We went to a couple of places, one even where you can watch on an app that was closer to us, but when we went to visit the place, we did not like the "vibe" of the place. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off. Look no further for a great place for "doggy day care", Pam and her team will take VERY GOOD care of them, like they were one of their own!!!

Pam is hands-on, attentive, and clearly dedicated to their care. We'll definitely return for future stays--highly recommend! Our 3 Schnauzers also get groomed by Roxanne here, and we couldn't be happier with that experience, either!

We just moved here 5 months ago and after doing some online research found this animal hospital. We've had nothing but positive experiences - from check in staff to the vet techs, and docs. My dogs absolutely love Dr. McJett. The pricing is comparable to other places I've been and the service is top notch!

We are now 1 week shy of a year ago when this veterinary clinic murdered my dog!!!…read more If you LOVE your pet like a family member and NOT just a dog please DO NOT ever take them here. My dog unexpectedly became ill after his previous annual assessment of being normal. We brought him there 6 times & spent more money on him for diagnostics than any other of my dogs BUT STILL never got a clear answer of what was wrong. THEY SENT my dog into respiratory distress, I'm a nurse (completely competent to count, respirations )and I called them with my dogs respirations rate And they told me I was exaggerating and I did not need to bring my dog in, but I insisted, and when I brought my dog in the vet, tech took one look at him, looked at his blue gums and hastily grabbed him from us to be evaluated instantly by the vet. He was put on oxygen and at that point he was oxygen dependent due to hypoxia. still the vet walked in and said let's put them on pills and do more imaging. My dog have been suffering for 2 weeks due to the incompetence of this vet. I couldn't do it anymore. I would love to go into more details, but I am so traumatized by the horrific experience and the traumatizing death of my dog. I just can't do it in one day. I will update with more information. PLEASE, if you truly love your PET DO NOT take THEM there. They're all about MONEY and fresh GRADS THAT WILL be GONE in LESS than 6 MONTHS!!!!!.

I cannot rave enough about Action Pack Liberty Hill. We have 2 great danes that are used to having…read morefamily home with them. We do have to travel frequently and Action Pack has become a 2nd home. We no longer live in Liberty Hill (we actually live 2 hours away, and do the drive and plan all flights around ensuring we can bring our boys here). One of our very first stays our older dane had a health emergency, we didn't even see the issue prior to dropping off and within a couple of hours we got a call from one of the staff and they managed that visit end to end for us. They got him to an emergency vet, stayed with him for awhile, then once he was hydrated and well did the driving to pick him up, and then adjusted his care for extra attention once onsite. Our two boys are vastly different in age and play needs, and pretty joined at the hip - they modify the play for our older boy, even when they have a yard full of dogs, they can tell when he's reached his limit and just needs quiet. They are so attentive to know that our younger boy was struggling without the other and got them back together again. Here we are 2 1/2 years later of using them soley and when we arrive our boys eagerly hop out of the vehicle and run in and then anxiously await to go back to play. We have used other places and have watched our dogs panic and put the brakes on and refuse to go through the door. They have absolutely never hesitated here. So grateful for the care and attention they place on our fur family!

I am extremely disappointed with our experience…read more Our dog is a very anxious dog, but she has never shown aggression toward people or other animals in our care. After boarding her this time (we've been customers there for years), we were told she displayed behaviors such as growling and was no longer welcome to return. What I find most concerning is that this facility also promotes dog training services, yet there was no effort to discuss what may have triggered her behavior, offer recommendations, suggest training options, or work with us on a plan for future success. Instead, we were simply told not to bring her back. I fully understand that any boarding facility has the right to make decisions based on safety concerns. However, anxious and fearful behaviors are not uncommon in boarding environments, and I expected a business that offers training services to have a more knowledgeable and supportive approach. As pet owners, we trust boarding facilities to care for our dogs during what can already be a stressful experience. Rather than feeling supported, we left feeling judged and dismissed. If your dog struggles with anxiety or fear in unfamiliar situations, I would encourage you to ask detailed questions about how those behaviors are assessed and managed before booking. We'll gladly be taking our business elsewhere and won't be back with our current dog or any future dogs.

