For my 500th review, I would like to give a special shout out to Dino's Bar and Grill! You guys deserve it! I came here for the first time with my softball team the not too long ago and we had a blast! For starters, the food there is great, we picked on quite a few things to eat, truffle burgers, wings, kalbi, pretzels with cheese (which was the best I ever had btw)...no matter what we ordered it was delicious! The service was also amazing! The bartender was on point with such a large group and was really nice! We also loved all the activities they had available for us a well...jumbo jenga, cornhole and pool. We also loved how big the outdoor area was so we had plenty of room to spread out and just have fun! This will most likely be out new go-to spot after our games! read more

Bartender added "doubles" to every drink. But there's no way. I've been drinking for years I know when there's more alcohol than not. My two martinis were 100% one shot. So were my gf's. They still charged us for 2. Neither of us asked for a double shot either. Check your bills before you leave. read more

This is a good place to be at for real when I tell you I took a journey with my cousin to this bar and grill for my first time I really enjoyed there westerner burger so much it was smacking my mouth definitely then any other place I've ever been to I love this place it's chill spot to be at the people how work there they were very nice friendly people great hospitality great service if you want to have a great time with your friends and your lady friend or boyfriend I suggest this bar and grill for good food and good company and good service you will not be let down trust me. read more

How many of us have driven down (or up) Edgewater Road, only to be surprised by this random island-like bar in the middle of the street? Yep! That's Dino's for ya! After years of passing by this place, my curiosity got the best of me, and boy, I am so happy that it did. Dino's is excellent - it's a dive bar, for sure, but a classy dive bar. It's a dive bar plus. People of all walks of life are here, and the vibe is very chill. For months, I've only ordered drinks here (and by the way, the drinks are super reasonable), but then my friends and I made the jump to the food. While the menu is limited, everything is extremely tasty. Their fries and wings and delicious, and their mozzarella sticks are perfect. Also, they have daily specials...a few weeks ago, I tried the skirt steak and it was downright delicious. I would have never had guessed it came from a dive bar! Not to mention, there is a pool table and a jukebox to get the party started. And by the way...they have extended their outdoor patio due to COVID, and I must say, it is a great spot. Total dive bar - - - I love it! Locals, cops, bikers, and everything in between. Yet it is civilized, not for brawlers, just feels that way. Drinks are normal pours, and the food is good. Reliable place that is an icon in the area. Enjoy! read more

This is a spot for the locals, but don't let that deter you from checking it out. I met up with a friend here for drinks and the service was quick and simple. There's plenty of space for being a dive bar and the music keeps things afloat. We even ordered some pretty standard fries. In terms of parking it's practically road parking which can be tedious to cross but nothing you can't do. All in all is return for a fun laid back vibe. read more

Welp, with restrictions lifted restaurants seem to be going back to normal. I thought mask were still required in some places. When my husband and I first walked into this place all eyes were on us mask wearing fools. I should have left then, but since I've never been, I decided to stick it out. A couple of stares never scared me off. My ratings are from 1-10. 1 being the lowest, 10 the highest. Service and staff: 4- the servers were okay, nothing to brag about. The waitress didn't write down our order and forgot one thing. We had to ask someone else to get it. I also felt as if I waited a really long time for my server and food to come. Food: 9- I ordered the sliders, which were pretty good, not dry but also not greasy. My husband had the Thai chili wings and he enjoyed them. We had beers on the tap that wasn't flat so that's a plus. It's a dive bar, so don't expect much on the menu. Pandemic precautions: zero- Covid is over in this place. No mask wearing, who knows if tables were sanitized after every guest, tables were not feet apart, but the out door was nice! staff and servers walked around pre-covid. Overall, for my first time there, the food was pretty good for a dive bar. The service is not the best and personally, I won't be going back. I don't recommend this place. A few weeks ago we decided to check out their "beer garden" they have a huge lawn with tables and chairs that looks very inviting. However, the bartender/waitress was rude, not wearing a mask (even inside or while serving drinks/food!!!!) and was very annoyed about our decision to sit outside because "she would have to walk outside just to bring us drinks"(!?) She kept pushing us to move inside, where she had at least 10 people sitting at the bar, not social distancing and of course not wearing masks (borderline illegal in NJ I presume). The whole experience felt very dangerous and sketchy. Never coming back to this place. I know this is a dive bar but C'MON, no need to be irresponsible or stupid. read more

