We didn't have food, we sat at the bar, and well, these five stars belong to bartender Isabell and the great pints of Guinness we had. Maybe it was due to the recent Guinness pop up in Fremont, but the quality of the pints we had were clean and crisp. Other spots definitely slack on cleaning their lines and the flavor pays terribly for it. I couldn't help but compliment Isabell for the wonderful juggling act she was doing with the non-stop flow of patrons, especially during NFR weekend. She never faltered to give a genuine two part greeting and was incredibly patient with everyone while making sure not a single glass was empty. She truly exemplifies courtesy and hospitality! Service has been iffy in the past, but Isabell definitely helped to turn that around. We will happily stop in again in the future. read more

We popped in for a quick drink to start off the day proper in Vegas! Bartender was sweet and kept up no problem with the crowded bar. I tried the drink of the month which was a bourbon with honey and I loved it, so smooth I could have sat and sipped those all day but unfortunately I had a full day of drinking ahead and had to move on! We kind of knew what to expect going into Hennessy's Tavern, solid, standard bar food in the middle of all the Fremont Street action. We tried the nachos, which were decent... not bland, but not super bold either. The French fry sampler was the real win though! It came with three different flavored fries and three dipping sauces, which made for a really fun and tasty appetizer with good variety. If you're looking for classic tavern food, this place delivers exactly that, it's not trying to be anything fancy, but it's satisfying. The service was great, our server was super attentive, kept my soda refilled without me asking, and my partner really enjoyed her spicy margarita, which actually packed good flavor. Also, the patio seating is perfect for people-watching on Fremont Street which was definitely a highlight. Looks like a fun place to drink and they do have live music it's for a good time not for dine in! but the burger was a no go. , tastes like a water park concession stand burger.. for $22, It was worth $10 . No way it's a dry aged, I honestly think that's a lie, nothing about it seems upscale maybe better quality then some out there, it is a big patty. But eveything seems to be from a bag or freezer. Only thing about it it's not very juicy and has little flavor. Lucky the cheese is good a they have the sauce all over it but for $22 no way! Plus the onion rings taste like they have been fried and under a heat lamp since they opened out of 10 rings could only eat one... no joke they won't tear or rip! that's how hard they are! Located on the famous Fremont Street, you have the choice to sit inside or out on the patio. We ordered the fish and Chips and a Patty Melt. Both meals were cooked perfectly. The food was very good. We had to use a bathroom and we couldn't find a public one, so we decided to stop in Hennessey's Tavern to grab a quick drink and use their facilities. I've been in this bar a few times most recently this past Saturday during the "Santa Rampage" on Fremont Street. This was one of our stops. I liked how they are doing a toy drive so I brought in a new, unwrapped gift to donate but couldn't see where to drop it off so I asked one of the friendly female bartenders & they were actually taking them & keeping them behind the bar....which makes sense, they're safe back there... My friend & I were able to snag seats up at the bar. There were a couple bartenders working that night, I didn't catch there names but we had one girl who waited on us & was very attentive. Great customer service for a busy night. We did a couple of shots & had some drinks. There are video poker machines up at the bar that I noticed & had wondered if they have always been there?? lol There was a band playing that night though I don't think they had come on before we left. I know I've been in here a few times for drinks but do believe I've eaten here many years ago. I couldn't even tell ya about the food cause I don't remember.....lol It's definitely a good spot to stop by with a group of friend's to listen to some live music and grab some drinks. Its very spacious & I did notice that they have a comedy show in one of their rooms. If you sit on their outside patio its great people watching since its right down on Fremont street. :-) Ladies bathroom could be checked on more often as on of the stalls had run out of TP. Stopped into this Irish pub and grabbed a table outside -- perfect spot for people-watching. The atmosphere had that laid-back charm that makes you want to linger over a pint. Mike just didn't hear our request - he understood it. He made sure we were seated so my boyfriend could feel safe and comfortable, with his back to the wall and a clear view of the exits. That kind of care goes far beyond basic service. A few nights before the big game, we popped in for dinner and drinks - and that experience deserves its own applause. Our bartender, Isabelle, was an absolute gem; attentive, friendly, professional, and just genuinely fund to be around. She had that rare mix of energy and ease that makes you feel seen without being intrusive, and she made our evening feel special before the big game arrived. On Sunday itself, the place was packed - as you'd expect for the Super Bowl. But Mike handled it like a seasoned leader, and the entire staff was welcoming and on point. As an Army veteran and a business owner, I'm deeply impressed by Mike's leadership, his professionalism, his organizational instincts, and his ability to stay grounded under pressure. I was out for a night with some friends and we were taking a break from the casinos. We stopped at a traditional looking Irish bar on Fremont Street. We had been to this location years ago. It wasn't too busy so we grabbed a high top table. One friend ordered a Lagunitas, one ordered an extra dirty martini, my husband ordered a Guinness, and I ordered a Dark and Stormy. The server had never heard of a Dark and Stormy. We told her what it was and she said the bartender could probably make anything. It wasn't too busy inside, and we were waiting a while. First our server brought out the martini. My friend said it was good. A few minutes later she brought my drink. I could tell right away it wasn't made correctly because it was really clear. I tried it and it tasted ok; but it definitely wasn't made with dark rum. We saw the server with beers on her tray; but the beers didn't come. Finally the server came back and said she accidentally gave the 2 beers to a different table. She said she would take one of the beers off the check. We kept seeing her and another server bringing drinks to other tables. (I feel since it was their mistake they should have brought our party's beers first.). The 2 of us that had our drinks were completely done by this point. She brought over the regular beer and said she was still waiting on the Guinness. (It's an Irish bar....how long can it take to pour a Guinness?). Finally the Guinness came; my husband said it tasted a little funny; but at this point everyone was kind of ready to just leave. I would have gone with a 1 star rating; however the martinis were very good, and they had a live band playing with excellent music. On a day trip to the fun part of Vegas - the one that's more like the "old Vegas". Prices are more reasonable than down on the strip, but still much higher than jest a few years ago. We found a great Irish pub, Hennessy's Tavern, on the main drag. Great atmosphere and service! My Shepherds Pie was delicious and my wife was okay with her chicken club sandwich, but after tasting my Shepherds Pie, she wished she had order that.
