UPDATE: I feel compelled to share my experience after…read morespending over $18k with US TURF. I initially chose US TURF for their prices and timely installation of their turf products. The installation process went fine for the most part, but once issues started to arise, their customer service became practically non-existent even though we are under warranty. First concern that came up is while they were installing our turf they ran into our fence with their trailer. They fixed the pickets they damaged but they broke the post for the fence in our neighbors yard. I attempted to contact them a couple of times with no luck of anyone responding back to us so we hired someone and paid them to fix it. A month later Zac responded and I told him we had to get it fixed and he never bothered to offer reimbursement. The second issue we experienced is an area of our turf started to sink. I made MULTIPLE attempts to get in contact with them and have someone come out and fix it. After a week someone responded and said they would be out to fix and never showed up- they ended up being no shows for the job three different times- we finally gave up. Most recently I attempted to contact them to have them turf a couple more areas in our yard as I need the same turf we used for our main areas and I can't get that through other companies(US TURF was our last choice at this point) We contacted them on March 20th first attempt and then personally emailed Zac the owner on April 5th with again no response. Despite multiple follow-ups about the problems, and even follow ups about giving them more business I've received little to no response. It's been extremely frustrating trying to get someone to take accountability or even communicate. This last experience prompted me to write this review as they have been so extremely unprofessional and to do it with clients that have spent so much money with them is quite upsetting. If you're looking for a company that stands behind their work and values ongoing customer relationships, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I have been attempting to get Bo and Eli at Smart Turf to honor their one year installation warranty for the last two months with no success. If you are looking at Smart Turf, you should be aware they sub-contract the installation work and these sub-contractors have no time to warrant their installations. This is not what I was told when I agreed to move forward with Smart Turf after interviewing more than five companies. Smart Turf and their installers are driving new business only and do not have the business controls and management structure to take care of warranty work for existing customers. I have had six no-shows from their installers in the past four weeks. I have made several attempts to contact the Smart Turf Corp office and have not heard back from any executive of the company. I would not do business with Smart Turf based on my very poor experience.

He sent me reminder emails to check up on the process. Their guys that installed it were very professional and polite. They sent 5 or 6 workers to do the job, and what I though would take days took one full day. They had to cut around pavers which they did expertly. The foreman and workers were very friendly, even helping corral my puppy when she ran out of the back yard. They laid the grass, applied some type of substance and then vacuumed the entire area. The final look was amazing, the clean-up was thorough, and the pricing was fair. What more could you ask for?

We have less than a quarter acre in a subdivision, but paid them for mulch, a grass cut, and lawn treatment (you get three treatments) to get rid of some problem areas. This first visit totaled over $500 (most of the cost going to the lawn treatment) The first service was amazing. The mulch looked great, I know it was hard work for those guys. Two weeks had passed and I wondered when they were coming back, they said that they were doing the rotation every three weeks. The next week comes, and I hadn't heard anything, so I inquired and they said I was on the schedule the next day. After that cut, I noticed that they didn't apply any lawn treatment, and they had missed large parts of my lawn. Travis apologized about missing the areas, but then said that the grass was too dry to apply the treatment. Understandable, but when were they going to tell me that? So I paid $48 and had to do the remaining edging and flat areas. Three weeks later, I get another cut and a lawn treatment. This time the service was spot on. ($48 all said for the cut. Lawn treatment was paid for up front) Three weeks later, due for my next cut, absolutely nothing from them. At this rate, I cut the lawn myself. I pay the $50 precisely so I DON'T have to worry and babysit I let it ride for another week until the Friday after Labor Day, I don't hear anything so I texted Travis. He said that they were closed over the labor day holiday for four days, and they were playing catchup, but they "had me for this week." At this point, it has been FOUR WEEKS with no correspondence. I'm in over $600 to this company, I've only had 2/3 lawn treatments completed, and one of the scheduled cuts I had to finish myself, and I guess I'm just out of the extra $100 or so for the services they didn't complete. Tons of other options for a lower price. I'd heard from another friend that had the service that a similar thing happened, but at that time it was a "family emergency" but no correspondence was left and they just stopped showing up. All that said, this company would be fantastic if they just kept their customers up to date and had the appropriate backoffice talent to schedule appointments, track services rendered and keep things moving.

The group came out when they said they would, and were polite, not to loud, and did a really good job of cleaning up the job site and ensuring all of our outside items were taken care. they moved a playground set twice and a large trampoline, and were very careful with those. They also did a great job for the leveling and the border. As a bonus, I had complained about some stone that was worn from the previous two winter storms, and Magnolia fixed that up for me with some mortar free of charge. We did have an issue with a visible seam in the lawn. Weston was a perfectionist, which I was happy for, and they came back to fix, and Weston came back to review. They came back to address, and even replaced a large piece of the turf to ensure it aligned better. I would recommend them to anyone interested in turf.
