I love this place! We always end up here after a night out on the art district and it's honestly the best way to finish out the night. Honestly, it probably is a great place to hang out most of the night too. I love this place. Hoku the bartender is literally the greatest. Always so helpful always so fun. I'm slowly building my Cornish pasty palette. I'm a creature of habit and the Cajun chicken is my all-time favorite. However I was put onto the tikka masala one and that one's pretty good too. There's so many options for everyone. I also like a good Irish car bomb with your friends so I 10 out of 10 Recommend coming here for a good time.

We got here just after opening around 11:20 on a Monday. We were seated and I ran to use the restroom while the rest of my group stayed at the table. I had no idea how big this place was until I took that walk. It's a LONG building. Cool stuff to see and discover when you make your way back there. A whole lounge I didn't know about as well as pool tables and a Photo Booth! The only sad part was when I returned they said several items were out including the sticky toffee pudding I'd been hearing and reading so much about. Kind of the reason for my visit was to try this and see what the fuss is all about. All four of us ordered a different pasty. I chose the Reuben having never had a pasty before wasn't aware how different it would taste without that rye bread. Definitely probably wouldn't order it again. I'd go with another filling. My son got the French dip which was good. When our waitress cane back to see if we needed boxes she went and checked on what desserts were now available and the sticky toffee pudding was now an option! I ordered that and my sister in law ordered the chocolate bread pudding. Neither one of us were overly impressed. My sticky pudding was good but half the toffee had gotten spilled over the ramekin and soaked up in the napkin under it. So needless to say not enough gooeyness for my liking. Her chocolate bread pudding had a good chocolate flavor but made it more like a chocolate cake than a bread pudding. She wished they'd of had regular bread pudding. Everyone overall liked the meal. The story and history of the pasty is cool and worth learning. Would I come back maybe. Would I say go check it out for yourself, sure. At least once.

Four of us had dinner prior to visiting First Friday in April. We arrived at 5 PM and were immediately seated. Service was prompt. The menu has many choices which made the decision difficult. My choice was the Guinness Stew which is steak simmered in Guinness gravy, with red potato, mushrooms, carrot, and celery. The pasty is layered with cheddar cheese, sautéed leeks and cabbage and served with sour cream and chive on the side. Everyone ordered a different pasty and all of them were delicious and filling.

We have an over abundance of Asian restaurants here, which is great for me. But when it comes to European food, especially British food, there's a real lack. To get that vibe, this is a top choice. I love the church pews. It's also huge inside, with high ceiling, giving you that beer garden, maybe beer garden and church feel. During the day by the huge windows, you can even get some sun. We came in a huge group and they were kind enough to do separate checks. Thank you and shout out to our server. I haven't been here in years and got the pepper steak pasty. It was really tasty. I initially wanted to be demure and only eat half but after I ate the first half, all demurity went out the window and I chowed down until there was nothing left on my tin plate. Wine pours were generous and everything was just about perfect. Except for one thing. The handle on the ladies' restroom going out is a wooden one. You cannot avoid touching. I don't want to touch wet wood after washing my hands at a restaurant. I sir, am a lady. Especially after the sign on the toilet read "do not flush tampons, pads, and rubbers." Y'all got some people clogging the toilet with condoms up in here? Must be the church like atmosphere that gets people going. But yea. Wood transfers bacteria easily. Especially when wet. They had no paper towels and a wet wooden door handle that had to be touched to leave the bathroom (can't just use your shoulders to bang you way out). This is just unhygienic. Especially since most of us eat the pasties with our hands. Please consider putting some stainless steel over the wood piece or otherwise changing that door handle.

I visited Cornish Pasty with a party of 10. We had a reservation and 6 of us had lunch paid for through a package with lunch and an escape room. They explained that the 6 of us had $55 to spend each which is actually way too much because the food is heavy. This was supposed to be a drink, a pasty and a dessert. I ordered two espresso martinis a pasty and a salad. My pasty order was never put in so once I finally got it we were a little late to our escape room and my food went directly in a box... I did eat the pasty the next day and it was good and heavy but I would have liked to eat with everyone. All food came out at drastically different times and water from an overhead lamp was dripping on our table. Not returning.

Very nice atmosphere! Had exposed stone walls, which made me feel that I was out of LV :) We had a very large party of 7, and they sat us immediately. The table fit us all and we didn't feel cramped and yet still made us feel close to talk. Waitress was great, and we didn't want for anything. Food was absolutely delish!!! I had the chicken pot pie and it was wonderful! I will definitely go back!!!

