I came here looking some dog food for my two dogs. Thankfully they had both large and small breed available. It's your typical pet store, but this one feels more spacious. They do have a dog wash here. I haven't used it for my pets, but it was great to know they have one. The places I used to go to around the area closed and this one is super close. They seem very short staffed here. At the time I shopped here and I ready to check out my wait to check out was about 15 minutes and I only had one person in front of me. Their dog food selection is pretty much all the premium food for pets. Not that any of the kibble today is great for our pets. But they have all the dog toys and leashes on the front right. Dog food is on the back right of the store as you enter the facility. All the cat stuff is in the left. Aquarium stuff in the far back. I have been here a few times and every time I have come in I have gotten really great service and they have taken a lot of time to explain the different products and foods and treats that I was looking for for my dogs. You can bring your dogs in as well and that is nice. This is a very large store and they have a lot of different things for all different types of animals including a pet washing station. You can also sign up for rewards with them which is good if you plan on getting food from them regularly but I just go in once in awhile when I need a treat or some toys for the dogs. read more

Awesome prices and staff!! We drove all the way here to get the andis 5 speed clipper which was almost half off the regular price. Also picked up some other goodies and the employee at the cash register made sure we got to use our 15% off discount (for ordering online). She also spoiled our pup with some yummy liver treats. Because our pup was shy and did not take the treats from her she packed them to go for him - he inhaled the treats when we got in our car lol. Highly recommend this store!! read more

The staff was very friendly. However, I felt for a pet supermarket the stock was very limiting. There seemed to be lots of empty stock. I purchased something that had a 25% discount attached. The salesperson stated that promotion ended at the end of January. It was very frustrating, since those signs were not taken down being it's now the middle of February. I love this place most of the time, and go often. I'd like to consider myself a regular, Or at least I have in the past, not so sure about the future. Today I went to the Pet Supermarket in Hutto TX. To give my dog a bath, I used to go every Saturday but have not in the last 6 weeks, because her training class schedule was too late in the day, and I had to work. So I finally took her today, and was so excited. (She LOVES baths and water, and this was like EPIC treat day for her) Its really like taking your kid to the toy store. :) Any who I walk in, and head for the baths like I always do, and get told "you have t pay first" but in a tone that was just like, accusatory like as if I was in the wrong. Apparently this had changed in the last 6 weeks, witch is fine. No biggy. But it would not have been hard to say it better. For example, "No worries, but we have changed our policies and its required to pay up front first" I mean a bit of "ACTUAL" customer service is not that hard. Any who, I'm still all happy go lucky at this point, and even go buy a couple treats while I'm at it, and I even have reward points since I go there a lot. Im feeling like I have scored! Now on to the bath. We get all settled, she jumps right in, and we start to play with the water, only to find no shampoo, no worries.. I call out to them , they cant hear me, so I tie my wet dog to the tub, and go ask for shampoo. (Anna: says "Again?!..." and proceeds to tell the other girl to go fill it up" (You see: what you get with a bath is the following: An Apron, Shampoo & Conditioner, Professional quality high-velocity dryers, towels, and treats.) The other girl (nothing but friendly and polite) comes after she is done with her customer and fills the shampoo, takes about 5 minutes, no worries, we are playing in the water having fun. I ask about conditioner, and they say they are out. Im a bit sad at this, as it leaves her coat very silky when we leave. But oh well. Ok finally bath time! All is good! Next dry time. I have an Australian Shepard, they have long fur, and a thick undercoat. But guess what, all they're dryers, have no high velocity nozzles. They are all basically glorified at home hair dryers. Now I'm super frustrated. I spend the next 35 minutes trying to dry my dog. And wile the top fur is semi dry, she is still very damp in the undercoat. Im pretty frustrated and give up. So when I go to ask for a partial refund, and tell Anna that there was no conditioner, no pressure in the dryer, and my dog is still wet: she wants to argue with me! Anna: "But I told you we didn't have conditioner" Me: "No you did not" Anna: "Yes I did" Me: "Yea, after I had already paid" Anna: (rolls her eyes) She rolled her freaking eyes at me. First she said no such thing, the other polite young lady told me when she was filling the shampoo. Now for the final Nail in the coffin. She calls for CJ (A wonderful young man, whom my dog adores, and is the epidami of professionalism and customer Service) Anna: "CJ! We have a situation" Now Im pissed! Im a situation?!??! This person lacked any customer service. How hard would it have bene to say. "Oh I'm so sorry you had a negative experience, let me see what I can do, I'll grab my manager" Nope she chose to argue and call my inquiry a situation. Now CJ comes over and is nothing but kind, tells me the store has rules and is a stickler when it comes to baths. I'm fine with that, I just would have liked to have been told that the dryer had no nozzle and they had no conditioner. By now my dog is feeding off my energy and barking and growling at other dogs. It's getting loud. SO I give up and just leave. I called when I got home and asked for everyones names. Not that it will do anything. And I don't want Anna fired at all, Just trained in how to talk to customers. There is a right way and a wrong way. Lastly, I so want to say "Im never going back" But honestly CJ's amazing attitude, and kindness and how my dog loves the store are more then enough to get me to go back. But for not a good while, it will only be for treats. I could have giving my dog the same quality of a bath I gave her there in my bath tub, with my hair dryer. Plus, as if the store would be effected my the loss of little old me. I truly feel a partial refund on the bath was justified, as we left wet. :( Oh well. Feeling pretty defeated. And very upset at how it was all handled. My dog is still wet as I type this. read more

