Nice and clean very friendly, towels are so soft we come every other week ,no wait and the price is great

my dog half dry. Top looks dry, but the undercoat is very wet still.

I love this place most of the time, and go often. I'd like to consider myself a regular, Or at least I have in the past, not so sure about the future. Today I went to the Pet Supermarket in Hutto TX. To give my dog a bath, I used to go every Saturday but have not in the last 6 weeks, because her training class schedule was too late in the day, and I had to work. So I finally took her today, and was so excited. (She LOVES baths and water, and this was like EPIC treat day for her) Its really like taking your kid to the toy store. :) Any who I walk in, and head for the baths like I always do, and get told "you have t pay first" but in a tone that was just like, accusatory like as if I was in the wrong. Apparently this had changed in the last 6 weeks, witch is fine. No biggy. But it would not have been hard to say it better. For example, "No worries, but we have changed our policies and its required to pay up front first" I mean a bit of "ACTUAL" customer service is not that hard. Any who, I'm still all happy go lucky at this point, and even go buy a couple treats while I'm at it, and I even have reward points since I go there a lot. Im feeling like I have scored! Now on to the bath. We get all settled, she jumps right in, and we start to play with the water, only to find no shampoo, no worries.. I call out to them , they cant hear me, so I tie my wet dog to the tub, and go ask for shampoo. (Anna: says "Again?!..." and proceeds to tell the other girl to go fill it up" (You see: what you get with a bath is the following: An Apron, Shampoo & Conditioner, Professional quality high-velocity dryers, towels, and treats.) The other girl (nothing but friendly and polite) comes after she is done with her customer and fills the shampoo, takes about 5 minutes, no worries, we are playing in the water having fun. I ask about conditioner, and they say they are out. Im a bit sad at this, as it leaves her coat very silky when we leave. But oh well. Ok finally bath time! All is good! Next dry time. I have an Australian Shepard, they have long fur, and a thick undercoat. But guess what, all they're dryers, have no high velocity nozzles. They are all basically glorified at home hair dryers. Now I'm super frustrated. I spend the next 35 minutes trying to dry my dog. And wile the top fur is semi dry, she is still very damp in the undercoat. Im pretty frustrated and give up. So when I go to ask for a partial refund, and tell Anna that there was no conditioner, no pressure in the dryer, and my dog is still wet: she wants to argue with me! Anna: "But I told you we didn't have conditioner" Me: "No you did not" Anna: "Yes I did" Me: "Yea, after I had already paid" Anna: (rolls her eyes) She rolled her freaking eyes at me. First she said no such thing, the other polite young lady told me when she was filling the shampoo. Now for the final Nail in the coffin. She calls for CJ (A wonderful young man, whom my dog adores, and is the epidami of professionalism and customer Service) Anna: "CJ! We have a situation" Now Im pissed! Im a situation?!??! This person lacked any customer service. How hard would it have bene to say. "Oh I'm so sorry you had a negative experience, let me see what I can do, I'll grab my manager" Nope she chose to argue and call my inquiry a situation. Now CJ comes over and is nothing but kind, tells me the store has rules and is a stickler when it comes to baths. I'm fine with that, I just would have liked to have been told that the dryer had no nozzle and they had no conditioner. By now my dog is feeding off my energy and barking and growling at other dogs. It's getting loud. SO I give up and just leave. I called when I got home and asked for everyones names. Not that it will do anything. And I don't want Anna fired at all, Just trained in how to talk to customers. There is a right way and a wrong way. Lastly, I so want to say "Im never going back" But honestly CJ's amazing attitude, and kindness and how my dog loves the store are more then enough to get me to go back. But for not a good while, it will only be for treats. I could have giving my dog the same quality of a bath I gave her there in my bath tub, with my hair dryer. Plus, as if the store would be effected my the loss of little old me. I truly feel a partial refund on the bath was justified, as we left wet. :( Oh well. Feeling pretty defeated. And very upset at how it was all handled. My dog is still wet as I type this.

This location is indefinitely Closed for self dog bathing. It really saddens me just due to plumbing issues they closed this section

Recently, the old cat groomer moved on to other pastures (we wish Kat the VERY BEST with tons of thanks for caring for our critters!) and a new groomer stepped in. She is warm and friendly and our catizens are in her capable and loving hands. I asked for specifically what we wanted (ridiculously silly lion cuts) with the warning that both cats are blind so they need a good deal of physical and audible reassurance. It's always a huge concern with special need seniors that they get the gentle, custom care they require. They came back inside calm and the cuts clean, well shaped and less than we expected to pay. She was quick and friendly. Thank you guys for continuing the high level of care we had come to expect and providing Catbus and Mushu with their ridiculous (my request!) lion cuts. Clean ears and trimmed nails for all. We look forward to next time!

If you don't know Dr Amber Breclaw you should! She's always taken such stellar care of our canine framily members. After our sweet girl tore her ACL with a holiday case of the zoomies when the boys came home from college... she was in the case. Mobile surgeon did procedure yesterday at the Paw Haven Animal Hospital with Dr B's team in charge of after care. Dr Breclaw shared the "Lick Sleeve", instead of the cone of shame. Talk about a game changer! Recovery is hard enough with weeks of rest and rehab ahead... a low riding bulldog with a cone, even harder. She's as comfortable as she can be after her procedure. Thanks Dr B for having her best care and recovery in mind. We appreciate your love and dedication to our furry framily.

Dr. Breclaw is truly exceptional and I can't recommend her highly enough to anyone looking for…read moregenuinely compassionate and thorough veterinary care. She is by far the best vet we've ever had. We've been bringing our furbaby to Paw Haven for the past few years and we are so incredibly grateful for the love and attention she has consistently shown. I tend to over worry when it comes to our dog, so I always have a ton of questions at each visit. Dr. Breclaw never rushes us and would always patiently answer every question with several options so that we can make the best decisions for our dog. This summer, our dog collapsed unexpectedly. After reviewing a video of the episode, Dr. Breclaw immediately recognized that it was likely due to a heart issue and referred us to a cardiologist, which led to the heartbreaking diagnosis of congestive heart failure. However, I would say thanks to her quick insight, we were able to get the care our dog needed to help manage the disease and bring our dog comfort instead of treating the collapsing episode as something neurological related as we had thought it was a seizure. Dr. Breclaw even followed up with us personally afterward to check on how our furbaby was doing, which honestly meant so much to us. Early last year, our dog also had surgery to remove multiple lipomas on her body. Dr. Breclaw was thorough throughout the entire process and took such good care of our baby. We always feel safe and supported in her hands. All in all, Dr. Breclaw and Paw Haven have been a blessing for our family. We couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with our dog's care.
