PetSuites Round Rock always seems to have availability for our dog. They seem to care a lot for all the pets and the service has been great in terms of communication and friendliness. I haven't had any issues with any reservations I have made in the past, pet drop-off has been quick and straightforward as long as you have completed all the pre-work online (pet eating schedule, medication, etc). One of the main reasons why I love this place so much is being able book a reservation only a few days prior to that date and therefore not having to worry and plan months in advance to get a spot for boarding like at some other places. read more

We left our baby here the other day when we took a trip to the zoo. (Funny... no pets allowed at the zoo... I guess it's so the tigers won't try to eat them?) Believe me it was hard to leave her here... but the place is spotless, the people are nice, they are meticulous about the shot records and knowing all they need to know to do a good job. She was here for 6 hours and it was only 35$! They spend time playing with your pet... there is grooming available, and training too. They are super nice and I have to say they really seem to care. We have had nothing but good experiences here. My dog has stayed a couple of times now. It is never easy to board your dog- especially if you have a shelter rescue like we do. He is older so these transitions can be hard for him. Every time I pick him up, he is happy to see me of course but the staff always smiles when they know who I am picking up and give me a full run down on his stay. Had an emergency last minute's appointment here today, had zero problems getting my dog in for grooming. The staff was extremely polite and very welcoming. I have just relocated to Austin and was super excited to find a PetSuites close to me, as my dog was a regular at the PetSuites in Missouri City, TX and they went above and beyond for him all the time! I made a reservation for daycare prior to boarding my dog so that he could get adjusted to the new environment. The first time I made a reservation online no one reached out to me at all(which is not the norm typically from the other location), so I tried again and Cara contacted me to get set up. I arrived to drop off Champ and was sitting in the car about 10 minutes to wait for the other TWO guests to come out prior to entering. No one came out so I went ahead and got out of my car with my dog. I walk in, no one greeted me saying "we will be right with you" or anything. I stood there another 7 minutes waiting while one lady was on the phone and only ONE other employee was helping guests. After waiting almost 20 minutes for a daycare drop off I left. I notified the business at their text line to cancel the daycare reservation and the reasoning, and even after noting my dissatisfaction along with my extensive service to PetSuites, no one contacted me at all to rectify the situation or try to mend the concern. Too many places in Austin to drive 15 minutes for my puppy and no one can even provide good customer service. I guess these are franchised places because Missouri City location definitely is not like this. :( read more

My girlfriend and I recently left our two pups here for 5 days while we were out of town. Prior to this we had never brought the pups to boarding, but once we saw the great reviews and pictures we decided we would give it a try. I don't know much of what goes on when the pups are there so I can't speak for that experience, but I felt a little disappointed when dropping off the pups here. Staff was great and showed the pups lots of love, but I couldn't help but feel like this was just "the pound" for a week. Unless the pups are in the luxury suites that's all it really is. I'm sure the staff does better than those at the pound, but the cages are nothing special and for the price I thought it would be better. The play yard is pretty decent and glad they get taken out, but with a name like "Pet Suites" I was expecting something nicer. The barking in the dog areas was wild when we dropped them off, which makes sense, but again just have that feeling like we were paying to drop them off at the pound. My girlfriend and I had an expectation that the rooms would be more private and less prone to burdens from the noises of other dogs. Overall decent place, but understand what you are getting with each the luxury and classic rooms. read more

Where do I start? So back story - my partner and I (plus our fur baby, Kash, of course) have been a customer with PetSuites since March of 2020. We started out using the PetSuites in Houston but then relocated to Round Rock, which we are so very grateful of the convenience in locations. We literally love EVERYTHING about PetSuites. Not to mention, they made Kash feel like so loved and important on his birthday. This location specifically is amazing - we are always greeted upon entering, they make a true effort to remember & get to know each dog/family, we absolutely love the text updates, and Taylor (if you're reading this, you are amazing!) she is just great at her job and a wonderful groomer - she achieved the exact look we wanted. We also love the little card Taylor gave us after the visit with grooming recommendations. Oh, as far as PetSuites in general, we have never taken Kash anywhere else for grooming. It is literally a one-stop shop! The pricing is affordable as well, which we love. Every employee that works the front desk is also amazing, they're