This place deserves the **"I have escaped the concrete hellscape and entered the garden…read moresanctuary"** review. We absolutely LOVED Green Planet Scapes. We had just come from the big-box garden center, so walking into a nursery with **SHADE**, beautiful healthy plants, reasonable prices, and people who actually care about what they're selling felt downright luxurious. The staff was attentive, kind, and genuinely knowledgeable--and, most importantly to us, they clearly give a darn about native plants and the ecosystem they're going into. They had **actual native milkweeds for our monarchs**, including Asclepias tuberosa, and I was thrilled to see that they **do not sell tropical milkweed**. That alone tells me this is a nursery paying attention rather than just stocking whatever will sell. And the whole place just feels *loved*. There are thoughtful little details everywhere to enhance the experience. At one point, classical music was playing (seriously) while we wandered around freely (and finally not sweating) on a summer Saturday, looking at gorgeously curated plants, and I thought, "Well, I guess this is where we buy things now?" Grateful to Green Planet for saving us the gas money we used to spend driving down to Natural Gardener. Compared to the big boxes: Cooler, cheaper, kinder, more chill, more knowledgeable, more beautiful--and you're supporting a local place that actually seems to care about what grows well here. And they're tucked immediately off of 620 and hard to spot--unless your eyes naturally gravitate to 20 ft tall green inflatables? Turn immediately! You will have found your new go to plant place.

Let me start with this: don't let the husband's grumpy energy kill your vibe. If you can brush off…read morehis scowl, you're going to fall in love with this little woman owned neighborhood nursery. My boyfriend (the green thumb) sparked my interest in gardening, so we went hunting for a local nursery spot and found this gem tucked inside a charming little house. At first glance, it's like stumbling upon a hidden speakeasy...a nice spot in a very unexpected and weird location, but it works. The owner, a sweet curly-haired redhead, was all warmth and knowledge from the second we walked in. She's got it all here: propagated starter plants perfect for newbies, bigger statement pieces for indoor and outdoor gardening, succulents, pots, and even cute accessories that make you want to redecorate your patio. It's small, but it has heart. Pricing is a bit of a mystery. Very few plants are labeled, so you just have to trust her when she throws out a price. Everything seemed pretty reasonable and affordable, though. I grabbed plant food, a pot of Cuban oregano, and another medium-sized plant all for $35. I liked the price but I couldn't tell you exactly what each item cost. Personally, I didn't mind, but a little transparency would go a long way. Back to the husband: he's a bit dismissive and he scowls. He doesn't greet customers. But my two cents? Sir...If you don't want to deal with people, maybe hang out somewhere else during business hours. Customers come for the plants and the experience. Not to feel like they're crashing your day. But the nursery itself is adorable, the plants are healthy, the prices are reasonable, and the owner is a delight. There are some ridiculously cute dogs on site (just don't let them sneak out the door when you come in). All in all: a quirky, welcoming local business that deserves support. Just smile, buy your plants, and pretend the husband's scowl is part of a sitcom, part of the charm, I guess...

They have lots of PVC and accessories for lawn sprinklers. They don't have a great selection of mulch and they only sell large quantities of weed preventative permeable ground cover.
