The best part of Vegas is 24/7!!!! The best part of Mulligan's Pub is that it's not exclusively "Irish Food". The menu is far more vast including: burgers, soups, salads, sandwiches and a great many entrees. They do lean towards a Mexican cuisine, but there are many other options. So after the bar at 2am, I'm staring down a Cobb salad with fried chicken and half a turkey Swiss burger. Both were terrific! Friends Frankie and his wife were singing the praises of Mulligan's Chicken Fried Steak and the Beef Nachos. The food really is that good. The service is always great in here. The place has been pretty chill in the dozen times we've been here. I remember thinking we were going to walk in on a loud sing-a-long on visit 1 back in 2018. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised at this place, I've drive it twice a day for the last 4 years and never considered checking it out until recently I was looking for a corned beef sandwich, which are hard to find in Vegas, and saw they have it! As soon as you walk in you're hit with the smell of smoke. If you're a smoker it probably won't bother you, but it was very off putting right away for me. It made me lose part of my appetite. I pulled in there was an altercation happening outside with the police and young kids and me and my friend recorded then we proceeded to enter the building when the employee told us she can't let us in and we asked why and she said she just can't and closed the door . We were not at all involved with the police and never even spoke to them! In the past 20 years, I came here 3-4x/year as it is close to home. Last night, I came in for the first time in a year. Very diligent with pandemic prep; you cannot get in the door without a mask on, and you must wear the mask even when sitting alone and having a drink (between sips). The bartender is ON YOU if you deviate, so beware. He will not let them be written up. There was only 6 people in the whole bar area, including the bartender. I ordered chicken wings. Worst I've EVER had in 33 years in Las Vegas. I did order "plain", but that does not mean I want them way over cooked to be burnt, dry, charcoal singed crap. The skin was not even edible. I ordered to go, so I did not see this until I got home. I would have refused payment and would have sent them back if I saw them when I was in the restaurant. Even the inside by the bone was dry and overcooked. I used to brag to neighbors and friends about the great food at this place. I hope they get their old chef back - as whoever worked last night should not be working there. Be sure to eat in, or check your to go food before leaving. read more

Came in for a nightcap with my fiancé on a Friday night. There were only 3 other people in the bar area, and the bartender was super sweet and poured us a couple of strong drinks for an amazing price. The bar area smells like 10,000 cigarettes but the tables and chairs overall were clean. The bathroom was also clean. We didn't go over the the restaurant side, but it looked fairly large and the kitchen was still serving food when we came in at 1 am. Maybe you'd have more than 3 people in your bar on a Friday afternoon if your bartender didn't ignore people who come in so she can continue to flirt with somebody else there. Tried to celebrate our friends birthday. Stayed a few minutes, was ignored then finally when the bartender gave us attention it was only to tell us if we weren't gambling we couldn't sit at the bar. We left and drank at our friends house. With the large amount of bars in vegas, and local spots in the valley dont waste your hard earned money in a place where the bartenders are more concerned with their own personal lives then they are providing customer service. I went here to get my St. Patrick's day special, they do it every year . I got the corn beef and cabbage and potatoes. I figured it's close by and I can pick up some food To-go, and it ended up being really good. Well, we went in here due to lack of planning. We were going to a UNLV football game at Sam Boyd Stadium, and didn't do enough Yelp research to find a good place to eat close to the stadium. Saw this, we were running short on time, so in we went. Left half is the bar, and I usually prefer sitting at the bar, since you have a bartender handy. But in Vegas, in a small place like this...wheeewww the smoke! Almost died of lung cancer just by opening the door to that half of the place. Immediately changed over to the restaurant side. There were maybe 3 other tables sat. I love an Irish bar, this just seemed dingy and didn't have the charm of what an old, quirky Irish Pub needs to have. Our server was okay, very nice but didn't know anything about the menu, didn't know what they had to serve for drinks, beer, etc. Forgot to order my second drink, which was fine, we were fine to get out of there quickly. After my visit to the other Mulligan's on Pebble, I had driven by this one on my way home from work several times. Since it was St. Paddy's Day, what better than to stop in, enjoy a green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and watch some NCAA March Madness BB. They have a pretty large menu for a bar. They also run some good drink specials, ie 16 oz Guinness for $4, Irish Car Bomb for $6. I'm not sure what there normal specials are, since this was a special day. I ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage special meal, $15. Out came a huge plate loaded with Irish goodness. The Corned Beef was tender, and flavorful. So far my two meals at Mulligan Pubs have been very good. The bar itself is square, with plenty of gaming spots, and a 6 seat section of non-gaming spots. The dining area is separated by glass, so non-smokers can enjoy their meal. The air conditioning/air exchange felt pretty strong, I never noticed the bar area being too smoky. Service was on point. Friendly, welcoming, and both bartenders worked together as a team to check on patrons. Great job! I'll be back for sure. read more

