LAWNS Tree Farm - 30 gallon Chinkapin Oak that I purchased from Terry at LAWNS

LAWNS Tree Farm

I was looking for a local tree farm and came across the Yelp review for LAWNS Tree Farm. Located…read morein Leander, the nursery has an amazing selection of trees and plants and I was able to find everything that I was looking for on my list. I am working to naturalize the yard and install more native plants that can withstand the hot summers of central Texas without requiring a lot of water. Terry, the owner, is super helpful and accommodating. He has a wealth of knowledge about which plants and trees will do well here in the Texas heat. The prices are very reasonable and considerably less than the nurseries in Austin proper. Terry had his guys deliver and install the trees and plants. They were on schedule, fast, and neat and cleaned up all of the mess before leaving. The trees have a guarantee too so I know that they will be okay or will be replaced if they don't catch on. Great service, highly recommended.

Called on a whim because we were looking for white nachez crepe myrtels and after reading the…read morewebsite's watering and planting guide it seemed almost too good to be true. But sure enough, I spoke with Terry and he was super knowledgeable about everything, answered all of our questions, and invited us to come take a look the following day. We drove out and the farm was beautiful. Bought 3 45 gallon trees and opted for their installation services. Two weeks later their crew arrived right on time (early actually) and were wonderful. Did an incredible job and now we have new trees in our backyard. This is one of those companies that makes you want to go back and buy more. Don't hesitate with these guys. It's worth every penny, and to top it all off, they are even reasonably priced.

I can't say enough good things about ATX. We lost a tree to the recent drought, and after…read moreresearching local options, visited their RR12 location. The gentleman we initially met at their yard gave a tour of all the trees in his golf cart, asked us several questions about what we were replacing, and what we thought we would like to replace it with. He stopped frequently to identify the different trees, provide all the pros and cons of each variety, whether they were particularly suitable for where we live, etc. We didn't feel rushed, he was exceptionally pleasant, and was happy to answer all our questions. When we decided what type of tree we wanted, we were handed a flag, picked out the exact tree we liked best, and they delivered it in a matter of days. Their crew was friendly and efficient, and for a reasonable fee, cut down and removed the dead tree. They were finished in no time, and left the yard looking better than when they arrived. They only asked for payment when the old tree was gone, the new tree was planted, staked, watered, and we were 100% satisfied with their work. I really didn't think this level of customer service existed anymore. Go see them. You won't regret it.

Do what you do in Texas and don't rush a conversation, the father has great stories. Both were very accommodating and worked with my budget.