Giving 2 stars because the place i was looking forward to see for first time recommend by a friend. Came from Miami and was so disappointed the way the bartender treat us. I asked glass of Pinot Grigio and the wine taste funky. The bartender instead of offering me another option he gave me bad attitude. Telling me and husband this was not a place to ask for good wine. I never ask for a fine wine but a normal taste. Giving us discriminated attitude. We end leaving and not ordering food or drinks. I wont spend in a place that treat new customers like that. Horrible food! Dirty place. Only one person handling everything and constantly wiping his hands on his pants while putting food on plates! We ordered nachos, Caesar salad and wings and it took him from 7:15 to 8:52! When I said can I cancel at 8:30 he said no because it's being made! What is being made??? The nachos are Burnt and nothing on it. The Caesar salad has a side bottled dressing which I saw him pouring into a small cup. Truly this was the worst. First, the outside is very charming with all the lights Not sure if they had parking but we parked on a very busy street and had to run across and not get hit. There is a nice covered and uncovered patio section. Then, there is the main bar area with tables. Looked like locals hung out there. We were there very late and the kitchen was closed. They impressed me so much when the bartender offered to have something made for us from the kitchen since we had not eaten. What great service! revamped and updated old rustys. still holds a safe place in my heart, but i love dinos. i love that when i walk in, i no longer smell sewage and a damn toilet in the place. i feel the staff is fun and nice. food smells delish, although i havent had a chance to try. the handfull of times ive been here since its been dinos, i appreciated the drinks and the drink specials, the cleanliness, how it doesnt smell, the amount of light in the place now, and the tables outside to sit at if you need some air. overall fun place, good prices, food is next for me to try... read more

Went for Dinner Food - 4/5. The rusty burger has a good smokey flavor from whatever wood they use to grill it. Unfortunately it is on the drier side, but the smokiness makes for a good experience. The french fries are crispy with good seasoning and the coleslaw and pickles are tasty. The burger bun is a bit lackluster and the lack of anything for the burger besides the bun and the patty makes it feel a bit empty. Service - 4/5. The bartender was friendly and the atmosphere makes you feel very welcome, like a local bar in your area. The burger took a bit long to come out, but it wasn't enough to upset someone. Value - 4/5. The burger with sides goes for $10, which is a pretty average price. The food taste good so combined with the prices, the value is about above average. Parking - Street (Free) read more

Formerly Rusty Kale's Pub, all that's changed is the name. The menu, bartenders and ambiance are all the same. Classic brass rail pub with plenty of seats at the bar tables and booths. Fully stocked bar, excellent draft beer selection and one of the best pub kitchens I've ever had the pleasure of sampling. (I recommend either burgers or the wings. Come hungry!) They're open as early as 11am and they show all the local games on multiple screens; pool table and jukebox are also at the ready. For all you smokers, they have an outdoor smoking area available so you can drink your beer and smoke your cigarettes. (Oh! And they still have a bonafide cigarette machine operational on the premises! How very retro!) Almost always plenty of parking too. Good place for both groups or a date night. I've never been so disgusted and appalled with the customer service. I walked in at 11:15pm and was surprised to see bar was packed, customers are still eating dinner and their drinks still filled to the brim. The manager at the bar STEVE! was repulsive and disrespectful!! He started yelling at us saying he wasn't going to serve us. He racially profiled us and tried to humiliate and embarrass us. Not one person in the bar got up to go outside. We respectfully walked in with our masks on ,not one customer had a mask on their face. And STEVE RIPPED OFF HIS MASK violently to yell at us He needs to be held accountable for his disgusting actions. He purposely profiled and humiliated us because of our race. Its truly painful to write a review like this about an establishment that we frequently enjoyed their fine food. The staff is lacking basic manners and etiquette. The customer should not have to explain to the staff how a menu item is prepared. After explained to the bartender that our food was not what we ordered he got upset, and when he realized we were correct he's response was (This Is Not Sorentina's) and he walked away without asking if we would like something ease. And to add instant to injury. The cook walks out of the kitchen and yells out ( Sorry for however the pizza was for, and go's outside to smoke. At this point we are upset with the disrespect for our time, and hunger so we ask for the check, and hand him our Quick Draw tickets so he can scan then for prizes, and the Bartenders (Mike) chooses this time to inform us that he has no way to check the ticket because the scanner is down. Guys, let's be real. Forget about TGIFRIDAYS, HOULIHANNS, APPLEBEES. if you want a real ass experience with some real authentic ppl, you come to dinos. Look honestly I been here back when it was owned by someone else and I had nothing but good times. But I stayed away for a couple years after owner change. I recently came back because a true fiend highly recommended the place. I was reluctant but said "LET'S DO IT". And I was not disappointed. Very friendly vibes here. Not a huge selection but it DOES NOT MATTER. The personality here is more than exceptional. Martha is probably the best bartender in the fort lee/edgewater area, alone for the fact that her personality is exactly what you want from a "divey" spot. I low key love this place and the faces are great. The food is great for when you're feeling the alcohol. Just an amazing place, atmosphere, and vibe. P.S. Martha is the shizzzzzz. As everyone in the area knows, this used to be the old Rusty Kales the locals knew and loved. I must say that the place is starting to look a lot more "refreshed" but is still in its transitioning phase so it still looks like the old dump with some new tables and so. The addition of the high tables was a very clever idea as it adds more space for groups. I see there are more lunch specials so I presume that there will be more food advertisement and an extensive food menu in the near future. The new bartenders seem fine but it's clear the locals are very indifferent to them. This place will take some time and work to become what I believe is a gastropub. read more