all personable, easy-going and very informative. (yes, I have more to say...lol) Lastly, after taking a tour, you can tell they take great pride in keeping this facility clean, up to par and following COVID protocol of course. I've made many of posts on Facebook (and Kash's Instagram) about PetSuites because we love it that much. I have to echo the sentiment expressed in the other reviews for PetSuites Round Rock: the staff truly cares! Ella was so great about communicating with me through text and phone calls about how our cat, Leeloo, was doing throughout her stay. The staff was very open about showing us her living quarters and made sure to ask us if we had any special requests. Leeloo was in the suite (by the window as we had requested) right next to a sweet girl with a very similar name and a mix-up was made with their dry food (they coincidentally shared the same brand of dry food). I not only got an immediate phone call explaining this mistake, but ALSO had a week's worth of wet food as well as an entire large bag of Leeloo's dry food bought for us, free of charge, to make up for it and to make sure Leeloo was well fed while she was with them! I was shocked when we picked Leeloo up and was offered all that food to take home. I was blown away by their honesty and kind gesture. Leeloo seemed to have really enjoyed her time there, and it was clear that the staff was attentive to her needs and provided her with affection even during the busy holiday season. I cannot day enough good things about petsuites! We take our 5 month old pup for puppy preschool so he gets a little extra love while we're at work. The staff here are tremendous. They go above and beyond and are always kind. They know our pup by name and are always so excited when we bring him in! Ollie also goes nuts when he knows he's going to petsuites. This is my first time boarding my 2 cats at Pet Suites. The customer service from the beginning to end has always been pleasant over text and in person. I really liked how I was able to text them my questions and they would reply reasonably quick. I would suggest bringing your own pet food as they can supply it but at an extra charge. My cats only boarded for the day so I wasn't too worried. They advise me to separate my cats in their own suite next time as the older cat didn't get along well with the younger one. I appreciated the feedback because I thought they would have been fine sharing a suite. I will definitely try them again next time we go out of town. The place looks clean and well taken care of. My anxious and shy 80 pound two year-old is not great about separating from me, but once he is settled he has a great time at playgroup here. Everyone we have interacted with has been terrific, helpful, energetic, and most Importantly cares about the dogs. The facility is clean, modern, and believe it or not is doesn't smell like dog or disinfectant. The playgroup area is large and well supervised. My dog comes home tired and happy. A special thank you to Rachel. She took extra time with us on our first day and has been so helpful (even on the third phone call) to a worried fur-momma. I was a regular, bi-weekly client with my two bulldogs, until they hurt my Princess. She came home limping, which escalated to an ER visit and almost a surgery. Besides all of the stress and pain to my baby girl, we spent more than $1,000. We tried to talk friendly to the owners, but no reply was ever received and then when we did finally get a quick reply, it was extremely rude and said that if I wanted to talk to them to keep trying to call; and that over the phone, nobody replies). We had a great experience here with our dog. We needed a boarder on fairly short notice because our normal place was closed temporarily. The staff was very friendly and took good care of our pet. They also gave us some good info on how she adapted to the new location. Our dog suffers from some social anxiety, and they did a great job of observing her and making note of how she was reacting. I usually don't leave reviews but hoping this can reach some fellow anxious pet parents - I booked this place for my cat and two dogs very last minute , I looked at some of the reviews and was extremely nervous about leaving them here to say the least especially because one of my dogs walks on two legs and has special requirements . I came in for a tour of the facility to ease my mind the day before their stay and the manager was welcoming and very informative, she also had no issue letting me tour the entire kennel and cat room, for a dog kennel it was clean I won't say the best, as there was some cages with dogs in it with the bottom of the kennel flooded from just cleaning and it smelled like pee but once again it's a dog kennel and not the worst I've seen. They have an online app that made it easy to make my pets a profile and upload their documents before their stay. Onto the day of check in- the kennel staff seemed very uncoordinated all together, when I arrive I was helped in a timely manner the main issue was when it came to me reviewing the accommodations for my disabled pup the kennel receptionist told me that she wasn't sure if he could board and she could have me sign a health agreement contract, go over it when her manager got there that day and call me to come get him if she's not okay with it. I was extremely confused considering I had mentioned it multiple times to the manager and the staff that he was disabled and had