It feels like the base underneath has shifted, making parts of the lawn soft and unstable to walk on. We've been trying to get this warranty issue resolved for more than six months. We were asked to send photos, which we did, and we were repeatedly told that someone would come out to fix the problem. Unfortunately, despite countless follow-up messages over several months, no one ever showed up and the issue was never resolved. We even ran into Zac by chance in person, hoping that would finally move things forward. He apologized and told us he would send someone the following week. Based on his promise, I rearranged my schedule and changed my plans to make sure I would be available. Unfortunately, once again, no one came. There wasn't even a phone call, text message, or courtesy notice to let us know they weren't coming. After that, they simply stopped responding again. The most disappointing part wasn't the defect itself--problems can happen with any project. The real issue was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through. When you pay for a professional installation, you expect the company to stand behind its work and honor its warranty. Unfortunately, that never happened. I cannot recommend US Turf based on my experience. If customer service and warranty support are important to you, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

UPDATE: I feel compelled to share my experience after…read morespending over $18k with US TURF. I initially chose US TURF for their prices and timely installation of their turf products. The installation process went fine for the most part, but once issues started to arise, their customer service became practically non-existent even though we are under warranty. First concern that came up is while they were installing our turf they ran into our fence with their trailer. They fixed the pickets they damaged but they broke the post for the fence in our neighbors yard. I attempted to contact them a couple of times with no luck of anyone responding back to us so we hired someone and paid them to fix it. A month later Zac responded and I told him we had to get it fixed and he never bothered to offer reimbursement. The second issue we experienced is an area of our turf started to sink. I made MULTIPLE attempts to get in contact with them and have someone come out and fix it. After a week someone responded and said they would be out to fix and never showed up- they ended up being no shows for the job three different times- we finally gave up. Most recently I attempted to contact them to have them turf a couple more areas in our yard as I need the same turf we used for our main areas and I can't get that through other companies(US TURF was our last choice at this point) We contacted them on March 20th first attempt and then personally emailed Zac the owner on April 5th with again no response. Despite multiple follow-ups about the problems, and even follow ups about giving them more business I've received little to no response. It's been extremely frustrating trying to get someone to take accountability or even communicate. This last experience prompted me to write this review as they have been so extremely unprofessional and to do it with clients that have spent so much money with them is quite upsetting. If you're looking for a company that stands behind their work and values ongoing customer relationships, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The team at Urban Landscape Group is phenomenal. I spoke to multiple local landscaping companies…read moreand got multiple quotes, and not only was the UGL bid lower than the others, UGL's vision was leaps and bounds more creative and beautiful. We took a very "organic approach" to managing this project. Rather than pinning down every choice in a formal proposal, one of the owners, Jeffrey, said, "Look, if you're comfortable with it, let us get into the yard and make decisions as we go, rather than creating a set plan ahead of time." He gave me a broad strokes vision of where he wanted to go with the yard, but we didn't quibble over the details. I trusted his skills and experience, so I left it in his hands. They came up with a reasonable budget, and they promised they would take good care of me, and I agreed to stay flexible to their process. I will admit, I was a little trepidatious at first (What happens if something goes wrong? Can I really trust these guys to deliver if I don't have a set plan I can hold them to?), but I was so impressed by Jeffrey's vision and demeanor, I decided to take a leap of faith (rather than demanding that every element follow a set, legally binding layout). Man, that was such a good decision. They delivered on their promise, and created for me an absolutely gorgeous yard. Totally custom, not at all a cookie cutter design. I seriously couldn't be happier. Plus, the project ended up costing about $40K less than the next lowest bid I got, and they delivered 2X what any other landscape firm offered. It's such great work, people have knocked on the door to ask who did our yard. This company really, truly cares about residential projects. A lot of landscapers see projects like ours as side work that they get to only when their large commercial clients are happy. Not so with UGL. You can tell that they really just ENJOY the process of making someone's home into a paradise. Such a breath of fresh air. Also, it's been about 3 months since they installed the yard, and they're still taking good care of us. Jonathan, their plant specialist, stopped by my house after the freeze this year to see how things were looking and give me advice on spring maintenance, and they sent someone over--free of charge--to do minor repairs on a gate they built and to re-stake a tree. They've been paid, they've met their legal obligations, but they're still out here making sure that everything is in ship shape. This is a company you can trust. I honestly wish I had another yard to landscape, just so I could work with them again.