I love it here. I would go more often if downtown was closer to home. The restaurant looks so cool inside. I recommend reading about the history of pasties on their website. I also love all the pictures and artifacts in the restaurant about the miners in England. The hardest part about coming here is choosing a pasty. There are so many options and so many of them sound amazing. I ordered some chips and the chicken tikka masala pasty with both the minted yogurt and the tahini sauce. The chips were perfectly cooked and the extra crispy ones were my favorite. My friends also enjoyed snacking on them. The chicken tikka masala was very flavorful and the pasty was perfectly flaky. I loved it with the yogurt sauce the most. The tahini is very strong, so a little goes a long way. Half of a pasty was perfect for me, so I took the other half to go. The service was really good. We had a party of thirteen and they accommodated us well. They do not have auto gratuity and they do not allow splitting the bill, so plan accordingly. I cannot wait to come back.

All positives! Tavon is an excellent and informed Bartender who is passionate about the products he is serving and that is refreshing! Super cool spot with great food, super chill vibe and an amazing Craft Brew selection.

Very good pasties. They come to you right from the oven and are sliced in half to help them cool off. The dough is delicious. I didn't know what to order because there are so many different types so I went with the Oggie. It was great and filled me up. The space is very large and we even scored free parking right next door. I'm hoping to return soon to try some other pasties.

Why I haven't been to this spot before?!Such a cool atmosphere; felt like I was in a pub in London! I had the Oggie Pasty which was great. We also enjoyed the Scotch Eggs. I definitely want to return for some draft beers. Friendly service and cool vibes.

Visited this location multiple times. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. Service has been consistent each visit. Ample space for a party of two or large groups. Nice selection on the menu and ample drink options. Never had a poor pasty here. If you haven't been, a must stop.

Had a great time here for a late night snack and drinks. The photobooth was a hit with our guests and both the italian pasty and chicken pot pie were so warm and decadent!

They have happy hour (half off certain appetizers) every day of the week between 3-6pm. All of the food has been good. I have tried several dishes now. The Irish breakfast is very good. It is a decent size, you can share it with someone. It is pretty authentic. Looking to try blood pudding? No need to travel across the ocean, this pub has it and it tastes good (I travel to Ireland often). The homemade potato soup is quite tasty if you're looking for something warm. Whenever I come here with a group, we order the nachos. It is huge, and it is so good. The homemade crisps (chips) and gravy are super tasty if youre a gravy person (which I am). The Irish stew is quite good. Same with the shepherds pie. The fish and chips are also tasty. Ive ordered this multiple times and it never disappoints. The fish is a good size. I really like the beer batter on the fish. We have never been disappointed with our food. Go early to beat the crowds and take advantage of their happy hour. They also have sports games playing. I am an active player sometimes I win, break even or lose however as of recently I've had issues getting my food and drink comped I almost always order from the player menu and many times I have to remind the bartender to take the discount off the bill. Today was the worst example of this I had 3 drinks within the space of 40 minutes or so with active play I just so happened to break even in this time and I had a meal from the players menu. The bartender Juan while friendly and attentive gave me a bill with no drinks comped and full price on the players menu when I asked him about this and tried to get the drinks taken off he told me it worked like every other bar that I had to play $1 or more a hand and lose $20 per drink but I broke even so they aren't comped. Well that's not how any other bar works in all my time playing at various bars including this one my drinks have been comped whether I win or lose and I've always played 1.25 a hand or more so this was perplexing that not a single drink I ordered was covered after almost an hour of continuous play. I eventually got him to at least give me the players discount but still paid for every single drink. Perhaps I had too many drinks within the time frame but I should have at least had one of them comped I've never run into a bar that doesn't comp drinks for play it's just so standard but if this is the new policy of the Tavern I will find someplace else to gamble. Getting drinks comped is the bare minimum of a gaming bar if their policy has changed it is no longer worth it to visit and I would recommend any of the many competitors to this bar just for this factor alone. I'm assuming it is the bartenders discretion in which case I've never had an issue with Ted this is my first time seeing the other bartender Juan I will not be returning when he is there.

We both had fish and chips on our brains, and I know Flowing Tide in the north has yummy fish and chips, so I was hoping this Vegas location would too. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. The order comes with 4 nice pieces of crispy deep fried fish, along with malt vinegar of course. The fish was super hot and tasty seasoned at the table with salt and malt vinegar. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! If I'm down here in Vegas again, I'll have to give some of these more upscale items a try, unless Flowing Tide decides to bring them to Reno locations.
