We discovered Calloway's Nursery today nestled on N. Bell Road. While this nursery has been open for over three years, it was virtually unnoticeable until today. This nursery has everything. When I say everything I mean everything - flowers, plants, vegetables, small trees, herbs, etc. They also have an large assortment of clay pots, gardening equipment, and plants foods. To our surprise that also has live miniature Christmas trees. You literally spend hours at Calloway's. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cost seen to be on par or better most nurseries. We are coming to visit when have more time to explore. A very pleasant visit. read more

I visited the nursery 3-4 times . Each time I chatted with a different sales person. Each one of them was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They were not pushy at all, explained each plant and care instructions clearly. They did not rush at all and gave enough time while answering all my questions. I definitely recommend. read more

First time customers ands we will be back! This nursery is huge with a large indoor area with indoor and some outdoor plants and a (surprisingly) large outdoor area with every plant you would ever need. They also have a great selection of pots both planters and hanging. They also have a good selection of gardening supplies; hardware and fertilizers. Their inventory is definitely a step up from what the big box nurseries offer. Surprisingly their prices are very reasonable. On this visit they were offering a Memorial Day 30 percent discount! The associates are very knowledgeable and provided excellent guidance. Not sure why we have not visited Calloway before but it now in our nursery rotation. read more

The facility is beautiful and much better taken care of than other neighboring nurseries. They also guarantee the quality of all of their plants and will replace them if something goes wrong. We have driven by so many times, finally we stopped by for the first time to pick up some herbs (for my homegrown indoor garden for cooking). I love how big this nursery is and all the selections blew my mind. They also have their own huge parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. I walked into this place feeling like a kid in a candy store or Alice in a Wonderland. I literally kept saying "awwww" the whole time I was there because everything is so PRETTY and BEAUTIFUL , especially their flower selection!!! I just wanted to take everything home. Some of the flowers they have I had never seen before and the quality or the condition of their plants/flowers are in great shape--much better than ones at big box stores. Their prices are reasonable. Since it is too early, (still winter) they didn't have much herb selection unfortunately as many died in the freeze we had; but the staff told us that we should come back in late February for them. They also do planting services where you pick your plants/flowers, they will plant them at your place for you. We were told that they have 100% satisfaction guarantee and they do a point system where every $1.00 gets you a point to apply to future purchases and you can also track your purchases this way. It is good to keep your receipts but if you don't have it just bring whatever is left of the plant and you can get a refund or exchange. The best nursery I have ever been to. They really do think of everything here. The indoor section has indoor plants, succulents, cactuses and tons of garden flower options. They also had a wide variety of quality seeds, including organic micro greens. I was a big fan of their air plants selection and happily surprised at the prices of pretty much everything, including pots. We did not explore the outdoor section but it looked fully stocked for all our outdoor planting needs. The staff were very kind, helpful and thorough. We visited Calloway's for the first time recently. It's a relatively new nursery with beautiful grounds and a good selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs and smaller trees, as well as indoor plants. There are also lots of garden supplies, pots, and fountains. We were greeted soon after we arrived by someone who had a good feel for what was available, in addition to being able to look plants of interest up on his phone. This is a big plus if you're looking for something specific. Unfortunately, the nursery's selection of plants seems to include a large number of non-native plants and trees that will not thrive in the area (in addition to the many natives they offer). Pricing is definitely on the high side; we noticed that 1 qt perennials cost about $12.99 apiece vs. $7.99 apiece at more than one local independent nursery. And many of the 4" pots of annuals were priced at $3.99 apiece. This is not a place we'd return to. read more

Terrible service. Spent months and months and months trying to get them to special order me a hibiscus and they just kept giving me the run around. Angelita the general manager told me they ordered it but hasn't shipped. I ended up calling the wholesale company Aris myself only to be told they never received an order request from Calloways Cedar Park. Don't waste your time with them. Decided to check out this new nursery location in Cedar Park. I was immediately wowed by the huge selection of vegetable plants, flowers, shrubs, seeds, and pots and accessories. It was easy to park here and load up my vehicle with the plants I purchased. I did not have time to check out the tree selection but I want to come back when I have more time. Prices were reasonable here, not inexpensive but not high either. The plants were very well cared for unlike what you see at some of the big box stores. Staff checked me out quickly despite the brisk business being done on a Sunday morning. Highly recommended. read more

I have never seen plants that were thriving more than today - one of the employees said they had been working hard to get the store ready for their pre-grand opening day! The sales team was very thorough and informative in giving me detailed instructions on how to repot my ficus plant. Went to Calloways nursery on Saturday the second day it was open. Very nice selection of plants and flowers. Not yet completely organized properly as there's no differentiation between annuals and perennials in the flower section. The tags on each plant are so small that you need a magnifying glass to read them And some are not marked as to whether they're annuals or perennials I went specifically to purchase some perennials and was disappointed with the layout. Hope they get better organized in the future. read more

Not inexpensive, but they have a high quality, large selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Flowers, shrubs, herbs, seeds, succulents, trees, gardening tools, weed killers, pots, wind chimes, garden decor etc. I like their two tier shopping carts and it's surprisingly pretty easy to move around the very large space. Staff is helpful and friendly. Pretty busy on weekends but parking lot is large and easy to get in and out. read more

The uniquely trained staff and the outstanding condition and selection of the floral plants were easily our favorite opinions of this store. We shopped in your Cedar Park store and had a very pleasant experience when we came to look at the floral section. We were elated to find such an expansive variety in your floral selection. The assortment of plants was outstanding and we were cared for by a very helpful employee from the garden building section (Andrea?) She was very professional and well-versed on her knowledge of every plant we discussed, yet she was from another department...very impressed. If we were able to budget a new garden at this point, we would have taken her up on the custom design services she described in a heartbeat! We did purchase a number of beautiful plants that are in great condition & competitively prices. Ultimately, we would love to move toward a new custom garden & floral space service. After about six months of 5X a week of constant JACKHAMMERING, the nursery is finally open! At this time of this writing (a Saturday in 4/2023) it is still a soft opening, but there are quite a few people shopping and buying. This is the first Calloway's in the Austin metro, and it's a beautiful place chock full of a wide variety of flowers, shrubs, fertilizers, pots, yard and garden decorations, and other gardening accessories. I think they have a few trees too. The place is well stocked, Texas-based, and because it's not a big box store, has knowledgeable staff that is willing to take their time with you. Minor work is continuing on the site (but at least it's not more jackhammering), and it's likely that there is probably even more stock coming in soon. read more

I was indifferent when I walked in because originally I had thought this was a nursery of many plantae options. I was on a quest for vegetable sprouts/younglings. Upon inspection, there seems to be a couple of fruit bushes maybe a tree or two and the rest is flowers and brandish house plants. Hardly any perennials, if that's your kind of thing.