I get Covid has been a tough time for the bars. Just like its been tough for industry workers losing hours. The Strip doesn't even pull this crap and this is supposed to be a locals bar. When I first decided we were going to move to Vegas, I told my fiance I would not become a degenerate gambler. Apologies to those who are, because I am thisclose to becoming just like you and am proud to do so at Mulligan's. First, Jocelyn is the best bartender. I love her, her bangs, her personality, her everything. She is one of the top bartenders we've ever had and she makes our experience at Mulligan's 100 times better whenever we go (which is not as often since we're attempting to save up for our wedding...oops...VEGAAAS!). She works on the earlier shift, so see her then (e.g. football games). Second, my fiance has won two royals there since we've moved to Vegas which has not been more than two years yet. That's saying something, but I'm not sure if it is about him or the looser slots? Let's go with loose slots. They have fun games and great incentives if you hit 4 of a kind, a flush, etc. You've got to appreciate the perks my friends. Oh the food. Oh, yummy food. I could eat that $3.99 breakfast special any time. Two eggs, hash browns, two pieces of bacon, two pieces of sausage and one very large pancake. $3.99. YES PLEASE! We would go to Mulligan's after the fiance's graveyard shift, get the breakfast special and then drink, I mean gamble, I mean, talk to Jocelyn and act like respectable citizens. I love the atmosphere and the darker pub feel, especially since clubs and dance beats aren't really my scene anymore. The Caesar salad no croutons with chicken? Hands down on the of the best Caesar salads I've ever eaten before. Huge portion, lots of delicious grilled chicken, they go somewhat easy with the dressing so I don't realize how many calories I'm consuming and oh yes, it fills me up for longer than an hour which is not normal with me and salads. Delicious. I want it almost every time. My fiance also loves the nachos and says they aren't too weighed down with cheese that ruins your meal with its greasy nature and the chips and light and crispy. He loves their nachos more than El Segundo Sol which is definitely saying something. So go to Mulligan's for a nice relaxed time, no drama, just drinks, a little video poker, some sports and maybe you'll even meet some new friends to do all of the above all over again the next day. If I have to be honest, though, I'm not sure I would have stopped by the place if I were just randomly driving by cause it seems a bit sketchy from the outside, but since it's right next door to the in-laws, the wife and I grab a few cold ones before heading into the madness. The beer is great, Meghan and Andy are da bizness, and the place has a pretty chill vibe. Last night, a few friends and I came to Mulligan's to enjoy some beers, shots and food. I've never been to Mulligan's, however, once I heard that this place was right down the road from me, I was totally on board. The place is super dark and has a section for dining and a section for the bar. There are signs all over and pub style decor. Remember when you come here, you are NOT allowed to say the F bomb. If you continue saying that word, you will get kicked out. I don't know why, but it's a rule they have. Last night we got the chicken nachos, chicken quesadilla and the spinach and artichoke dip. The food overall is pub food and good when you had a few drinks down. Isn't really something I would choose to eat all the time, but it works. I think I had an overall great experience with the staff and my friends, which made me give a higher than normal rating. I wouldn't mind coming back if my friends ever chose this place again. read more

So about a year as go my husband stepped into the smoking area to vape, and a couple sitting six feet away smoking cigarettes complained and called him an "ugly r**arded a**hole" and made fun of how he looked. The man then tried to start a fist fight with him saying my husband blew Vape in his girlfriend's face, meanwhile she is taking a drag on her cigarette. My husband complained to management who called him a liar and said they didnt see it and couldnt do anything. Meanwhile girlfriend is at the bar smoking another cigarette and laughing. This put my husband on management's sh**list. And we didnt come back for awhile. Then we did, because they are close, no one is ever there, and they are cheap. Then one morning we came in at 6:30am and the bartender has to serve us. He is insanely angry about having to serve us, talks to us like we are human feces, gets our orders wrong, and throws plates at us. He acted mad to process our bill but we still tipped him well. We talked to wait staff later, and it seems that the man who was so aweful is named Chris, and he is the man who called my husband a "r**tard" and has never forgiven him for it. They hired him as a bartender because he is buddies with management. So we decided since he is only graveyard and we are rarely there we wont give up on the waitresses we like, only the next time we came in there was a group of people who smelled like feces. My husband popped his head in the kitchen to get the attention of the waitress to tell her we were leaving and just didnt want to make a scene (we hadn't ordered). So management took this opportunity to ban us. Apparently they were so offended that we said something about Chris's inappropriate and aggressive behavior (mind you we didnt remember him from the smoking incident), they found any excuse to ban us. Talk about insane. We were regular customers who tipped well and never caused any incidents (Chris flew off the handle on his own volition because he hates ecig smokers), who gave too many chances, but because we dared say something about abusive behavior we have been banned. If I could give this place no stars I would! First off, while I'm having a conversation with my husband (not loud at all) I don't care for an over-dramatic, ill-educated and condecending bartender telling us to "tone it down or leave" because we are apparently in a "family establishment" despite no one under 21 being permitted in the hermetically sealed bar area. Secondly, for us just moving to the area and not knowing many places to go, this smokey dive bar with its narcissistic "boss lady" bartender Megan (obviously in dire need of attention) clearly lacks the fundamentals of management, as is reflected in the overall level of service. If you're looking for a good dive bar, I recommend you raise the bar and aim higher than this tweaker infested ashtray of a watering hole. Your lungs will thank you! read more