We had received quotes from 4 different landscapers before this and none of them were a good fit. ULG had the perfect mix of professionalism, affordability, design, and experience. The design and install turned out even better than anticipated! They were quick and had great attention to detail. They are are always responsive and easy to get a hold of. They communicated regularly along the way with updates which is a breath of fresh air compared to contractors we've had in the past. A few items were damaged in the process and they quickly repaired all of them. We had a final walk through and they even took the time to fix the things we noticed so everything wrapped up beautifully. Highly recommend these guys!! 10 out of 10!

From the first conversation, it was clear she runs a tight ship as everything was professional, well-organized, and easy to communicate with. She was respectful of our process while also being hands-on and detail-oriented in all the right ways. It's always refreshing to collaborate with someone who genuinely cares about quality and customer satisfaction. Her level of professionalism made the entire job run smoothly, and it was obvious her client trusted her completely which absolutely made sense! Beyond terrible. We used a prior landscape company for weekly mowing and weeding for $50/wk. They…read moredidn't do weeding well so we switched to this company (Blooming Seasons) for $75/wk expecting a better outcome. The de-weeding was worse, and for 3 weeks straight one weed grew up to about a foot tall before we just picked it. After the 3rd time complaining they said they would no longer service our neighborhood because they can't find good help, and gave us a $20 credit. They didn't want to "hurt their reputation". But it gets worse. I'm not sure if it was malicious intent or sheer incompetence, but that last trip they clearly cut the grass far too short and basically killed it. In the photo you can see the healthy green spot where the soils is lower and got cut the right height. The rest of the yard is dead and hands down the worse house on the block. This photo is a few weeks since the prior cut and just now starting to come back. This company is the literal worst. They charge more and literally will kill your yard, then give you a $20 refund.

Their quote was the…read morelowest anyone had quoted me by far which was appealing and said they could get it down in an hour. They finished early. The lawn looked, overall pretty nice, but the mulch strip was a mess with pieces of weeds everywhere and some weeds still in the ground. I noticed some areas on the lawn where the grass was still relatively high. When I pointed out the areas on the lawn Jose became defensive and told me the lawn had been too difficult. When I pointed out the mulch strip he didn't really address it. I paid them and I'll probably have someone fix it up later today. My rating here is reflective of the poor response from Jose when I pointed out the issues. Leaving the mulch strip like this was just ridiculous and really shoddy work. I think he should have taken more time to fix the high areas on the grass. If the yard was too difficult he should have increased the price or said no to the job

