I should have read the reviews ahead of time but didn't. Charged a lot and when they messed up and dumped rocks before outdoor lighting was moved/adjusted, the business claimed they were "uncomfortable" moving the lighting. The problem with this excuse is that 1/ They never communicated that to me and 2/ That's the excuse you want to go with for not doing something you said you would? Seriously. Rocks were just dumped over the lights and no correction was made. They didn't even attempt to correct the issue but rather sent me nasty emails when I held back $300 of a $11k project. DO NOT USE THIS LANDSCAPING COMPANY. If, for no other reason, they just don't take ownership for their mistakes and wipe their hands of the entire matter. read more

D&L has done our weekly yard mowing for a couple of years now. We just had them back to mulch and take out some dead Sago Palms. They did an AMAZING job. You could tell that they took pride in their work and were so nice and kind. read more

I reached out to D&L landscaping through their website. Within a few days they contacted me and asked if I would be available for an appointment on May 15th at 12:30. On the morning on the 15th I received an email asking if we could reschedule the appointment for 1:30. My husband and I had to do rearrange our schedule, but we agreed to the change the time. Well at 1:14 we received a phone call asking if we could change the appointment yet again. We declined. read more

Erasmo Chavez came out and gave me a quote for doing regular lawn maintenance. When his crew came out they did a very poor job for just basic mowing service. I emailed his office to complain and was informed that the service was as is. The next week the crew never showed up and so I emailed and said I was done with them and not to come back. I never heard from them again. Now here's the amazing part, this was in 2016, now I am being contacted by a scumbag collections attorney from Miami. They're claiming I owe them $137 for a full month of service and have sold my account to collections! What a bunch of crooks and such a headache. Used these guys several months ago and could not ask for better service. Called D&L because we needed some emergency landscaping for my daughter's quinceañera after our guest list expanded so much that we could not use our previously planned venue. The young lady Lisa who answered the phone went above and beyond and arranged for our land to be landscaped on a short notice and was personally mowing our lawn and whacking weeds that weekend. DO NOT USE! I spent a lot of money with this company and was initially pleased. The owner said he would follow up with the progress of my new grass and make any necessary corrections once the grass had time to get established. There are several areas of diseased grass that need to be replaced. Several times I called owner to come by to look at it and let me know what needs to be done and he says "I'll come by soon" and he never does. Now he is ignoring my phone callls. I am also going to file a complaint with the BBB, and if he doesn't make this right with me I will seek legal action. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! read more

The customer service is absolutely terrible and quite frankly disrespectful. Work is "meh" at best and having talked to several of the employees about what they think about the company it is clear that they treat employees very poorly and without respect. Overall a very poor establishment, I would not recommend anyone ever use their services or seek employment with them. read more

We used this company last year. They did an ok job. My grass was mowed. My problem comes in where they have just sent us a bill for a DECEMBER AND FEBUARY yard mowing! Who gets their yard mowed at these times? I know we didn't! We have now discontinued service with them. I wouldn't recommend them at all! read more

Needed 10 yards of soil for my backyard to put sod on top of. Went out on Monday afternoon to place my order had the soil delivered first thing Tuesday morning and the crew had the soil completely spread and raked by 12:30. They even moved my four sod pallets (that I didn't buy from them) from my driveway to the backyard so it would be easier for me to put out. All around a top notch job. We've used this company for the past couple of years. Not to many complaints for mowing until 3 months ago. My pest control guy comes over to do his normal outside spraying. He always hooks up to my garden hose thats rolled up in the back. Except this time he says he cant use it because it appears as though my rolled hose had been ran over and cut up by a lawn mower. I go out and sure enough, It had been sliced up by a big blade. I called and left three messages before the owner calls me back. I explained to him what had taken place and stated that i'm sure from time to time that this happens, however, it would need to be replaced. He said he spoke to his crew and they stated that they did not run it over. Hello?? I don't use any other lawn service!! I again said that it needed to be replaced with out resolve. I finally get a hold of the lady who comes in a couple times a week to answer phones. "Lisa" says the owner will not pay for the hose because his crew said they didn't do it. I told her he will lose my business over this hose incident and to have him call me. She says, "He has better things to do then to call you back over a hose issue." I cancelled service immediately.
