I came in on a Saturday around 1130 and the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. I loved the candles on every table and the lighting that gave the place a relaxed vibe. Now the food was amazing. I saw a post promoting the milanesa torta online and knew I had to try it. The food was fresh and came to the table quickly. The torta was flavorful and the milanesa was juicy and cooked perfectly. The salsa for the chilaquiles was tangy and not spicy. The pickled onions on the torta gave the sandwich a nice bite. My only complaint was that the bread fell apart making the torta even messier. I asked for a mocktail to go with my lunch and the waitress came back with a lovely pineapple drink. The pan de muerto was toasted perfectly and had a beautiful crème fraiche. The peaches were caramelized and the whole thing was topped with candied pecans. Every bite was amazing. The chef even walked around and asked everyone for feedback. Tried this place with a reservation a few months back. Food was decent, I enjoyed the carnitas. Drinks were excellent and service was great! We came back at around 9:30 on a Saturday night just for drinks. We stood at the vacant host stand for about 10 minutes where none of the servers acknowledged us as they saw us standing. We finally walked in and the friends of the staff who were waiting BEHIND us got seated with a friendly greeting. The servers continued to stare at us as if we weren't supposed to be there. Finally had to ASK a server and she sat us down. The drinks were solid. They closed the bar at around 10:30, where they clearly state they are open until 11:00. I was hesitant to leave this review as I really like the concept of this place, but they really need to reevaluate what kind of restaurant they want to be. read more

Cute little spot in the farmhouse collective! Loved the set up of everything. Cocktail list was small, but I'm sure they could've made anything not on the menu. Lost me when I saw the mole margarita though. I got aguachiles and they have hibiscus in them- so they were pink. Honestly a little weird and not my favorite. This is my favorite dish elsewhere but this was a mistake in my opinion. Very pricey for any food item and expensive. My friend got small portion quesadillas. Those were fine. The service was great. It was slow in there but the host sat us immediately and the server was attentive. All in all I am glad I tried it but would try somewhere else before going there. read more

I went during their Bar Ni Modo x Aruba bar takeover - spectacular cocktails by Frida Lucia and Jessica! The food was incredible and complimented well with their drinks. Carnitas with mole and freshly made tortillas were the icing on the cake for this up-and-coming gem here in Riverside. The servers, bartenders, and chefs are kind and welcoming. And just the entire ambiance, good energy, and uniqueness of Ni Modo makes this a stand-out at Farm House! Will be back soon (frequently). read more

Cool cocktail bar in the Farm House Collective. The food is good, but on the pricier end - the cheapest option is the $5 tacos which are solid. However, the draw here are the craft cocktails. I've had most of the specialty ones on the menu and they're all awesome - I'm partial to the Tequila Milk Punch! No draft beer, but a small selection of cans available (the ube coconut beer was absolutely lovely). Servers and bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu (good for me who had a lot of questions) - shoutout to Mark, he's the man. Great place for a drink. read more

Anywhere you sit at the Farm House Collective gives one a very comfortable vibe which is lacking when considering the rest of University boulevard here. It's like a safe little bubble away from it all, and Bar Ni Modo is no exception. Our service was great. I didn't get the hostesses name but she was really nice, blonde hair. Our waiter and busboy Aleks and Cameron were very cool as well. Loved our food which was tapas sized; perhaps not a place you want to go if you're really hungry. Our experience here started off okay. We happened to be there right when it opened so it was just us at a table, a few customers outside, and a guy at the bar. The guy at the bar already seemed drunk and he wouldn't stop staring at me/ my chest. We tried to ignore him, but he wouldn't stop and when my sister asked him if he had a staring problem he took that as initiative to continue to stare and now openly talk to us. When we told our server we were uncomfortable and asked if this guy was a regular and constantly stared at women, he just laughed and said, "Yeah he's a regular. He's a looker." We just had a drink and left because clearly they valued his money over ours since he was a regular and they are aware that this guy makes other customers uncomfortable. They gave us a coupon for a free mole on our next visit for what I'm assuming is because of our situation, but I assure you we will not be back if they have regulars who don't leave women alone and staff that doesn't treat concerns with respect. The guy also moved seats at the bar when we left so he could see us walking around the rest of the Farmhouse Collective. He continued to wave at us and try to talk to us even when we weren't at the restaurant. Also it's a gentrified af Mexican restaurant with $25 octopus tostadas. First off, I absolutely loved the place--the music and ambiance were fantastic, the drinks were amazing, and the service was great! However, I did notice that the aguachile didn't come with tostadas, and the sauce was a bit too runny, which made it feel more like a soup and my friend said the tacos had way too much onion . Tried this restaurant for the first time last week and it was an ok experience. At first the hostess was not too friendly but when she sat our table, she changed her demeanor. Our server was great, very attentive. I had two drinks but their drink menu is very limited only about 6 drinks and they are not that strong . The food was ok. Not very large portions for the price.
