I want to start out by saying the Owner is a lovely lady! Very welcoming atmosphere. Inside dining is by reservation only ($9 per person reservation fee that will be put towards your end bill). Outside dining is on the side of the building for free. I ordered the triple chocolate chunk cheesecake $20. The size is about an extra large slice of cheesecake. Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of the texture nor the taste.
The cheesecake was pretty good. It was soft and creamy. I chose the regular new york style, they do add some sort of icing on top which can make it a bit sweet but definitely makes a good combination. I give it a 9/10 I didn't dine in, instead I bought through their to go stand trucks, since i saw on previous reviews that a reservation was needed prior. The place is absolutely beautiful though, they have a beautiful tree with a palm tree growing ontop of it, makes a cute date night for sure. I also met one of the managers and she was super sweet.
We (4) had cheesecake flights. The cheesecake was good but not amazing or special. They were out of every flavor I tried to order so I ended up with my third choices from the menu. The tea was delicious and we would have bought that to go if we could! The vibe was seriously just weird! Like they were trying extra hard to be mysterious for no apparent reason. We were forced to make 'walk up reservations' and wait for 10 minutes to get seated when there were only 2 other people in the dining area. Then the waitress would rush around the room then disappear for 10 minutes at a time. It was just odd.
We stumbled upon this adorable spot while walking around St. Augustine on our way to see the Love Tree, and I'm so glad we did! The place is super cute and intimate, with such a cozy, welcoming vibe. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable, even sharing a bit about the history of the house and the company itself. They start you off with complimentary hot or iced tea and a little pineapple plate, which was such a nice touch. We ordered the cheesecake sampler (for dine-in only!) and added an extra bite so we could try four flavors: cookies and cream, strawberry, triple chocolate chunk, and white chocolate raspberry. Every single one was delicious, rich, creamy, and perfectly portioned. The sampler is super yummy and affordable, plus you can add on extra bites if you want to try more. We'll definitely be going back to try more flavors and check out their wine pairing options next time. Such a great experience from start to finish!
This place had awesome cheesecakes but even better customer service! In St. Augustine for a weekend, we sought out Bar Harbor for dessert one night. When we arrived, we were surprised to learn about the need for reservations to enter the establishment. But, to our delight, one of the owners was outside gate keeping and she entertained us, informing us about how the place came to be, reviewing their sweet and savory options, and encouraging us to return for a sit down experience. At the counter outside, they had a sample of their offerings. We went for the pineapple upside down cheesecake and unfortunately they were out of it. So instead, we tried the strawberry banana and pina colada cheesecakes. We really enjoyed them. They weren't too dense and they were packed with flavor! Prices are a bit steep for the 4inch rounds, ranging from $15-$22 but kudos to the excellent customer service, even on the porch outside the restaurant.
Service and ambiance of the restaurant were incredible. Food itself amazing and fun. I was skeptical about the savory cheesecakes because I'm not the biggest fan of cream cheese, but I loved them - especially the taco one. Our group tried all of them. For dessert I tried the blueberry crumble, cherry amaretto tiramisu, and mudslide. My husband tried the bananas foster, key lime, and mudslide. So much fun, such a creative menu, and honestly delicious cheesecake!!
We visited Bar Harbor Cheesecake and had such a great experience. The shop felt inviting and genuinely friendly from the moment we walked in. We ordered the German cheesecake along with hot chocolate topped with marshmallows and whipped cream, and everything was packaged so thoughtfully in the cutest Christmas bag. We sat in the back porch where they had a large screen TV playing The Grinch, which made it such a fun stop for our toddler. Add in the beautiful Christmas decor and the cozy vibe on a cold night, and it was honestly the perfect setting for our family. We'll definitely be back to enjoy the full experience.
What a fun and unique experience! My husband and I got a night from our kids last minute and we hadn't really planned anything! So we decided to go downtown and enjoy walking around! We stopped and got an appetizer at one restaurant and decided we really wanted a good place for dessert after! I had heard how fun this place was so it was perfect timing! They have a unique seating system and truly want to make it an "experience" which I thought was so unique and fun! The ambiance is dark(not too dark) with some lighting around the tables to give a romantic feel and adding in some nice soft music! Now I will say a slice of cheesecake was pricey so we opted out for the cheesecake flog by which was the PERFECT option! We each chose our own that we wanted to try and the portion sizes were perfect! I choose all chocolate/peanut butter ones and my husband chose all vanilla/caramel style ones! I would definitely go back to try more!! They give you complementary teas/iced tea as well! The pineapple cleanser was a very interesting touch and super delicious! Also I loved that it was an old house that they turned into private style seating areas! Very cozy and romantic!
The most magical place and so beautiful. We ran across Bar Harbor on accident while looking at Christmas lights but , something pulled us in from the moment we walked in it was like going back in time . Bal Harbor is a vintage house restored and it's absolutely beautiful and was decorated with Nut Crackers all around. We had the Wine Flight, Cheesecake Flight and several chocolates and all were divine my favorite wine was the sweet cranberry. Bar Harbor is intimate and very special and would also make a perfect spot for a engagement
Had a great time! Will recommend to friends and family. We ordered the savory cheesecake flight not expecting to enjoy it but simply because we where an vacation and willing to try something different. It was actually good, the gyro one was the best. Also ordered a sweet flight and they gave us another flavor for free!
