This is a very nice store. The people are very friendly in the supply of items is vast. There's something for everyone here. They have nice gift items like cups and bird houses. They have nice plants to start a garden with. They have items for most every animal and their health needs. They also have unique candies. They, of course, have tractors too! This is a fun store to walk around because there is so much to look at. I bought some deer corn and a pretty cup. I also got some fire ant control substance for my yard. I bought a birdhouse and some birdseed. I also got my daughter-in-law a bag of strawberry candy. This is a good place to shop. I will definitely be back again and again! They have a veterinarian inside also. The prices are quite affordable. I like this store. read more

Love me some Tractor Supply! They have a little bit of everything tools different feeds different stuff for your vehicle storage containers. Just a good mix. A good price is always a good time to wander through here I go here quite a bit to get my dog food and also browse and see what other goodies they have. I wish we had one of these stores in Austin. What a charming store! It is an old timey hardware store. They have a mix of items from feed to smaller selection of what you can find in a HomeDepot. I prefer the small town feel of this store. All the employees are super friendly and helpful. I ordered my items online and then picked up, but also browsed the store aisle by aisle because I was fascinated by their inventory. Good prices on items carried in store. Items are of good quality. I have been in this store multiple times and have not had any issues. One thing I have learned is if you go in with a bad attitude you will likely get on in return. The staff has always been pretty friendly and helpful for the most part. There is always someone, somewhere having a bad day so I try to let things go. You can't judge a place by one person (unless of course they are the only person!) They have a pretty good selection of farm and ranch needs as well as pet supplies, automotive stuff and some tools. The inventory is not huge, but usually have what I am looking for. Yes, there is cheap stuff made in China but who doesn't have that? This locations is a little more difficult to get to, but I needed some propane tanks refilled. I called head to verify they had propane and I could get my tanks filled. I went in, was greeted kindly and said I needed the refills. I was directed to the refill station and drove over there. I have usually just exchanged my tanks at Academy but decided to have them refilled this time. I had 3- 20lb tanks. At Academy that would have been about $49, or $14.99 each plus tax I think, never looked at the receipt. Tractor Supply refills at $2.49 per gallon. A 20lb tank holds about 5 gallons so that is $12.45, already a savings over an exchange at Academy. If your tanks are not certified and in good condition then thank them for telling you as they may have just saved your life! An employee was waiting for me when I got over there. He refilled my tanks quickly (he looked tired so I didn't fire up a conversation) and I went in to pay. Due to the tanks rarely being "completely" empty the 3 tanks held 14.1 gallons. So I only paid $35.11 (I don't think there was tax) for the propane I refilled vs the exchange. I figure I saved about $15. I will certainly be refilling from now on and the folks at Tractor Supply are easy to work with. read more

3rd time I have called and told they have propane. Show up within 15 minutes and out when onsite. Amazing if it happens once but 3 times is just a lie. Do not recommend them. Go to Propane Plus. May be a little further if in Georgetown but they have it when they tell you the do. read more

It's a typical TSC. Probably a little smaller then average and sort of hidden down hill by Hobby Lobby. We get good service there. I won't give it 5 star because I really wish they'd offer better clothing. I just think they could do a better job. Not saying they need more. Just better stuff. We came to get some grooming stuff for our horses and ear tags for our calves. The tag gun didn't work so we have to return it. No biggie (or believe me, I'll update this review!). read more

This store just flat out sucks long before the pandemic. It NEVER has the items we need. Not just one or 2 items that I always go in for. It is literally every time I need something...wire fencing, dog food, canned puppy food, roller wheels, latches, carabiners, dewormer, Hose replacement parts...I'm not kidding EVERY TIME, we go there, we end up at the Jarrell store. We continued to give this store a chances because it's the most convenient store but not any more. This is the poorest run tractor supply I have ever been to. It started since the manager with the accent took over. He's rude and does not give a damn. Tractor supply needs a new manager. read more