This store is one of my favorite places to shop for my pets, they have everything I could possibly need for my animals. The staff (especially Jamye, if she's there ask for her!) are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. They don't rush you and they make you feel comfortable enough to ask questions. They take the time to help you out in anyway they can, they will also order things to the store for you if they don't currently carry it (again extremely helpful!). I recommend this store to anyone who needs pets/ pet care items. read more

I don't come here that often but when I do the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. It's less overwhelming compared to other big name pet stores. They have all the essentials and it always looks so clean. I recommend it, especially when you need to be in and out of a store. The pet bath area is also pretty awesome. We have a cat so it's not something I need but the option is nice. They have tubs for small dogs (or cats) or big dogs. read more

I walk in with my dog in my arms looking for a leash as his had just been lost. I go to the area where they should be with the collars and don't see anything but the retractable ones. No big deal, thinking they must have classic leashes I go to the counter where a young man and a young lady are standing. I ask the young lady if they have leashes as I didn't see any at the area with the collars. She turns and asks the young man who simply says "yeah they're over there." She repeats the sentence, but neither offers to show me exactly where they are. Again, my dog is in my arms, I clearly don't know where the leashes are and these employees do nothing but look at me and tell me they are there. I walk back to the area, again don't see them, I then look back over at the checkout counter several times, make eye contact with the young lady, and she still just stands there. I decide to take my business elsewhere, which is disappointing as this store is closer to home and I much prefer to support small businesses. read more

So, when this place first opened (not too long ago, I might add), we loved taking our dogs there. Their dog baths were second-to-none. They always had a great selection of shampoos, consistently clean baths, fresh towels, and clean floors. Within the last couple of months or so, however, every time we have visited the baths they have been filthy. The last few times we have visited, the shampoos aren't even diluted, and we end up washing our dogs with a thick jelly-like substance. Mind you, we visit weekly. It's gone completely downhill in a matter of months, and that's incredibly disappointing. To make it worse, we just brought it up with the cashier today and he really could not seem to care less. read more

Take your business somewhere else!!!! A few days back our betta fish died of sickness so I took my 2 YO son to the nearest store to buy a new fish pet for his aquarium. First thing, since he is a 2YO, he is not required to wear a mask and you cannot always force that to the 2YO, and imagine a 2YO wanting to see fishes in the aquariums and this lady asked me to hold him because he is not wearing a mask... so I told her that we want a betta fish for our small aquarium. When I pointed her what I want, she asked the size of our tank then she said I need a bigger tank. I asked her, why is then the betta fish is inside a bottle?! As much as I wanted to buy a bigger tank from this store, the attitude I am getting while talking to her is not accommodating at all, it is either they wanted to close now or she doesn't want my business at all... every time i've come here, i've been disappointed. the staff ignore customers, and don't seem to care to even pretend to be interested in you or your dog. i've seen staffers eating food right in the middle of the store; i've had to stand at the cashier desk waiting to be helped while they had conversations. if i need help i have to flag down and get someone's attention because they're never paying attention. almost every time i've come in to give my dog a bath, they have to run to clean the bathtubs, or refill the shampoo (if they even have any). it's not like they're usually busy? can't they clean the tub after each bath? read more

We've passed this store a few times and since our family just adopted a rescue puppy, today we decided to stop by to purchase his essentials (harness, leash, collar, toys, treats for potty training). We arrived 15 min prior to the store opening, the store has a glass facade so we could see staff inside getting ready to open. While we waited the 15 minutes we were playing with our 7 pound puppy in front of the store. Once the store opened, a young woman opened the door and said all dogs were required to be on a leash. We explained we had a new puppy and we actually wanted to purchase the leash, he wasn't wearing one because he didn't have one. She then asked what else we were purchasing and we let her know, I then asked if I could run in and purchase the leash, place it on my puppy and then bring him in to purchase the remaining items. She responded, but since we were still outside, a large cargo truck passed and the noice didn't allow us to hear what she said. My husband and I both asked her to please repeat her response because we didn't hear her due to the truck's noise, and she snapped and said "BOTTOM LINE NO DOGS ALLOWED" and closed the door in our face and through the glass you could see her walk away. My family decided to take our business somewhere else. We understand that people have bad days sometimes but her attitude was disrespectful. Maybe she doesn't like her job but this deters new business if new customers, like my family and I, experience such behavior. read more

Been going here for a while as they have a rewards system where you can earn cash back and even earn a bag of free food within the same brand if you buy enough. I had bought enough bags of food to redeem my free one, only to be told that their system showed that I had no previous purchases of dog food within a certain brand. I one honest employee look into my account and sure enough, their system voided out all my previous purchases to where it showed I didn't have any, but she was willing to honor my previous purchases and wrote on my receipt the issue to be presented next time I went into the store. Went in a month later with said receipt, told them the issue with a manager present and they didn't honor my accounts previous purchases, and said terrible things about the honest employee in front of me such as "there's a reason why she doesn't work here anymore". Avoid this place at all costs as they do not value a loyal customer. read more
