When purchasing the spiral ham the coupon is to get 5 free items - the meal deal of the week. On the display - 3 of the items look like the coupon items, but are charged at full price when you check out. Somehow, the wrong items are put on the display but are NOT part of the coupon and are not free, however they look like the free items. The green beans are not, the mac and cheese is not and the dish soap is not part of the meal deal but included in the display. I refused the 3 items and did not get my 5 free items since they rang up full price. The Tx Sheet cake were correct and the potatoes were correct. I thought, ok, they are substituting because they ran out. No, they are not. They are full price and not any part of the coupon for the meal deal in anyway. However, they are on the display looking like the items of the meal deal. Of course, in the middle of the check out, who wants to run around the store and find the correct items?? SO, please beware and check your charges. If you think you were suppose to get it free, chances are you did not. Happy to know I have other options, Sprouts, Aldi, Randalls and Natures Grocer.

They have a relatively new store branded version of "Dave's Killer Bread" in several varieties, and not only is it priced much better but I think it's tastier. The so-called "aisle of shame" sometimes has interesting household and clothing items, so is always fun to look through if you have the time. The store is rarely crowded, but sometimes lines are long to check out. Some of the cashiers are super nice and make the experience more enjoyable.

Their meat department is also top-of-the-line. They make their own tortillas and bread. They have a nice deli. (I bought lunch!) They have plants outside. They have flowers and toys and make up! They have just about everything you would need. You can cash checks there. The prices are good and their produce, and groceries are well taken care of. You can buy some organic products here, or non-organic. Their employees are very kind and helpful. I like this store. My previous review was only the pharmacy. I don't care for their pharmacy. The service I've gotten there has been less than adequate and they only sell generic prescriptions. I prefer name brand.

She looked over at us (parked in front of the tire bay), smirked and walked with the gentleman to his vehicle. While waiting, another vehicle pulls up and she looks at us and blatantly ignored us. She started assisting the new driver. I got out of my vehicle, walked past her, into the building. I spoke with Garrett and requested the manager. He came quickly. I explained my situation and concerns. He assured me that I would be taken care of and immediately. He found my tires and got us started. (Carlos, the manager) He even took our groceries out to the car. He made sure that we were getting better customer service. While speaking to the manager, Carlos, Lindsay walked to my vehicle and addressed my family. She stated that it was a 2-3 hour wait and someone else was in front of us. Family stated that we will go elsewhere. She said: suit yourself and left. She told her manager that we would have to wait. There is a walk-in in front of us. The audacity. Again, if I didn't NEED my tires today, we would've left. So grateful for Mr. Carlos! That's why I gave them a 4.

Yes, I must make a pit stop at HEB to see what I can find. With lighting speed, I found an ornament and gift bag. However, I did not find any tissue...yikes! What would a Girl Scout do? As the cashier was ringing me out, I asked if he had some tissue. He said, "no" however he did provide me a paper towel looking material. Beggars cannot be choosers. So, I happily took the material and wrapped my jack pot ornament. Thanks HEB for rescuing me on this gift exchange adventure. When I got to my sorority meeting, all ornaments were being removed from their original packaging and put in clear bags provided by the sorority. So, I did not need my bag nor tissue (actually tissue-like) material. This HEB appears to be a super store, which means it is large with a huge variety of items from groceries to clothing and everything in between.
