All of their employees are very knowledgeable and equally helpful. I do like that they have a great selection of potting soil and fertilizer and they provide guidance regarding which to use based on your purchase. I've purchased a number of roses, a dwarf magnolia tree, and a number of potted plants and all are thriving. The dwarf magnolia is at least 12 - 15 feet high now. These folks are a great alternative to the big box store at the corner of 183 and Chrystal Falls.

It's the kind of place where you come for a plant and end up staying for the vibes. Think of it as a garden center meets a peaceful mini outdoor museum. Everything is beautifully organized by plant type, making it easy to find what you're looking for...or, more likely, making it easy to get joyfully distracted while you wander. There are cozy benches for daydreaming, koi ponds full of personality, colorful lily pads that pop out and wave at you, and the kind of friendly staff that actually makes you want to ask questions. Inspiration? It's everywhere. From the water features, to the whimsical sculptures, to lush displays that make you rethink your whole gardening vision. There are restrooms if nature calls, and there are plenty of delightful garden goodies to buy/take home. They have potted trees with tags that indicate hardiness in different weather conditions. Herbs and other edible plants have their own section in front of the greenhouse. Inside the greenhouse you can find indoor plants. It's a pretty nice place to walk around and explore. There's not too much shade there, however. The rectangular ponds holding the water lilies also attract dragonflies that zip around there, so it's a nice place to watch them.

When I say everything I mean everything - flowers, plants, vegetables, small trees, herbs, etc. They also have an large assortment of clay pots, gardening equipment, and plants foods. To our surprise that also has live miniature Christmas trees. You literally spend hours at Calloway's. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cost seen to be on par or better most nurseries. I spoke with Lauren and I decided on a Natchez Crepe Myrtle. We set up a time to install it and she even sent me a picture of a 45 gallon It was gorgeous. Their crew arrived right on time and were amazing. It was not an easy planting due to the mess left by the storm uprooting the destroyed tree. The crew were respectful of our property and installed the new tree properly.... deep and with native Texas soil. I have only positives about Lawns Tree Farm.

I don't know what our landscaper paid, but we paid almost $9K for these trees. Checked with both my landscaper, Pedro Abundis and Danny at Circle D on what can be done to replace the dead trees and neither company will help or take responsibility for the loss. We are just out 47 trees. Both companies do not guarantee or warranty the trees. We spent a lot of money on our landscaping with Pedro's Landscaping and the lack of customer service is just bad business. I will not recommend either company to any more of my customers, friends, neighbors or family. I am really disappointed.

We had just come from the big-box garden center, so walking into a nursery with **SHADE**, beautiful healthy plants, reasonable prices, and people who actually care about what they're selling felt downright luxurious. The staff was attentive, kind, and genuinely knowledgeable--and, most importantly to us, they clearly give a darn about native plants and the ecosystem they're going into. They had **actual native milkweeds for our monarchs**, including Asclepias tuberosa, and I was thrilled to see that they **do not sell tropical milkweed**. That alone tells me this is a nursery paying attention rather than just stocking whatever will sell. And the whole place just feels *loved*. There are thoughtful little details everywhere to enhance the experience. At one point, classical music was playing (seriously) while we wandered around freely (and finally not sweating) on a summer Saturday, looking at gorgeously curated plants, and I thought, "Well, I guess this is where we buy things now?" Grateful to Green Planet for saving us the gas money we used to spend driving down to Natural Gardener. Compared to the big boxes: Cooler, cheaper, kinder, more chill, more knowledgeable, more beautiful--and you're supporting a local place that actually seems to care about what grows well here.
