Smart Turf installed my putting green in late February 2022 and within eight weeks, the turf started showing signs of imperfections such as wrinkling and lack of adhesion to the surface. I have been attempting to get Bo and Eli at Smart Turf to honor their one year installation warranty for the last two months with no success. If you are looking at Smart Turf, you should be aware they sub-contract the installation work and these sub-contractors have no time to warrant their installations. This is not what I was told when I agreed to move forward with Smart Turf after interviewing more than five companies. Smart Turf and their installers are driving new business only and do not have the business controls and management structure to take care of warranty work for existing customers. I have had six no-shows from their installers in the past four weeks. I have made several attempts to contact the Smart Turf Corp office and have not heard back from any executive of the company. I am so glad to have come across Smart Turf. We recently built a pool and we wanted to have a no grass landscaping. We have pavers and gravels for walkway but we have this large middle part next to the playscape for my kids. Smart Turf has competitive bids when I was looking for a company. I reached out to 4 companies and really liked our salesperson - Bo Vandergriff. He was very knowledgeable of their product. (Yes, they manufactured their own product that will be installed in your backyard.) I never felt pressured about setting my time/schedule because when I talk to him at first, our pool wasn't finished yet. He waited until it is right for us to install the turf. He sent me reminder emails to check up on the process. Their guys that installed it were very professional and polite. Bo was professional and friendly when he came out to measure and give an initial quote. He listened to my concerns, answered my detailed questions, and left me a sample of the turf I picked out. I collected 3 other quotes, but ultimately, Bo's professionalism, his follow-up, and the great deal he offered me was why I chose Smart Turf over the competitors. I was put on their schedule quickly, and on install day, there was a small hiccup when the crew's truck had an issue. Manny came out to let me know in person and the install was bumped to next day. The next day, the crew arrived on time and started working right away. They worked with my original curved design beautifully. I was ready to give 5 stars immediately after the project was complete. The guys did a fantastic job, went over and above. The timing was super quick. While I was so happy with the overall job, we are quite disappointed that the discoloration happened within 24 hours and then finding our only options t fix will cost more money. I imagined flaws to show much later, like a year or so. If the reflection from the windows impact the turf so quickly, I wish we had been given a heads up. Even though I know they didn't know that would definitely happen, I do feel that it's probably common, therefore, wish we'd been told beforehand to expect it. I would recommend, but make sure you go over potential spots in your yard that are prone to discoloring due to a reflection when getting a quote. read more

Had 4 different estimates for my backyard project and SmartTurf Artificial Grass had the best price / quality offering. They have several different styles of turf available. I chose one of the middle priced turfs and I am very happy with the result. They use subcontractors for the installation, and the salesman called to postpone the installation until the best installation company they use was available. They did the tear out of the existing "lawn" one day and did the installation the next. The finished product looks great. No more grassless patches and brown dying grass.
