I kept calling to at the very least let them know things didn't go well. I finally spoke to a supervisor, and after explaining the whole ordeal, he said he'd have to compare my account to the technician's story. When I called back (again, no response as promised), the supervisor refuted my version of what happened and blew me off. I was out $300, and still didn't have my vent installed.

They could have persuaded me to spend money with them fixing it, but they were very candid and advised me (against their own financial interest) that it was time to buy a new machine.