I contracted Jorge for an over $4000 job and had MANY issues with Jorge. Beware!…read more Prior to contracting Jorge, I was very unfortunate to miss the following preparation steps: 1. ENJOY THE WORST POSSIBLE RESULTS Check the pictures of the final results of the contractor's sodding work. Make sure you want the same. When Jorge did the sodding in February the sod looked dead (cause most likely it was). Jorge assured me it is "hibernated" and will recover shortly. Obviously, it never happened and, two months later, most of the grass is just as dead as it was at the moment of sodding (see the pics). It's remarkable that Jorge calls it a good work! 2. PREPARE TO GET DAMAGED AND WORK INCOMPLETE He was resodding my front yard. He didn't finish his job, left garbage and damaged the front yard appearance of my neighbor's property so I got a reasonable complaint from the neighbor demanding me to fix it. Quoting my neighbor: "The landscape crew that re-sodded your front yard left a strip of plowed up soil/mud between your property and mine. It looks terrible, for both properties." On my request to finish the job and fix the damage, Jorge stated that he "miscalculated" the costs and now wouldn't fix the damage without extra payment of $400. (See the snapshot) Unfortunataly, I have already paid Jorge in full by that time since he pressed me a lot asking to be considerate and enable him to pay his people. GET READY TO BE PRESSED FOR FULL PRE-PAYMENT Further, he ignored my messages and only agreed to do it after multiple calls and messages and after I promised to remove a negative review. 3. GET READY TO SEE UNEXPLAINED CHARGES ON THE ESTIMATE Jorge added items on the estimate that were just meant to increase the bill without discussion and explanation. Thus, I got $300 "Overhead" added to the estimate (see the picture). He "clarified" it was added because my project was bigger than usual. Note, he didn't provide any discount because the project was big. On the opposite he tried to charge me more! 4. PREPARE TO GET THINGS SUDDENLY BROKEN AND TO BE CHARGED TO FIX THEM I had an incident when my irrigation very unexpectaedly got pipes broken in 3 different places and 3 sprinklers suddently got broken ONE WEEK (!) following the irrigation fix by Jorge. Since the rest of the landscaping project depended on the irrigation I was forced to get it repaired immediately. The circumstances in which the above got broken were very strange and unlikely. 5. PREPARE TO BE CHARGE EXCEEDINGLY IF THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIES YOU BADLY NEED THE PROJECT DONE To fix the broken irrigation pipes (that unexpectedly got broken one week after being fixed by Jorge) he orignally tried to charge me $450 per pipe. So, $1350 to repair 3 small plastic pipes (see pic.). 6. GET READY TO THE ESTIMAES TO GET INCREASED ~X3 TIMES BECAUSE OF "MISTAKES" In my understanding, Jorge is trying to take advantage of the situation to bill you to the max and his quote are also rapidly increasing. So, for example, in the above incident, he first quoted me $450. Then, he notified me of a "quoting mistake" demanding $1350 probably taking advantage that I wasn't present fisically on the spot and that the project was urgent. 7. GET READY TO NEGOTIATE OR BE OVERCHARGED and paying ~3 times more. Now, when I told him I wasn't able to pay this much he retracted back to $550. 8. TAX EVASION Jorge apparently tried to avade taxation on his income. Thus he is urging you to pay him in cash or in personal checks. Since Jorge demanded it, I paid him in personal checks and he never provided a receipt. 9. PREPARE FOR COMPLAINTS FROM YOUR NEIGHBORS Jorge left garbage on the neighbors lawn and the bricks uncollected (see the pictures). (I can also provide snapshots of messages from my contractor). Jorge only agreed to collect the garbage after multiple calls and messages and lots of time spent on my part. Even then, his original proposal was to leave the garbage sacks uncollected for over a week on neighbors lawn

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!…read more I hired this guy and his crew to come out and extend my driveway with flagstone as well as build up my flowerbed and add plants. Prior to him coming out I sent him several pictures of the flagstone I wanted. The pictures showed level and symmetrical flagstone which he assured he could do. Huge mistake. His crew comes out and does the worst most unprofessional job I've ever seen. The cement is cracked and chipping off. (Excuse I'm told is that it must have gotten wet.) There are pieces of flagstone that are raised out of ground more than an inch. There was an area dug of dirt where they planned on going out further with flagstone but it's clear they ran out of material and stated later that it was supposed to look like that. Not level at all. In laws and friends have already tripped over it badly. There is too much space between each flagstone. As far as the flowerbeds, I watched the crew use the same sod that was dug up from yard to build up new flowerbed instead of bringing in fresh mulch. Days later the flowerbed was already growing over and not even looking like a flowerbed anymore. I was told by owner that I just need to maintain it by pulling weeds and Bermuda grass tends to do that. What?! The plants that were planted all died within a few days too. I sent emails, texts and phone calls to this guy trying to get him back out to fix the mess. He was very hard to get ahold of because I'm sure he was trying to avoid me due to his lazy horrible work. Finally, two months later he gets me on the schedule. When he comes out his crew lowers the sprinkler head and added a few more flagstones. That's literally it. The project still looks like an amateur job. I was better off going to Home Depot and doing this myself one weekend. Instead I paid this crew almost $3000 out of my savings for this mess. I'm now having to find another company to come out and start all over. I warn you to please not use this company unless maybe you just need your lawn cut. I never write reviews but I'm livid every day I get home and see my damn driveway.
