The store manager today when I asked him a question about gas mowers -he answered me like I was a Stupid Women - I then ask him another question and stopped in mid stream because the look on his face was really you are asking me that!!!!! Again Stupid women. I found the item I needed for waterhose ( 2nd question) at Walmart. The gas self propelled mower will be bought elsewhere. I am a widow and know what I needed and wanted - don't need anyone to talk down to me or act like that. He was too busy talking to employe when I walked in to acknowledge a customer walked in store. Could hear conversation not work related. Probably will not go back to that store. read more

Manager or shift leader today had a bad day or something came in asking for a pressure washer fitting that i needed but he kept insisting that we don't have any even tho online it said it was in stock , clear dude didn't know what he was talking about so i decided to ask someone else .. he comes back again and presses me about asking his cashier for help because apparently he was the only one there and said again that they don't have it , i had to look for it myself and did . What guy doesn't like to look at all the great tools at this power tool superstore? If you try looking for name brands, then you're going to be disappointed. They claim that mist everything here is made for them to the same specifications as the major name brands. The name implies the reality that the "freight" is shipped to the stores from the "harbor" where it arrives from Asia where it's made. But the name brand stuff is usually made in Asia as well. The good news is that you will save 20%-30% off the prices of comparable name brand tools and equipment. There is a very large selection and they have about anything you need for any home improvement project. read more

I don't recommend buying anything online from HarborFreight. I ordered a couple of wheels and tires to be shipped to me and have tried to check the status of my order numerous times using the link they provided on the confirmation email. For days now when I click on the link all it says is "Sit tight we are updating". There is no way to check your account through their website either. I guess their web developer is about as reliable as their products. Never again!! read more

I called to find out if they carried a specific tool. The person I spoke with said they were busy and suggested I check online. However, instead of answering my question, he proceeded to tell me about all the tools they have, without identifying what I was actually looking for. The amount of time he spent giving me information I didn't need could have been used to simply find out if they had the tool I wanted and provide a yes or no answer. I specifically asked, "What is the lowest-priced Dremel you have, and what does it come with?" Instead, he focused on explaining that Dremel is a brand and took the time to discuss the all the various brand names they offer and the differences among them. I got off the phone without knowing if they would have what I need, so I've decided to go to Home Depot instead. Could have been an easy sell if he would have just answered my question from the start. read more

This is a solid hardware store that carries most of the tools you would need but unfortunately, its biggest failing has to be the checkout. it takes forever some times and man I'd love a self check out lane. Parking is pretty easy especially now with the Dollar store leaving. read more

This location has been open 2 months and I just found it, friendly people and the store is better organized than the one on Parmer. The only reason i'm not giving them 5 stars is it took forever to get checked out because corporate had new checkout systems installed 2 weeks ago and gremlins are inhabiting their new system, saw several people get mad and leave....the employees seemed to be making a real effort to get people through as fast as possible, they maintained professional courtesy even when things were not going smoothly. This location may be too convenient for me and I may spend too much money in here....they must have had a really good sale on all kinds of hydraulic jacks...2 out of 3 people in line had one or more in their shopping cart. read more

I've been going to Harbor freight for years. I am always satisfied with the customer service. Today was an exceptional experience. I had to buy a lot of things and some large items, I talked with the supervisor Jean and she pulled them aside and even closed down the register so that I did not interfere with the other customers because I had a very large order. Reina was there to help every step of the way. These two make a great team... And harbor freight tools is lucky to have them. Highly recommend you go to this location. read more

Great Place for quality tools at a very inexpensive price. They have all sorts of coupons available for all your savings needs. The funny thing about this store is i come here with my wife who is the actual carpenter, they walk up to me an i point right at her and say talk to her she's in charge of the tool selections. They move right over and the help carries on and always gets her the right tool for the job. read more

Great store. The employees are always very friendly. So far, everything I needed to purchase was in stock and the coupons always work. The store is always clean and neat. Sometimes the checkout lines are long and slow but that's a small price to pay for a small price to pay for tools. read more

The supervisor on duty this morning was EXTREMELY rude! I'm not sure if it was because I'm a woman or if he was just having a bad day but he seriously needs to learn how to treat and speak to customers. I don't mind waiting for help...I've worked retail. But don't make me feel like I'm bothering you or taking up your time. Got so upset, I left without buying what I needed. We won't be gracing that store again. read more

Great Staff. Very helpful staff to go along with quality product. Low prices for quality tools. The Inside Track Club Membership is so worth it to get savings on hundreds of items in the store. I bought a band saw and got the extended warranty so I never have to worry about it crapping out on me cuz I can just take it in and they'll give me a new one, no questions asked. Just bought a couple of things. Clerk didn't have change in the drawer. Took Manager Chris 10 minutes to respond to the clerk's call for assistance. Another 5-10 to get change. Clerk apologized but Manager Chris did not. When I made the statement that an apology would have been nice he gave me a sing-song "sorry". I do not think this will be my go to HBF in the future. Pretty stoked that a Harbor Freight opened closer to the house than the one on Parmer. Been coming to this one for a few months, good selection, great staff and prices that are hard to beat. The store is clean, well lit and has pretty much anything you could want for the home mechanic/diy person. The manager Ron is a cool dude, we talked about cars today, friendly and helpful. I have always had good experiences with all the cashiers and staff, all super friendly and extremely helpful. If you shop here regularly it's a good idea to get the ITC membership, I have saved the membership cost on just a few items so far. Harbor freight has some cheap tools that aren't as good quality as snap on etc, but they don't cost as much as snap on. A lot of their stuff has improved dramatically over the years. Most of the stuff at harbor freight is more than enough for the home mechanic, and many professional mechanics use them also. I have tools from all brands, Snap On, Proto, Craftsman etc and I have Harbor freight stuff mixed in, never had a problem with them. Go check them out and compare to places like Home Depot etc, the prices are way better and the quality is the same. You do have to give a phone number etc, for the warranty, but that really doesn't bother me. read more
