Tonight was terrible. Lately, Barley's has only had 3 or 4 of their advertised micro beers. But tonight, only 2 available. And, one was quickly gone after ordering. To top it off, after ordering food from the regular menu and happy hour menu, we asked for a box. Unfortunately, we were told we couldn't have a box because some of the food was off of the happy hour menu and that was dine in only. Instead, they were happy to throw it all in the trash. If you want to be served, this is not the place for you. This business likes to take your money, but they don't want to spend any money on servers. My wife and I literally waited 15 minutes to order our drinks and another 45 to get a menu. The waitress did all she could, but one waitress for the whole place is a quarter of what is needed. They do craft their own beer here, although only had 2 on tap when we visited, as they were "changing out." Happy Hour specials were great- $3 beer and $4 cocktails. They also had a good variety of food specials- I ordered the chicken quesadilla, which was less than $6, and my hubby ordered 5 burgers for $5! But, the food was pretty meh- very much cafeteria style. The basket of fries was little more than a handful. The server was friendly, but our food came out without napkins or utensils, no cocktail napkin with my drink, we had to ask for ketchup- little things make a difference. Also, the name is misleading, this is not a pub. It is a brightly lit bar/eating area in the middle of a small casino. It is owned by the Station Casino family, which I did not know until we entered, so that may explain why there is more emphasis on gaming here than food and beer. read more

Just left without ever being actually served. Wandered around the bar area, trying to figure out where we were supposed to order or sit if we wanted food. No acknowledgement from any staff. Finally found a table we thought was connected to the bar. Still not sure. No servers in sight. Went up to the bar to make sure we were ordering in the right place and I stood there like an idiot for about 5 minutes, being completely ignored by every employee behind the bar. Like, full-on deliberate eye contact with the bartender and she just kept walking right by me without a word. There was no "I'll be right with you" or "have a seat and someone will be with you". Not even a nod or a hello or a smile. Once I was finally able to get her to stop and tell me that we order from our table, I sat down. And waited. Then we left. Would we get served? Maybe. It's small and smokey. I mean you walk into a cloud of cigarette smoke. I couldn't run out of the cloud fast enough. We moved to the other side of the casino and it wasn't as smokey. I don't think there is a non-smoking section. Drinks aren't bad at all. I paid $8 for a double rum and coke. It was nice and stiff. We hardly ever gamble but this time we won almost $100. Warning - great beer. They cater to locals but visitors are always welcome. Stumbled on this little joint (not literally) and what a gem. They do a $2 happy hour for a 22oz craft beer. Hefe is great, chocolate stout is good, blue diamond is good. Barley's is the place to be to watch sports and gamble! I was very pleased to walk in and see how clean everything was and that they were abiding by regulations. The staff are their normal friendly selves, so it's nice to get a sense of normalcy back. First time here. It started off good and quickly went to crap. We had 2 of our brothers join us. One ordered water and the other a beer. Beer came quick but water took about 15 mins. I must've asked 2 different people for water And Each one said I'll tell your server!! I mean why?? Why can't anyone grab a glass of water!! I asked 3 different people for pickles!! The beers here used to be just HORRIBLE, and I mean HORRIBLE. However there is a new brewer there now and things have improved. Still your standard run of the mill beers, but at least they are drinkable now! Went to check out their all you can eat salad bar for lunch. 7$ is a pretty good price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean, not too many people eating there. The salad buffet is small, it includes soup and pizza. Everything was pretty average, nothing special to make me want to go back. Umm...it's a quaint tiny casino with very, very mediocre beer. And very, very smelling of stale smoke, as any self respecting local's hole in the wall "casino" should. I really don't have much to say in addition to that, other than don't get too enticed by the word "brewery" in their name. They may brew their own beer, but it's hardly enough to land them on anyone's brewery radar and circuit, you are better off going to just about any other brewery in town, and there's more than fare share available. read more

Ok place to stop in Henderson. It is super huge considering that its in a strip mall. Lots of machines and a large board with all the odds for items you can place bets on. It is a bit smokey, so be prepared if you are a non smoker. We sat at the bar and tried their house beers. They were all decent for being on the lighter side, but I guess that is good when its 115 outside. The bar prices were excellent and the service good. read more
