Told them I didn't want to spend more than $200 total but was ok spending that much if both saws ran like near new again. They verbally said total should be around $125 unless something was really bad. So 3 weeks after they said they should be done they said one was finished. It's total was $98. Then I'm told they could work on the other saw because the handle was broke so I agreed to let them fix it. No biggie as handle is under $35. When that saw was done it was $132. Here's where it gets good. The one saw is missing the oiler screw that I thought they were going to fix. Nope. The pull rope doesn't go all the way back in. Didn't look at that either. So WTF did they do? They "looked" over the entire saw and changed the spark plug and gas filter. That's it. So for not $125 but for $230 I basically got a new handle. I can change the spark plug in 2 minutes myself. And how the crap does a chainsaw repair shop NOT see the oiler screw completely missing, do they not test the saws for proper lubrication? I for sure thought they changed a carburetor (or both). Or at minimum had to adjust the carbs. Not sure how one can charge that much to change 2 spark plugs and 2 gas filters on a freaking chainsaw with a straight face.

Took our John Deere zero turn mower in for warranty work. We have less than 30 hours on it…read more Only 3 years old still under warranty, we only use it to mow about 1acre of lawn. Used it max 6 times. They would not warranty it saying that the air filter was dirty and it caused it to blow a hole through the engine. They want almost $3000 to repair. Absolutely insane. My husband cleaned the mower after every mow. They do not work for the customer at all. The idea that a dirty air filter could blow a hole through the engine is ridiculous. (the filter was only a little dusty not plugged. You can still see the white pleats). They only want to charge you. It is a total rip off. The mileage led went out last year and they told us we could leave it there for a few months because the parts were on back order. So we told them next time. So now it's next time (still under warranty) and they are saying we denied service. Hello they didn't have the part, not to mention they are an hour away and we have to tow the mower there each time. They have no concept of customer service Their idea of customer service is to not honor the warranty and give you an estimate for more than half of what it would cost to buy a new mower. I hope John Deere takes care of their customers because united Ag and Turf in Taylor does not. Oh and they just sent this "We are going to go further in as well. It will take some time as we must disassemble the engine." Like I trust them?

Or I would spend a day just using a push mower... so I decided it was time to get a seated mower. I've read a lot about zero turn mowers and felt I was ready to make the purchase. Through my search online, I came across Reid's Triple T and was hoping to find out as much information online before making the trip out. It turned out to be even easier than that. I contacted them by email and they confirmed they had the exact zero turn mower I was interested in as well as the add-ons I wanted. Without even having to talk to anyone on the phone, I was given a quote. Now, I don't have any means of hauling something like this and thought it would be easier for them to install the extras I was ordering. Fortunately, they knew someone who would transport the mower and for a reasonable fee, they attached the extra equipment I ordered. I was ready to make the purchase; I sent them the documents they required and I was able to sign them and email right back to them. Fortunately, I can sign electronically on my computer, but for those who can't, it might be nice if they used Docusign (but they might actually offer that). I spoke to someone over the phone to do my payment and in just a few hours... I had purchased my new mower and arranged for delivery. They gave me an approximate date for delivery and today it arrived... as promised. I am very happy with the service at Reid's Triple T. In fact, another person from this store emailed me to ensure I had been contacted after my initial email inquiry. They responded to all of my emails immediately and instead of what I thought would take days and ultimately result in me driving to the store (it's far away from me), I never left my house other than to greet the person who delivered the mower. Great prices, incredible customer service... I wouldn't hesitate to use them and if you know of another store that has the same product... you want to come here simply for the customer service. They way they treat their customers is how you would expect if you were family! I really can't say enough great things about my experience with this store and I know I will return. Thank you to Steven Jennings who helped me through this entire process.