accommodations, I reiterated that the whole point I'm boarding them is because I can't come pick them up that evening if the manager decides that my 10lb, well behaved chihuahua, was too much to handle with 2 legs. I then stood there for 15 minutes while the receptionist ran around like a chicken without a head trying to "verify" that i did in-fact come in for a tour and it was approved by the manager. I have no complaints for the stay and they had a quick response time when I called for updates. When I really got a bad taste in my mouth and realized how chaotic the kennel was Is check out- I arrived and was told a total way above what I had originally calculated-none of the charges were verified and they didn't change the fact that I brought my own food and didn't have meds which is an extra charge, the receptionist was quick to correct the mistakes and they promptly brought out my cat to the lobby filled with barking dogs. They were going to help me get her in the car as soon as they brought her out, considering it was 100° outside I made the call to wait for my dogs to come out which was apparently a good choice because it took them 20 minutes to come out with my two small dogs with minimal belongings. While I was waiting I asked one of the staff if my cat could wait in her kennel in the cat room because it was sound proof and quiet and she was getting very worked up hanging out in the lobby with dogs barking at her, I was told no because the front desk girl was going to "be a minute" with the client she was currently checking out. During the 20 minutes not one but TWO kennel technicians came out asking if I had been helped yet and I had to reiterate I was waiting on my dogs and tell them their names all while I'm trying to calm down my cat who is screaming at the top of her lungs. Very uncoordinated for a kennel this big, I am very thankful that the manager was willing to accommodate my special needs dog but the manager was probably the only person who even showed a bit of customer service and didn't treat me like a bother. As someone who has worked at an animal kennel/ hospital before I don't recommend this place for long term trips or for anxious/difficult pets. For a weekend trip/easy pet it may be considerable. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! On paper this place seems like the "perfect" boarding location with all of its pictures, activities, etc., however, today was our first time boarding our dog and it was the worst boarding experience we've ever had. The second we walked in we were asked for vaccination records even though we uploaded them way before the visit. While I scramble to look for each piece of paperwork for proof, one of the staff members behind the register says they did receive the vaccines and they were on file after 20mins which wasted of both of our time. Shortly after, the dog trainer came out and was super welcoming and friendly to us and our dog. While trying to get comfortable with the new environment our dog was very nervous and had a rear end accident on the floor. After that, we were told our dog couldn't stay because "he had some kind of stomach virus". KEEP IN MIND....weeks/days/minutes before arriving to this place our dog had been PERFECTLY FINE peeing,pooping,playing,etc. We were also told that since "we aren't equipped to handle a stomach virus" then we needed to take our dog (last minute) to a different boarding location. After we heard that information we left UNBELIEVABLY disappointed and angry. The fact that they wouldn't be able to comfort our pup and take care of him just concerned us even more for the other pups currently staying there and that will be staying there in the future. JUST IMAGINE..if they "aren't equipped" enough to handle a nervous tummy ache, how in the world would they be able to handle a dog severely hurt or a dog choking on a toy? read more

Swung by today and dropped off our 100lbs Dogo for a FREE 5hr evaluation. They even gave us a report card when we left. Savannah gave us a tour of the facility. Everyone so far has been patient, knowledgeable and courteous. We'll be using them much more in the future. read more

I Have only had good experiences with taking my puppy there! He is a large German shepherd and can be a lot but they have made us feel great about keeping him there. He came home super soft and with much less shedding over the next couple weeks (we did opt for furminator). Booking process was quick and simple, however pricing and facility "requirements" are not fully transparent. They require you to pay for a "silver" upgrade on the departure day. I was only told this when I called to ask questions. Not sure why they don't just adjust their base price to reflect the true/accurate nightly cost. My biggest complaint is that they did not accept the vaccination record provided for the Influenza vaccine. This is actually the first place I've ever contacted that required it (even though only 1st dose is needed prior to stay). The girl I spoke with called the record I provided a "handwritten" form and suggested I could have falsified it to reflect a vaccine that my dog did not actually receive. Not sure of the people that they are used to dealing with but that was just an insulting and ridiculous accusation! Note, the "handwritten" proof of vaccination is from Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP). I was told to go to my Vet office to request a more official vaccination record or ask them to