Everyone smiled & was welcoming, from the one gentleman up front to the woman who gave me the pedicure & then the lady who answered the phone. This seems like something super simple, but I've been to nail salons where they are just not NICE. They are there to do the job but do not incorporate kindness & customer service...at a service-oriented business. Many nail techs seem like they REALLY dislike their jobs. And if you question how they're doing something to your hands or feet, or even ask?! They often act insulted. It's a fine line to tread. When it shouldn't be. I chose the VIP pedicure - see the menu! Treatment on my legs: * sugar scrub * hot stone massage * peppermint mask + hot towels * there was no paraffin wax for my feet but these other treatments made up for that Then "regular" stuff for feet: * soaking * cheese grating! * nail trimming & shaping - I asked for filing instead of cutting Thank you to Golden Nails Spa & "Ann" for a relaxing pedicure.

I asked for gelX and shorter nails while still having the pointy, skinnier french mani I desire and she didn't hesitate to give me what I wanted. However, I'm used to working with a private tech who takes good care of my nails and does a soak off instead of getting my previous nails buffed/drilled off with an e-file. I do prefer to get my nails done the healthiest way, and this might not be the place for that kind of care. I added pictures of 1 week after getting my nails done, and my nails are already lifting at the base. It might be because my job requires constant hand hygiene for long hours. Overall, I think pricing is reasonable and you are given great service. :) I'm just biased and prefer private techs instead of nail salons.

I don't recommend this place. I had a negative experience. An old friend introduced me to this salon for my first dip manicure with tips. She didn't schedule an appointment, but since she knew the manager she said it was fine. I took her word for it, but now wish I hadn't. We walked in and I was told to sit at a station and one of the nail techs was assigned to me. Clearly she did not want to do my nails because she looked very angry when she came over. She asked what I wanted and I told her dip with tips, but to keep the tips on the shorter side because I work in healthcare and I also type a lot, I just wanted a nicer appearance than my usual boring nails. She was very rude when I asked her to take the tips a tad bit shorter, she said "MORE?" Like, what part of that was not clear? Then, she's filing down my nails and gets upset at me because I guess my hand wasn't relaxed enough, and she proceeds to shake my hand very dramatically and says "you need to learn to relax, you're too stiff." Lol, ok. I had just been in a car accident a couple months prior, so, excuse me for not meeting your expectations. About 10 more minutes into my appointment she takes a deep breath and she says to me, "you do realize, your natural nails are uneven right?" I didn't even know how to respond to that, I know I'm not perfect, why does it even matter? The tips glued on fine, so what if my hands are slightly asymmetrical? I felt like this woman was purposely attacking me because she was mad that we walked in instead of scheduling an appointment. My friend had her nails done by the manager because they were friends, so I ended up with the butt end of the deal with a moody technician. I've since switched to a new salon and I go every 4 weeks with no issue. It was enough of a bad first impression to never want to go there again. read more

I went here about a week ago... I'm vistiting Phoenix and found this nail shop on google and was satisfied with the pics and reviews. while I absolutely loved my nails when I first got them done, the very next morning my finger was EXTREMELY swollen and hurt really bad. my finger was swollen for about three days until it started oozing pus and now the skin is peeling around my nail. I contacted the lady who did my nails as I paid $260 total for the nails and a pedi. I did not see any tools in sterilization bags. I believe that the tools were not cleaned or sterilized correctly. I was ignored and basically feel like I spent $260 to get an infection. i do not recommend this place. read more

Found this place by searching for nearby nail places and they were 5 min from my house. The pedicure was fantastic, she took her time and was a great price for how much they did. I also got a full set of acrylic. Showed her a picture of what I was looking for and they achieved it without any challenges. Turned out exactly what I was looking for. Further my massage chair lost power 15 minutes into the service, because someone was working on the electrical. My husband's chair was not affected. My pedicure person was unable to move my chair also during this to do my feet. Since the pedicures were just okay, we left before the manicure. Opted to go to nearby bar for Happy Hour instead. It also appeared that we would have a substantial wait for manicure since they were overbooked. This place is nearby and I wanted to love it but I am gonna check some other places nearby for future mani/pedi. It could be a one off because of water issue and Easter weekend.
