Came here for the a Yelp Elite event this evening and this was my first time to this location. I've been to one location in Brooklyn previously and liked it. There is outside seating for those want to enjoy the outdoors and inside seating. I liked the decor. The ceiling was like an old copper/sheet metal look and the walls had exposed brick and wood. There were many different types of beer on tap as well as bottled. They also make great shakes. I tried the peanut butter one and really loved that it wasn't too sweet. We started off with appetizers which included onion rings, a salad with nachos, a salad with alfalfa sprouts and quinoa (loved this), fries and baked Brussel sprouts (really liked them). The onion rings were really good. They weren't greasy and perfectly seasoned (not too bland or salty). I ordered three different sliders. I tried a chicken slider, a boar slider (wiki wiki) and a beef slider with Canadian bacon. I was so stuffed that I was only able to take one bite of each. I enjoyed the regular burger and the thick cut bacon. They offered a s'mores sundae for dessert but I was way too stuffed to eat anything else. The service was great. The waitresses and waiters kept coming around asking if there was anything that we needed and kept our drinks filled. Overall I had a great time and will be back! Thanks again, Yelp! read more

Stopped by this location for the first time 2/16/24 and was so satisfied with the overall experience, being that it was our first time, we had a lot of questions and servers answered them swiftly and had extensive knowledge of the menu. Food was delicious, fresh, and you can tell they truly use clean ingredients because we felt amazing afterwards, instead of feeling sluggish and lazy like typical burgers usually make us feel lol. The staff is super nice and friendly, my main problem that I order for take out 4 times and each times I'm begging them to have my food without bacon and well done and each time I explain for them that please make sure that it's well done with no bacon because last time it was not and it just went to trash as it's!!! And they assure me that they will make sure to tell the chef! Believe it or not !! Four times four orders went to trash directly!! We ate the French fires only! Love this Bareburger! I live in City Place so I obviously eat here a LOT! I ordered take out tonight and they forgot one of my extra dressings. When I called them, they were nice enough to run it over to my doorman so I didn't have to bundle up and go back to pick it up. And, they put a cute little heart on the bag. Love the personal touch and great customer service! My favorites here are the burgers (obvi) and the Hudson salad is amazing! They also serve booze so, um, awesome! I've been waiting to dine at Bareburger for awhile, and recently got the chance. I have dined in the restaurant and have had take-out delivered. I must say both times were EXCELLENT. The first time I ordered one of the burgers off the menu, it was cooked with ELK, extremely delicious, the Habanero Express, on a multigrain roll. We also ordered an order of sweet potato fries, and onion rings to share. The portion was very large, I even took some home along with the burger I ordered my husband to go. Next we ordered delivery, one again it was GREAT! The delivery girl even reminded me to check my order before she left in case there were any errors. This time I got another elk burger again, in a wrap, delicious once again. We also got some pickle chips, which were a little spicy. I love spicy food, but my husband doesn't so that's just something good to remember. I can see that I will becoming addicted to BAREBURGER. I love it! read more

I enjoyed the ambience and look of this restaurant. It's a casual spot boasting of mainly burgers, shakes and fries. What really stood out in the menu was the variety of vegan options. I picked the standard burger. The menu states only organic grass-fed beef, which can make you feel a bit better about your choice. I will say that the burger was disappointing. Burgers from some fast food restaurants have even tasted better. Their stone ground mustard and garlic aioli were very average sauces, even though the waitor recommended those. Everything was a-ok for me here. I like the decor inside. Very rustic and hip. My boyfriend and I ordered Onion Rings, Buttermilk Chicken Bites and the EL Matador Burger. We ordered the burger with angus beef which also came with queso fresco, guacamole, spicy pico de gallo, pickled jalapenos, and green leaf on a brioche bun. I don't know what it is with guacamole, but it went well with this burger. I really enjoyed the Chickens Bites too. They had enough crisp on the outside and was tender in the inside. I've been to many Bareburgers and this location was probably the worst one I've been to. Our food was late, everything we ordered came at random times, and the waitress messed up our order despite confirming with us two times. The food also did not taste as fresh as the other Bareburger locations I've been to. Despite all of this, the atmosphere at this location is really cute and they have nice outdoor vibes with a huge glass wall and cute "backyard" lights. There's also a bar area with a couple of large TVs that play whatever sports game is on tv. I'm not sure if every location does this but this one serves breakfast and beer/cocktails. read more

