I went to this Randalls today for the first time. It is on William Drive near Sun City. The store was clean and all the carts were put away. The employees were pleasant. I am not fond of this store because I choose to eat very healthy and the healthy food here is limited. They add processed sugar to all of their rotisserie chickens. They do not carry Impossible Meat tubs, they do not have sugar free bacon. Their organic section is extremely small. The Starbucks within the store is very expensive. When I commented to the barista that the prices are higher than other Starbucks, the barista told me that's because they are not a corporate store. They have a very small gluten-free section, which is nice that they have a gluten-free section at all, but it's quite small and nearly everything in it contains processed sugar. The end result is I could not get everything that I wanted at this store and will need to go shopping somewhere else tomorrow. I will not be doing my shopping at this store in the future. read more

Slightly over priced grocery store for convenience. I went in and got 2 grilled chicken legs and a fried chicken breast from their deli/ cafeteria style food 2 days ago. Not a good experience last Monday. I bought some of their in house made tropical salsa. In the past it's been good but something was off this time. I looked at the expiration date and it expired in August!!! This is November. I understand a lot of the refrigerated salsas don't have the preservatives to have a long shelf life which is ok. I'd rather not buy the ones with tons of preservatives but this store is in desperate need of staff going through inventory to check dates. Pull out all the expired stuff. This is dangerous and irresponsible to sell spoiled food. I wish I kept my receipt. Next time I won't toss the receipt because this isn't the first time we've accidentally bought expired food from this location. read more

This review is for the deli. Every time we go we are greeted with courteous and helpful service. My daughter loves the chicken strips and Mac n cheese. I was surprised about how good the Mac n cheese was. We did not care for the pistachio salad, but only because I don't like pineapple in mine. My daughter, also, didn't care for the stuffed baked potato, but she did eat it a couple days after we bought it. The seafood salad is the best thing I have ever eaten. read more

Updating -- Randalls continues to do an admiral job with the fits and starts of COVID supply fears and protocols. Having visited their nearest competitor, HEB, I can tell you they still are more likely to have the items we now find in short supply for baffling reasons. Diet Coke (due to a lack of needed items for carbonation I've heard??). Good chicken and beef at decent prices (don't forget your membership discount). And plenty of fast moving staff and sanitized carts, top notch seafood and butcher shop. I'm upping my score here especially as we see continued delays of product to shelves due to lack of production and manufactured goods entering ports or whatever the reason. This is my last review I will ever do again regarding Randall's!!! I placed my curbside order this morning at 11:17 am for a 2pm pickup. At 2:02pm I received a text they were now starting to fill order. Never received a text letting me know my order was ready to pick up. At 4:00 pm I still had not received a notification my order was ready to be pickup so I had to go into the store to find out where my order was. They could not answer why my order was not ready so I told them to cancel it and I would get my own groceries delivered. They never apologized for the fiasco. As I was walking away all of a sudden they found my order then proceeded to tell me to they substituted 2 items. I told them I don't except substitutions and to credit that amount to my debit card. As soon as I saw they put the amount of the two amount in my bank I removed my debited card from the App and deleted the App from my phone. Most of us go to Randall's for one thing -- their amazing loss leaders. Since our ongoing disasters in Texas (COVID and the recent winter storm), the usually reliable HEB options have had more and more bare shelves. Randall's usually has most everything you'd want, albeit at higher prices, unless you manage to score with their advertised specials. They also beat HEB at stocking more of the national brands, although at the expense of local brands and store label products. But there are two reasons I was impressed with this particular location on a Thursday night. First, the store was spotlessly clean -- to the point where you could smell the cleaner. Second, the store staff was beyond pleasant -- to the point where a team member offered to take our shopping cart once we finished at the cash register. read more

The pharmacy advertises they have a drive through window. However, the pharmacy staff randomly close the drive through. They shut the blinds and don't answer the bell. This is EXTREMELY inconvenient for customers who are unable to ambulate into the store to get their medicine. Either you have a drive through or not. Pick one and don't false advertise. read more

Very bad situation. The pharmacy allowed me to pick up a medication that I was allergic to. The recird showed no known allergies, which is odd because I filled out a profile with all my allergies. This is a bad thing they did, fortunately my Dr. Prior to surgery caught it before the surgery center made the same mistake. You realize you can kill someone with this protocol. No checks and balances, no urgency. Please be careful getting meds here and make sure the meds are correct. For me, I won't use them. read more

This is the newest grocery store in Georgetown. I ONLY shop their specials which makes them price competitive. Definitely have much better Floral Department.....the flowers last twice as long as HEBs. Usually not crowded except Mondays when those of us "old" folks get 10% off everything. We are new to Sun City and have shopped Randall's for many decades in Houston. We love their floral Dept. And bought our Christmas table arrangement there for this Holiday season. I am 67 years young. My back aches often and I find it hard to shop for myself at times. This Randalls has such accommodating and kind staff. The customer service is lacking in so many businesses, but not this one. Me and Mrs. Knoll, my 17 year old feline, like to enjoy a fresh cut of filet every Sunday with a big bottle of wine. And can I just say--they do not disappoint. I have been to many butchers and meat departments, but theirs cut my filet just right. Not too thick, not too thin. Perfect piece. So disappointed with the bakery. I ordered a smash cake (in person) for my babies first birthday 1 week in advance, I received a text 40 minutes before it was time to pick up that they discontinued the cupcake that was ordered. It would have been nice to know when I talked to the two woman in the bakery when ordering the cake it was not possible, or even a few days in advance. Very nice, very clean store! Always super cold though. Only thing I dislike about Randall's and any Randall's store is how they limit a bunch of stuff. I come from a 9 person household so putting a limit on what we can and get have is not ideal. Today there was a rat on their sidewalk that was alive but couldn't walk. I think the trap might have gotten it but not trapped/killed it. Was only there for about 30 mins and they had cleaned it up. Good job! Keep up the good work! read more

8-12-20 Beware of buying wine. TWICE in a row, I tried to purchase a bottle only to find they wouldn't honor the price that THEY put on their own shelves....TWICE! What do they do? Nothing. They won't honor the price that is on the shelf, even when you walk them over to the shelf and you both stare at the item and the price! I asked the cashier to tell the manager this happened twice, and she didn't do it. Now, when you patronize the other popular market on Williams Dr., if they have something marked with a price on the shelf, and they messed up, they honor it anyway. That is precisely why I virtually NEVER SHOP AT RANDALLS. Need I say more? It's a pity you can't select ZERO stars, because giving them one star is being highly gratuitous when they deserve ZERO stars. read more

Not only is this Randall's about 30 seconds from my house, they have the BEST POTATO SOUP I'VE EVER HAD. It is really hard for me to pick a favorite anything, but the potato soup they have in their beautiful, clean and consistent deli is the best I've had hands down!!