We had Great customer service. We liked that they're open until 11:11pm not many things are open late around here minus a few pubs & maybe a couple places to eat. I want to note we ordered our cheesecake to go. Which is all done outside. We got the birthday cake & blueberry. The flavor was there for us just not the texture. We thought it resembled more like a softened, whipped cream cheese out of the tub. I wouldn't be against sharing a piece & sitting outside on their bench at night with the lights. Their outside is nicely lit up.
What an amazing experience from beginning to end. We had wine and cheesecake flights. The wines are all crisp and sweet. The cheesecakes are extraordinary. The flights of cheesecake and wines are $5 each. The iced tea is free. Service is very friendly. Thaddeus will greet you at the door and he is incredible and name and face recollection. We ended the night with dessert at @barharborcheesecakecompany. We were going to get sweets, but Mah Wife, born and bred in Alabama, saw they had a charcuterie board that included a big ol' honkin' pickled pig's foot, she got as giddy as a 12-year-old school girl. So we started things off with a completely pickled charcuterie with the aforementioned pig's foot, pickled eggs, sausage, beets, strawberries, artichoke hearts, a baguette, and a small portion of shrimp and grits to relieve the palate from all the lip-puckering pickled-ness. This was my first-ever pig's foot, pickled or otherwise. I didn't hate it. I don't think it'll be on my regular rotation, but it was fine. The pickled eggs were delicious as well as the sausage. I didn't care for the pickled strawberries. It...was a lot. But now on to the reason we came here in the first place. The delectable cheesecake. We got a couple of cheesecake flights. You get three sample bites of cheesecake for only $5. Each additional choice is $1.75-$2 depending on choice. We got the King Crab cheesecake out of curiosity. Before you make that face, in reality, it's a crab and shrimp dip in the form of a cheesecake. The Florida Orange Dream tasted just like an orange dreamcicle and had more of a pudding consistency than that of a cheesecake. The Apple Streusel cheesecake was my favorite. The best parts of an apple crumple pie in a cheesecake. The Maple Bacon cheesecake is a classic combination with huge maple flavor and sizable bacon pieces. The blueberry lemon was Mah Wife's favorite. Tart and refreshing. The Glazed Donut cheesecake was a classic vanilla cheesecake with bits of donut and vanilla glaze. The Key Lime cheesecake was another tart and bright cheesecake and a great way to finish the flights. With the exception of the King Crab and Florida Orange Dream cheesecakes, all of the others had a light, fluffy, whipped texture. These aren't your dense, freezer section cheesecakes. These a more refined, intensely flavored cheesecake that you probably won't find anywhere else. Next time you're in St Augustine, check out Bay Harbor Cheesecake Company. read more
What a strange strange place. Mediocre cheesecakes, hit or miss service, overpriced, and an odd setup. To start, we walked in and had to wait ten minutes while another customer was being served. That's all well and good except there were two other employees walking around. So it's our turn, we tell her it's a party of three for a wine and cheesecake tasting. She tells someone on a walkie-talkie, who proceeds to seat us but thought it was a party of two. Easily corrected, and we are seated. Water, tea and pineapple are complimentary but the hot water was cold. New water was brought but not a new tea bag so it was cold again by the time it was replaced. Our server seemed very scattered and overwhelmed. Next we order the wines, none of which are my type, but I wanted to try something new. Lots of fruit wines and sweet red blends. We order a flight and it comes out before we even order cheesecake. Positive note, flights are super cheap at $7 for three 1 ounce pours. Cheesecakes ordered: dark chocolate raspberry, chocolate espresso truffle, amaretto, original, hazelnut and key lime. All were fine but nothing out of the ordinary. The amaretto was my favorite as it had a nice light fluffiness. The espresso truffle was so dense and thick it was almost gummy. If you don't order the flight, wine and cheesecakes are very expensive. Cheesecakes are small and range from 14-40. The savory "cheesecakes " are basically just a quiche. Lastly, we ordered two chocolates from the case up front. We were told they are from Indiana, very sought after but exclusively sold in few places and give Belgian/Swiss chocolate a run for its money. False advertising. For $4.50 a pop, they taste like chocolates you might pick up while waiting in the checkout line at a Walgreens. read more
Ugh!! Something about walking around St. Augustine during christmas is just so magical. We walked by this adorable little what looks like a house lit up looking cozy and prefect. So we walked up the little sidewalk and was greeted by two sweet ladies that had a cooler display of all sorts of truffles. We spoke to them and cracked a few jokes and then they told us about the cheesecake tasting they offer. $7 to pick 3 of your choice and you get coffee, tea or water included. I enjoyed the Iced tea my partner ordered and decided to order one for myself and the man must have forgot about it and he disappeared for quite some time but by the time I reminded him again the ice had melted and I decided to give up that this point. read more

What a magical place this is. It's a little cottage in the old town. You have to make a reservation and the cost of the reservation will go towards what you consume, we thought it was a bit odd but so worth it. Look at it as prepaying. Our server was super knowledgeable and very nice, her recommendations were on point. We had two flys of cheesecake ($9 each) and two drinks. We shared everything and everything was amazing, each bite was flavorful and soft. read more