First time at a chain rated highly for their handling of allergy sensitivity... and we get very poorly trained staff who just handed me a tablet and referred to the allergy menu which is digitally silo'ed from the actual menu. I get that if someone is on training but to have specified several allergies for the kids including egg and dairy and to come out with a meal with a brioche bun is a life and death no no. Otherwise food for others were great aside from a few tiny hairs I found on nuggets and my order... I really want this place to succeed, hence the two stars. Please do better. read more

The service given by Aliah at the bar was amazing, was there just before the holidays with my partner and we were both very pleased.

Randomly ended up walking to this restaurant drawn in by its flashy sign and hipster vibe it felt like a good place to get some food. I got their Bison burger which ended up being extremely good (picture not available because I tore it up as soon as the plate hit the table) it was a great combination of sweet and savory. I was also surprised by the brunch special that they had at the time, a flight of different flavored mimosas for only $20. It seemed like a offer I couldn't miss out on. To my enjoyment the drinks were good and boosy. The manager Carlos stopped by my table to talk to my group on how our experience was which is something that I really appreciated because how often does that happen? This was my first time having Bareburger and now I see what the hype is all about. I had their Guadalupe burger (black bean, roasted corn & poblano patty, guacamole, pickled red onions, tomatoes, alfalfa, sprout bun) with a side of sweet potato fries and it was delicious! They took time in putting the burger together because when it got to my friend's apartment, it was not a destructed mess. It was perfectly stacked, with the toppings nicely layered and presented like a crabby patty from The Krusty Krab. I was so grateful for that after a long day of moving with my friend on an empty stomach. There were a mouse in the restaurant when I went to pickup food - disgusting! The mint shake tested less like mint chocolate chip and more like actual mint like I was drinking toothpaste. They gave a very small amount of fries for high prices. I'm disgusted by the fact there are rodents in their restaurant and if i didn't already order online I would of not stayed there. More than moderately priced were the vegan burgers which we had the one called The Duchess. The burger looked good, albeit small for the cash you're dropping on it, but was surprisingly bland. While the sandwich was completely unremarkable, it would have maybe inched out another star if the kitchen added a dash of salt. The macho fries were good, however with no real or fake meat added it was challenging to justify what we were spending. The soda was halfway flat. I'm not sure if it was from a bottle or a fountain gun, but it was flat nonetheless. The staff was not very attentive, but not bad once you got the server's attention. The next time we're craving a fake burger, which sometimes is quite often, we'll do a drive-by here and keep on going. read more

The food is always cold, especially if you get it delivered because they take forever to get to your house. Might I add, I'm only a 4 minute drive away from this place. But still expect to wait an hour minimum. The burgers look great on paper but then you get them and they don't have much flavor. I've tried many different things from this restaurant and I can't really think of anything that I've truly enjoyed. I've never even had a crispy fry here. They've always been cold, wet and soggy. The shakes are good at least. I normally go for the strawberry shake. Also, when I order, they always forget something and I always have to call back to let them know. I'll usually tell them to just take it off the receipt because chances are, they'll take an hour bringing your missing side of fries too. And by that time, what's the point? Wouldn't recommend. You can get better food elsewhere and for MUCH cheaper. read more

We went to the one in edgewater which is right next to the Promenade on the water. I cant wait to go back when they set up outdoor tables. This location is byob too which was nice. For the food I ordered the guadalupe burger with a side of habenero mayo. My boyfriend got a regular beef burger on brioche and we shared a side of the rings and fries combo. My burger was good but the black bean patty was a little dry, without the mayo i wouldnt have liked it as much. The habenero mayo is BALLER. It isnt that spicy and adds a good kick to anything you dip in it. One side shared for two people was perfect unless you really feel like housing a ton of fries. the onion rings have this unique super crunchy batter that i loved. Really cool look to this place, with all the wood and metal ceiling. Wish I could have been there while the garage stores were up but it was FREEZING today! My husband loved his bison burger and raves about the onion rings. My daughter had a plain cheeseburger and fries and was happy with that as well. I had a special request for my salad and they got it 100% correct which is s welcome change. The service was quick and efficient. Bathroom was clean. And it's in a great little shopping area.
