to install runs for them. Chris was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions. A couple of days later I ran into some issues on the TS website and again Chris was super helpful. He would call me whenever part of my order had arrived, and he also made sure to mark the items with my name so they wouldn't accidentally be sold to someone else. Fast forward to the big day at the house where the dogs lived... it quickly became clear that we were short several panels and only had enough to fully assemble one of the runs. This meant that we would have to come back at a later date to build the second run. I was feeling so disheartened.... so discouraged. I called Chris and told him what was happening. I explained that there were a lot of logistics to make this day happen, and most importantly, we really wanted both dogs off their chains that day. Chris told me he'd take care of it... he wasn't sure if his store had the panels, but if it didn't, he had secured some at another store. Turns out Chris's store had the panels, he loaded them up in his trailer, and he then drove almost 2 hours to the house. Let's be clear that Chris was under no obligation to do this. Sure, it was likely a mistake made by an employee but I didn't check the order either. Chris could have easily told me I would need to come back to the store to pick up the panels. He could have offered me a refund on the panels. He could have told me sorry & better luck next time. He could have told me a lot of different things. Instead, he stepped up and made sure that these two dogs would not spend one more day on chains. I'm gonna guess that Chris and I may not have a lot in common. But on December 11th, that didn't matter ... we came together and those two dogs now live chain-free! The next time you need some dog supplies, or a grill, or patio furniture, or one of the other many items that Tractor Supply sells, I highly recommend Chris at the Cedar Park store. Tell him Kayla sent you. Actually, maybe don't.... ;) PS Chris didn't want to take this picture but I asked him nicely and I think he was just ready for this transaction to be over haha.

Disappointed me too many times to go back...poor stock, failure to replace mold-contaminated feed, failure to warranty incubator.

I bought a good amount of merchandise but something i took home did not work and had to return it. Our experience with the kitchen department was extremely frustrating from start to finish. Roel, the "designer," was not professional at all and did an awful job. There was a serious lack of communication--not only between us and the team, but also between Lowe's and their contractors. We created two design versions (original and updated), but the cabinet company received only the original plan, which had incorrect dimensions. As a result, the cabinets were built in the wrong size, causing major delays and unnecessary stress. Because of this mistake, we had to wait over a month for the correct cabinet to arrive, even though this was not treated as an urgent issue. When the replacement cabinet and accessories finally arrived at the store, the situation got even worse due to disorganization. Some replacement parts were delivered to our home, but the most important piece--the base cabinet--was missing, along with the accessories. Without it, we couldn't move forward with installing the countertop. We ended up having to go to the store ourselves and help them locate the missing items. They eventually found the base cabinet, but the accessories were lost and had to be reordered yet again. To make matters worse, the wall cabinet was also designed incorrectly. The designer failed to account for the necessary clearance to open the cabinet doors properly, which means it now needs to be redone. After more than two months of constant issues, delays, and headaches, our kitchen is still not finished. They still need to reorder the incorrectly designed wall cabinet and the missing accessories. Customer service has been extremely poor--they show no sense of urgency or accountability. We constantly have to follow up and push them just to get basic things done. Overall, a very disappointing and exhausting experience. I would not recommend using Lowe's kitchen department in Leander, TX.

When we arrived at the location, we requested to speak with a manager. After a brief conversation with one manager, we were directed to two other managers' specifically the pro sales manager, Craig Cottier, and Brian Scott, the assistant manager of specialty sales. Both of these managers went over the Eagle Scout proposal in depth with Thing One so they could fully understand what he was trying to accomplish. After a lengthy discussion, we were advised by the managers that the store had already reached their donation cap for the year, but they would try to work with Thing One to get discounted materials for the project. While I could pay for the materials myself, for those who are not aware, there is a fundraising component of an Eagle Scout project with specific rules and regulations. Eagle candidates may ask for donations of materials or discounts on materials from companies or individuals. The candidate must furnish a list of prospective donors with their fundraising application, per national policy, for council approval before soliciting the material donations or discounts. Candidates may also hold fundraising events, such as car washes, meat stick sales, and the like, with an approved application. Many scouts do fundraising or ask for donations as it allows them to show their leadership, communication, and project management skills they've learned while in the BSA. Thing One was able to get 28 pieces of 2x8 Pressure Treated Pine for less than $35 (that's a savings of over $350). The Pine was of excellent quality. Because of the generosity of Lowes and Craig and Brian, Thing One was able to complete his Eagle Scout project successfully while living up to the Boy Scout Law of being thrifty.
