The grocery store was very nice today and very well stocked. This HEB is not as big as the Round Rock H-E-B, but it's still nice. They have a good variety of most items. Some items that I buy at round rock were not available at this store, but I bought other items in place of them. They have a bakery that's quite impressive. Their meat department is also top-of-the-line. They make their own tortillas and bread. They have a nice deli. (I bought lunch!) They have plants outside. They have flowers and toys and make up! They have just about everything you would need. You can cash checks there. The prices are good and their produce, and groceries are well taken care of. You can buy some organic products here, or non-organic. Their employees are very kind and helpful. I like this store. My previous review was only the pharmacy. I don't care for their pharmacy. The service I've gotten there has been less than adequate and they only sell generic prescriptions. I prefer name brand.

I've now had two bad experiences with the employees at this location. First instance was with a young tall guy that was super rude at check out and didn't put any of our information down for a reserved piece of furniture. Thank GOD we had the receipt and Brittney was on top of it! She got us all set up and was super nice the whole way. The second instance was with a woman that worked there. Little backstory, you need to tear off the bottom piece of the slip on a paper on the furniture you want and take it to the register to buy. We did that. The lady said we had the wrong slip even though on the paper it says "rip off this piece and take to register to purchase". TLDR: she was wrong and we were almost denied the chair until yet again Brittney saved the day! this sounds crazy but as someone that works in retail, I know it's not easy, but I was extremely nice to the people who only gave me rude and argumentative tones back.

The service is great, the pharmacy fast and efficient and the shelves well stocked with diverse selection merchandise. This Walgreens takes me back to the old 'neighborhood' drug stores. Not soda fountains and burgers old -- but the Gus's Drugs we used to have and then the old Eckerd's. Plus, the pharmacy is thoroughly modern and efficient. They've got everything you can imagine (or couldn't have imagined) on the shelves which always makes drug stores like this interesting to browse. Their neat shelves have everything from heated, vibrating foot massaging contraptions to ice cream treats. Greeting cards are offered in enormous variety. If you've got a fever and the only cure is more cowbell....well, they don't have cowbells. But probably a cow plush and 50 cures for flu and cold. THE PHARMACY is very good and offers steep discounts with insurance or various programs they can guide you toward. They use automated call/text for prescription arrivals and notice when it's been picked up. They also offer all seasonal shots. I find the staff courteous and quick to serve. I won't dock points for not having cowbells, but I'll look for Bluebell ice cream or a competitor next time I'm in as I find myself utilizing their convenience more frequently.