Extremely Disappointing -- Poor Communication, Hidden Fees, and Terrible Customer Service…read more Pointe 183 Vet used to be a great neighborhood veterinary clinic -- reasonably priced, conveniently located, and staffed by veterinarians I trusted. I especially liked Dr. Anderson and recommended her to many friends and neighbors. Unfortunately, since Dr. Anderson has been on leave, things have gone downhill. While I still believe the veterinarians are good, the customer service, communication, and overall management of this practice have become unacceptable. My most recent experience was the final straw. 1. Broken Promises and Zero Follow-Through. On Friday, I requested pricing for a one-month versus three-month supply of my dog's medication, along with a less-messy alternative that would be easier for my husband to administer. I was promised a response within 24 hours. Nobody called. When I followed up over the weekend, I learned the veterinarian wasn't even working. Why promise 24 hours without mentioning that? 2. Incomplete Information and Repeated Requests. On Monday, I finally received pricing but NOTHING about the alternative medication I had specifically requested. Apparently, communication between the front desk and veterinarian had fallen through the cracks yet again. How many times should a customer have to repeat the same request? 3. Outrageous Pricing. The clinic quoted $95 for one month or $285 for three months of medication. H-E-B quoted just $27 for one month. I understand veterinary clinics may have higher costs, but that difference is ridiculous. 4. Unnecessary Prescription Hassles. I requested a prescription to fill elsewhere and was told they could only provide a hard copy, not send it to my pharmacy. I explained that my dog had only enough medication left for Monday morning and needed it filled that day. They promised to mark it urgent. Given their track record, I wasn't willing to wait around for another broken promise. 5. A 45-Minute Wait for TWO Written Prescriptions. I arrived around 1:00 p.m., repeated my request AGAIN, and waited 30 minutes before John appeared with only ONE prescription. Other customers were being helped while I waited, and several pet owners were also waiting over 30 minutes to pick up their animals. I had to request the second prescription AGAIN and wait even longer. 6. No Answers About Medication Differences. The prescription John brought out was for a different concentration (250 mg versus 100 mg) than what I had purchased at the clinic two weeks earlier. When I asked why and whether that changed the amount my dog would need, his response was essentially, "I don't know, maybe it's cheaper." He made no effort to verify the answer with the veterinarian. That is unacceptable when discussing a pet's medication. 7. Inappropriate Conversations in the Lobby. While waiting, I witnessed a veterinarian openly discussing another customer's dog's breathing problems and potential death in front of everyone in the lobby. Regardless of the circumstances, sensitive medical discussions should be handled privately, not in front of other customers. 8. Surprise Fees With No Disclosure. After all this, I was informed I owed $20 for written prescriptions! At NO POINT during my multiple calls or in-person visit did anyone mention this fee. Customers deserve to know about charges BEFORE they're incurred, not at checkout. 9. Management Couldn't Even Follow Through. After expressing my frustration, John assured me the practice manager, Brooks, would call. That call NEVER came. Yet another broken promise and another example of the complete lack of accountability. Final thoughts: This wasn't one isolated mistake. It was a series of failures involving communication, responsiveness, customer service, transparency, and basic operational management. Customers shouldn't have to: - Repeatedly explain the same medication request. - Chase down information promised within 24 hours. - Discover on their own that the veterinarian is unavailable. - Wait 45 minutes for written prescriptions. - Receive inconsistent medication information without an explanation. - Find out about additional fees only at checkout. - Be promised a call from management that never comes. I genuinely liked this clinic and still respect Dr. Anderson. But good veterinarians cannot compensate for a poorly managed practice and staff who repeatedly drop the ball. I used to recommend Pointe 183 Vet without hesitation. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this place.
