I have worked Denton lawn care for several years and I did not many complaints with their work. However, over the last year, they continued mowing my yard sometimes in the winter months even though it did not need it. They also started showing up for doing weed treatments without informing me so I could keep my dogs in to limit their exposure. Also this spring they showed up cut back weeds without informing me they were coming. I began to feel like I had no control over when they were coming or how much they charging me. I would occasionally would get large bills and with no itemezation. When I asked for itemezation, I either would not hear from them, or I would only receive partial itemezation. I'm sorry, but I feel like have right to ask what I'm paying for. Obviously we are not working with them anymore. read more

I live in the neighborhood where Denton Lawn Care is located. I have seen them out working hard and paying close attention to detail while mowing all of my neighbors lawns. I recently had part of my sprinkler system irrigation line crack, so that it was not hitting the majority of my back yard. Robbie came out this morning and within an hour had replaced the portion of the PVC pipe that was cracked, as well as adjusting the sprinkler heads to get the best coverage of the lawn. This is the second time he has saved me! Two years ago we had a lightening strike in the neighborhood that knocked out the control panel for my sprinkler system. I text him and was able to have him come out and quickly replace the control panel and get the sprinklers back on line. I feel that both visits were very reasonably priced. It was easy to schedule and he is very easy to work with. Highly recommend! read more

I've noticed as the summer has progressed the service has dropped to a sub par level. Mowing a lawn is like a commodity so it's the extra attention to detail and customer service that makes a company stand out. The owner, Robbie Denton, does not return text messages unless it is a complaint. Sadly, that has been twice now when I have asked for my lawn not to be mowed but it was anyway. His reply to the second occurrence wasn't one of a businessman who wanted to satisfy a customer. It's been around $600 dollars that I've paid so far this summer for his services. I have been using Denton Lawn Care for more than a year and continue to be impressed with and grateful for the consistently outstanding service that Robbie Denton and his crew provide. Every two weeks they mow our yard which is what we pay for but they also clear all the leaves off our deck, they trim the bushes, and generally make sure our yard looks great. And the price is very reasonable. This weekend Robbie purchased and planted new bushes for us, weeded our flower beds, and cleaned the gutters. Basically, anything yard related Robbie and his team can do and they do it well. They never do sloppy or slipshod work. The best part is that Robbie's team is very reliable which I have found is often a rarity with folks in the handyman/lawncare businesses. If you need help with a one time project like planting shrubs or trees or if you need your lawn cared for on an ongoing business Denton Lawn Care is the only Austin area firm I would recommend. read more

Robbie rescued me today after I managed to break an irrigation line in front of our house. He was immensely helpful with not only repairing the damage, but also adjusting the system for proper watering times and pointing out that one of our heads was buried under rock work. Most other companies couldn't be bothered to call me back in the time it took him to come over and get the work completed. I recently contracted Robbie to do a landscaping project to help solve a problem we were having with water eroding our crushed granite beds in back yard. Robbie did the job himself and also came up with a solution to stabilize the granite to prevent future erosion, which has been a success. We absolutely love working with Robbie and his crew! They have been maintaining our yard for almost 2 years and the guys are always professional, punctual and do amazing work. Robbie knows everything there is to know about trees, plants and irrigation so he's really able to look at your yard as a whole and determine the best course of action. I recently called him with a concern for our grass and he came in person to look at the issue and answer all of my questions.