contact PetSuites to verify the vaccine. When I suggested PetSuites contact my Vet, I was told that they could not as it was a violation of privacy. Does my dog have to sign a HIPPA form now too? I was told they'd refund my $25 deposit, but of course has not. I would stay clear of this business as there are many other options in the area! I picked him up June 6th at 2:00 and he was literally foaming out his mouth and wheezing for air. Panting uncontrollably!! To which they asked me has this ever happened??? He was in the air conditioning with water the whole time so we don't know what happened. They just kept telling me that! I panicked and sped home to give him a cold bath. I'm crying and speeding and he's fighting to cool down and falling out. It took me about an hour to get him cooled off. I'm letting my husband handle the monetary part. We liked to share our Bad Devastating experience we have with this boarding hotel (Pet Suits Hotel in Round Rock TX); we want to make sure you think about before you book this hotel for your pets. On December 29, we dropped off our 3 dogs Chihuahuas at this location (Chloe , Channel and Luna) , all in good health and physical condition. On December 31 afternoon, we received a call from the Hearth of Texas Veterinary Specialty hospital, and we were informed of the following: Quote : Chloe came into our hospital in a severe critical condition, and we have been performing CPR for 10 minutes. The doctor discussed that with CPR, there is only a small chance of getting dogs back , since she came in decease condition with a "too low" temperature and rigor mortis setting was concerned that the chances of getting her back from would be 0%. I get in shock asking myself why the Pets Hotel don't communicate to us this emergency. Immediately I tried to call the facility a couple of times with no respond, we texted them to call us, and we did not get any respond back until we received a call after couple of hours from the general manager informing us what we already knew, he told us that our Chloe had died. This person never gave us clear information about what had happened with our Chloe. We asked him several times what happened with Chloe and his response was: I don't know exactly what happened, because I wasn't there and point out that one employee called him and found the other 2 siblings licking or attacking her on the floor. I asked the manager specifically if he know for sure the other siblings attached Chloe and he respond don't know, I again ask if Chloe has some blood or any signal of being attacked and he respond with no exact answers. He asks me if Chloe have or suffer from any health conditions, and he recommend us to do a Necropsy to find out the cause of death . At that time Because he couldn't handle the information responsibly. We had to live that anguish of not knowing exactly what happened, until we returned on January 2nd. That day we went to the Hospital and the Vet explain us in detail and show us very graphic pictures she takes on Chloe's death body when came to the ER had been attacked to death by our other dogs. Is unacceptable that they kept us in a situation without knowing of what happened to our Chloe. According to the Pet suits employee who took Chloe to the Hospital told the Vet. That was found the two siblings dogs charging and attacking her lifeless body. How is it possible that the General Manager who called us from the hotel did not know that she had happened to her under the Pet suits WATCH That's what we paid for some one take care of our pets when we want to enjoy traveling in the holydays or any other vacations. More about this situation that could be prevented if they have a better supervision of all boarding dogs and the fact that is no way in an emergency, they can have on place an effective protocol that could save our dog life and we don't need to pass to this heart-breaking devastating situation we don't what anyone Dog and Family passing to this horrible situation. On addition of this situation, we received one of our other dogs very sick from this boarding facility and need to bring her to the ER for emergency treatment to be in a stable condition. Next time we need to bring our dogs to a boarding facility will be to another facility for sure and follow up our pets are doing good and being taking care in a safety matter the life of a Dog that is like a Child for the ones to have the blessing honor to have them. read more

I do like this facility. My dog, enjoys coming here. The only issue I have is the lack of communication. On our first day, the front desk person told me that in order for him to be able to participate in DayPlay, he'd have to go through an evaluation and that they'll send me photos and updates if he passed or not. I didn't receive anything. When I went to pick him up, the front desk couldn't even tell me how he did. I had to text their text line to follow up to see if he passed and I finally received a text and pictures of him. We stopped going for a little bit, but we just starting going in for DayPlay again. He was pretty anxious when I dropped him off, so I gave it a couple of hours and texted the text line to see how he was doing, but I only got a text from their groomers asking if I wanted to add services. I repeated my question and never received a text back. So that was kind of disappointing. I definitely wish that they had public webcams available like other locations do, but you can only hope. read more
