Well, we came on a night when we couldn't figure anywhere else, and didn't want to drive downtown. What a treat this place was! I mentioned on the way in we had never been, and the hostess immediate put a wristband on us to check out the band playing in the "venue" part of the bar, because we just "had to see the whole place" if it was our first trip. It was a band called Belmont. We are into all kinds of music, and they were great. We met in Chicago, and this band was from Chicago, so that was also like a cool thing/awesome coincidence. I went with my usual drink, and my husband got their beer. It was just a nice light beer. I have to say, the drinks were pretty strong, or I drank them up too fast because I got a little drunk after we got home. Yikes! The food was pretty good, even though it isn't a huge menu. The knots were good, salad tasty, and my husband enjoyed the wings. We didn't get to try the pizza, but will be back for sure to check some out.

She didn't talk to us at all, but asked us if we were gambling which were weren't at that point in time. She told us to move to a table because we weren't. Half the bar was empty. 10 of our group at the bar & 1 man we didn't know. She didn't ask anyone else in our group to move when only 1 of us has money in the machine. Working in the service industry for 20+ years ready made me cringe at her behavior. Like I said Amanda was fine but I don't think (if she's [Alex]a bar back) she should have tell us to move to a table when we've already been at the bar for 6 hours. When we were leaving after the Sunday night game they charged our friends for what they had. They payed and left. There were 3 of us left, so we asked for our check, so we could leave & half of what our friends ordered (&paid for were on our check). I have been told my a few people they do this on swing shift, but now that I'm "victim " to it I will never return to this bar again. If I must it will ONLY be when Rachel is there on Sundays until 4pm. Which by the way I did close out with her before she left so she's would get the whole tip. As a service industry worker I suggest the swing shift find a new home away from the locals. Take someone else's money. Not the locals who would have tipped you more than you earned.

We didn't eat any of the food, but they do have typical bar food options to feed you while you drink. The beer and seltzer options were great and cheap and the bartender was awesome and really made us feel at home knowing we were Phoenix travelers lumped in with a lot of cool locals. She was a busy lady working the whole bar, but was attentive when working out her daily tasks which seemed to include everything operation related. The location is very convenient and they had a couple running the karaoke that sang well and made us feel welcomed to sing to our hearts content with a pretty good cycle of singers. Pool tables were decent and from what I remember cost $1. There were some people offering to play with us as couples which is always cool to mix up the competition other than our usual Husband/Wife game. We heard they have new Karaoke people running the show we will definitely be back the next time we are in the Vegas are as we love dive bars and it is conveniently located off the boulder highway near where I usually have to go for work.

It's not smokey at all; I'm not sure if this is a non-smoking establishment or not, but no one was smoking when we were there. Since it was Sunday, they had a brunch menu available until 2pm. I ordered the vanilla Greek yogurt parfait that had berries and granola in it and it was a generous serving for $8. My husband got the Dragon Tenders which are hand-breaded chicken tenders that come with fries. I had one of the tenders and they are also large, not greasy and quite tasty. We spent almost three hours playing our favorite tile game while noshing on some food. There were other people playing various tabletop games, as well. This place is definitely recommended if you're looking for a place to play.

The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.

The tonic was served with no gin in it. When this was brought to my attention, the bartender was very slow to get to me. I had just picked up my drink, and I'm pretty sure she knew why I had come right back. She insisted that there was "a lot of gin" in the drink. It was a small glass, and I know what both gin and water taste like. There was no gin in the drink. She knew that. A second bartender, upon being asked, said they typically put a shot and a half of gin in the drink, so we asked for the shot separate from the tonic, and we'd mix it ourselves. We were told it doesn't work like that, which tells me all I need to know about the integrity of this business. They knew what they were doing. If you come here, order a beer or order the separate components for your mixed drink, then mix it yourself. I know everything is getting more expensive, but you're already making money on well gin. There's no need to cheat your customers like that.

We spent several days enjoying the property but the food/snacks are pretty much the same thing (at both locations) Yes, you can order in but if you're unfamiliar with the delivery area it can be difficult. Bring snacks & alcoholic beverages to help your stay be more pleasant. The Sea Mountain Nude Day Club is an absolute gem! Stop by when you're in the area.

I had the pleasure of visiting Apache Joe's, my neighborhood bar, and I must say it exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I felt like a regular even though it was my first time there. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great mix of locals and visitors. The staff at Apache Joe's really made my experience one to remember. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed. Whether I was ordering a drink or asking for a recommendation, they were always prompt and professional. Cara and Cameo The bartenders are skilled at mixing up all of my favorite cocktails and the beer selection was impressive. I also appreciated the affordable prices, making it easy to enjoy a night out without breaking the bank. Overall, Apache Joe's is a hidden gem in the neighborhood and I will definitely be returning. Male graveyard bartender was very rude and un-professional avoid this bar after hours. Honestly was the most disrespectful and rudest experience I've ever had in customer service. He was full blown screaming at people for little to no reasons often! He was smoking cigarettes in the back corner and not washing his hands too. DISGUSTING. AND SO RUDE. It was such a bad vibe and unenjoyable experience as if we did something wrong just by walking in. DO NOT go to this bar if you do not want to have a bad or distasteful experience. This has been by far the WORSE place I have ever been too!! A male employee was screaming his lungs out to us for not having our masks but yet we were having drinks I don't understand what the issue was we immediately left!!! He was racist!!!!!!!!! He was definitely having the WORSE night of his life I will NEVER ever come back to this place I wish I could have gotten his name but for sure he was on the graveyard shift!!!!! 0 star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although we thought it was weird and petty, we went somewhere else. Dan, similar to last time, decides to send some interesting messages to me on Yelp. Again fine, weird but fine. I'm not a regular there. I don't live by that bar, so it's not like i'm going to be overly concerned about being asked to leave a place with nothing going on for it. Seems the common trend with bars he "runs" is that they are Sad & completely empty. Maybe that's why the couple patrons they had earlier left before he got there. So it's because of this that they absolutely earn this one star review just like he earned the last one I wrote. Same tough guy attitude, same poor handling of situations. No credibility or professionalism. Stay on the bottom rung bud.

Randi, Starr and Sherida, Ashley and Javier are the reasons I keep coming back, extra board ppl are awesome too. No food but they got places close that deliver so you can definitely eat too. can I get a marker ? lol

It's nice to see such a friendly and clean little locals bar. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite…read moresports and a cool mix of cool patrons who all seemed genuinely nice. Mike the bartender was attentive and was sanitizing after each person. There are gaming machines abd pool tables ( can't play right now because of covid but hopefully soon) There is also a kitchen with decent menu and pizza. Red walls and a funky carpet that looks like the carpet from the Cosmopolitan Casino. The place was clean and didn't have an odor, these were all great first impressions. I had the most excellent service during the day shift with Denise at the helm. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our experience was top-notch from start to finish. She took the time out to explain details about the bar and it genuinely seemed she wanted to know her patrons. The wings we ordered were absolutely awesome - perfectly cooked and flavor-packed. The rest of the menu looked great with reasonable prices as well. However, I have to admit that when the swing bartender came on duty, she completely ignored us as if we were invisible. Couldn't get her attention to order anything. It was a bit disappointing to receive such different levels of service from the two staff members working that day. In her mind we were done apparently so we had to go somewhere else after waiting for her to acknowledge us. Despite this hiccup, Denise's outstanding service and the delicious wings definitely made up for it. Overall, I would highly recommend giving this place a try during the day shift for a great dining experience.