We've been repeatedly disappointed with this TSC location. The store always seems in disarray and today when we went in for an insecticide we were unable to get any assistance in locating it inside the store. Staff is not helpful nor very alert to customer needs. We left and made the drive to Jarrell's TSC where we were cheerfully and expertly helped. Bought the product there. read more

Just moved to the area and excited about not having to drive the next town over to get dog food. Visited the TSC here in G-town for the first time and wanted to pick up some wild bird seed as well. Going down the right side of the store I find small animal feed, chicken and pet bird food, cat food, dog and horse food. No bird seed. Ask a young female employee "Brenda" I believe, "Could you tell me where the wild bird seed is?" Without even looking at me, starts walking away assuming I would follow her and says "Was it the sign that was confusing?" Umm, excuse me? I have no idea what this young lady's problem is but she should absolutely not be speaking to customers or anyone else that way. She tried to point me to the other side of the store and I just brush past and said I would figure it out. Found it on the other side with a larger sign blocking the wild bird seed one. I had another employee Jacob ask if everything was alright and I explained what happened. Jacob was very nice, apologetic, and even checked us out so I didn't have to interact with the rude employee who was now at the register. He apologized once more and I said he shouldn't be apologizing but the young lady next to him should. She didn't of course, just looked at me with this confused dirty look that told me she obviously didn't have the emotional intelligence to admit she was wrong or to take accountability for her actions. I am ordering my dog food from chewy in the future and getting that sweet autoship discount so I'll be saving money and NEVER stepping into that location again. I suggest you do the same. read more

These folks are so helpful and friendly. We bought a few things inside and Taylor at the register was so nice and helpful. Then we bought 4 bales of hays and drove around for them to load it. service is definitely not a priority here. i needed propane. they said it would be 20 minutes before they could fill my tanks. there is only 1 person working and only 5 cars in the parking lot. the time before this they ran out of propane. first time i went there, they said 1 tank needed recertified. i bought a tank there and when i went to get my tank recertified, I was told it was good until 2023. The service is poor, the workers are not knowledgeable, and they never fill the tanks completely. The worker says maybe they need purged. These tanks have been filled correctly for years in california with no problems. Beware. I Watch them shut the valve off before the tank is full. read more

This is a pretty small TSC. They have the best pricing on livestock fencing and it's hard to find other agricultural products locally, but the selection is really limited. Was disappointed that they have absolutely no equine joint supplements, a very limited selection of generic livestock feed with zero premium brands, and really overpriced pet supplies. So I'll stick with buying the occasional fencing product there, but that's all they have to offer me. read more

This is my least-favorite Tractor Supply. The store is quite small and they even store 50-lb bags of feed in the glass entryway that gets lots of sunlight and wide temperature variations throughout the day. Because of that, I don't shop here. read more

By far the most poorly run/managed Tractor Supply I've ever tried to do business with. Over a period of 4 days, I could not get an answer on inventory for a product. (The employees on the phone not only hung up on me 3 different times, but they wanted sympathy because it's a busy time of year) When I showed up at the store, they still could not tell me if they had a product in stock. When I asked if I could pay for the product and have them secure the inventory from the next truck, the employee told me that the other employees would probably just sell off the stock even though it was reserved "because some of them don't have the best memory." We called around looking for galvanized tubs and the manager set some aside for us. When we arrived, the lady helping us went to check in the back and could not find them which discouraged us because we needed them for a special event. However, the man that was there went and checked again for us and found em which was great because they were $10 less each then several other places we checked with. I know the bigger big box stores have cookie cutter service and scores of employees but I like Tractor Supply Company. Every time I go in there they either have what I need or seem genuinely sorry they don't. The people who work there are friendly and helpful and in my experience they are always ready to walk you over to where something is and actually show you so your not searching for hours trying to find stuff. Went in today for chicken wire. One of the guys working showed me where it was then came back around in a bit to see if I needed help, asked me what I was using it for and gave me suggestions how to secure it. I knew what I needed and how I planned on using it but it was good to know that he wanted to help and wasn't just trying to sell me something and make it to 5 o'clock. If you need ranch or farming stuff they usually have it. It's a good place and the prices are reasonable imho. read more