Absolutely amazing food, we sat on the restaurant side. The pub atmosphere is great and kickback, low lighting and very relaxing. Our server Terry was amazingly sweet! I will remember her forever. She recommended the Philly cheese steak, which was absolutely DIVINE. The bread is made fresh from a local bakery and the steak was so tender and juicy, bell peppers roasted to perfection, and the cheese was delicious. If I am ever in Vegas again I will definitely swing by for another meal. Thank you Terry! Thank you Mulligan's! Stopped in for a bite to eat. First thought the place was closed but as we were walking back to the car the employee ran out and told us that they were open. There was nobody else in the dining area which I thought was thought was odd. Ordered a Monte Cristo and cobb salad. The sandwich was a little bit burned but edible. The cobb salad, instead of chopped lettuce, they use shredded lettuce like on hamburgers or tacos. It was also is edible severely lacking in many respects. Since we were the only customers our service was exemplary. But overall I have to take off stars for the quality of the food. Won't be back. read more

I came here like 15 years ago because my friends love Darby O'Gill and the Little People. I enjoyed the music and the beer, but there was a raucous group of obnoxious loud football player type dudes singing over the one gal in the band. Everything was excellent up until it came time to pay. I left my cad on the table and though that it had been handled. I stepped outside AND STOOD IN FRONT OF THE BUSINESS to get to my next destination and the supposed owner is hollering after me like I tried to dip out on the bill. I was so confused and walked back in to correct the situation without hesitation, meanwhile she continues to argue with me that I try to dip out on her and I'm no longer welcome at the establishment. I call back to make amends with management and supposedly this is the lady who is management. So I explain again.. you came at me lady. I left my card on the table and took it back when I thought it was paid for. She wants to threaten me saying she had me on camera... SO YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE WHERE I PUT MY CARD ON THE TABLE... was on my phone, got distracted, thought that people did their job here. Please explain to me how I apologized and WALKED BACK IN to pay with no attitude other than to say I thought it was already taken care of. Honey, I could've ran out on your old ass if that was the case. I'm sorry that I didn't know your establishment was suffering to the point I needed to do your job also. I've been in Henderson/Las Vegas again now for 7 months. My office is close to this place so I chose to move over here so that I could either have a short drive or just ride my bike. I had driven by this place many times and finally decided to stop in one night since I didn't feel like cooking or cleaning up. I had a few hopes of finding some place near me that I could hang out in every so often, but all hopes were dashed. I'm sure most people around here are use to the indoor smoking thing, but I am not and find it disgusting, though I knew this would be the case going in so I tried to find a spot away from everyone else. I'm sure you'd ask why I didn't just go sit in the dining room, but I was alone and I feel stupid sitting at a big table by myself. Plus, typically dining rooms don't have tv's so I'd just be sitting there alone and bored. The bartender finally came around and I got a Maker's on the rocks. I'm seeing a trend in this area that Maker's is as good as it's gonna get. Looking through the menu I finally decided that nachos sounded good and were safe. Boy was I wrong. First off they drench the bottom of the plate with refried beans so you get this sopping mess of soggy chips in the end. Not sure how they managed it, but the nachos them self were boring as crap. The chicken was dry, the ingredients seemed bland, and really I only ate them because I was starving. The atmosphere was ok, but really it was just your typical smoking rednecks of Hendertucky. Seeing that it's across the street from my apartment, I wish I could say I would go back, but I highly doubt it. I was just terribly underwhelmed by the whole experience. read more