Omg this place..... trust me you've never had cheesecake like this before! The cheesecake flights are great cause you get to try so many unique flavors. This isn't a casual place they truly are classy. Now don't freak out here but GET the savory cheesecake! Sounds weird I know but sincerely the best thing I think I have had in a while. The brisket is to die for!!!! They have such a great product I love this place it is such a true gem and so yummy! Unbeknownst to us, we visited during their grand opening weekend. Upon walking up to the restaurant, a gentleman greeted us at the gate who then radioed to someone inside. He instructed us to go up and wait on the porch and they would get us once the table was ready. Within a minute or so, another gentleman greeted us and led us to the table. They have a selection of wines from San Sebastián and Island Grove Winery (fruit wines) available by the bottle, glass, or flight, as well as some sangrias. Only bottle prices are listed on the menu, but they are all available by glass for $7. Now onto the main attraction... cheesecake flights! Who doesn't love trying a bunch of different flavors at one time?! Each flight is $5 and you can add more flavors for $1.75 each. We tried the strawberry, caramel macchiato, salted caramel, birthday cake, coffee toffee, pina colada and cookie dough. Strawberry, which was pink and infused with real strawberries, was our favorite, with salted caramel following shortly behind. The flavor list is EXTENSIVE, so there are plenty more flavors for us to try next time! Along with the cheesecakes, they also have different kinds of hummus, as well as cheese boards. This could totally be a cute date spot or for lunch with your girlfriends. It's cute and wuai inside and is basically a converted house. Staff was extremely friendly and took the time to go over the menu with us. Tables are set apart enough to maintain social distancing and are sanitized between seatings, but I did observe that none of the staff wore masks. Under normal circumstances, this would probably alter my rating, but it seems like masks are not a big thing in St. Augustine (I noticed that people who didn't wear them held the majority). The restaurant itself was very clean, and because of that and the visible sanitization, I'll leave it at 5 stars.. but I do think it should be more like 4.5. Throughout our stay, we were given various small bites of fruit and chocolate covered fruit, and before we left, we were given a complimentary St Augustine vanilla cheesecake, all as a thank you for visiting during their grand opening. A little fancy for me to be honest. $14-$18 for a piece of cheesecake is too high for me. On the plus side, they have a sampler, 3 tastes for $7, add more for $2.25 each. They also give you a free tiny glass of probably the tastiest ice tea I've ever had. The cheesecake is very flavorful. Lots of amazing flavors. The texture, is not as firm as I would have liked. The decor is beautiful. The paintings are gorgeous, especially the Santa. The servers are first class. Definitely made us feel like we were in an exclusive restaurant. The amount of time it took to get cheesecake, something that obviously pre-made and just needed to be cut, seemed excessive. read more

Omg if you are ever in town please stop by here! They only serve cheesecake flights for dine-in customers so you can't do flights to-go. It's such a cute and unique experience. The staff is so sweet here and really make you feel at home. They start you off cut up pineapple as a refreshing welcome. They have a pineapple theme going in so you'll also see pineapples all around the restaurant lol. You get a menu with so many types of cheesecakes it'll make your head spin. When you order a flight, each piece is about 2-4 bites. Our favorite was the strawberry cheesecake so be sure to choose that one! We wanted some dessert so me and my boyfriend decided to stop by here and grab some cheesecake. Little did we know it was and actual seating place ! They had waiters ready to give you the menu. We loved it and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It's perfect for a date night! You can taste 3 cheesecakes for $7. Perfect in every way! Everyone was kind, helpful, and accommodating. My wife and I chose a sampler of 4 cheesecakes out of a large and varied selection. All of the samples that we had deserved to be savored slowly, as each one was indescribably delicious. I doubt if you can find more perfect cheesecake ANYWHERE!!! We have driven by many times and have not had time to stop. We are locals and have a cottage business selling flan and cakes so we know good food! There is always an expediter to greet you as you come onto the property. He walks you to the rear porch where you select cakes to go. I love that they have them all ready and can see any other f their 40 flavors before choosing. The cheesecake interpreter I call her was so sweet and helpful isn't the selection of your choices. She will share how each tastes and we even wanted to know what it most popular. It is the chocolate peanut butter and it was sold out already when we got there on Saturday at 6:30 PM. I loved how she took her time to help us make a commitment for what to buy. We have friends who said they loved them too because of their creaminess and lightness. We selected the pina colada and lemon chiffon. Both are super delicious and would definitely order them again. Don't you love how they box it up to go? You can find a pretty spot to eat them anywhere because you have a spoon! The cemetery next door is so beautiful and you are literally 2 block from the city gates. We have not done the flight of cheesecake yet which is the tasting option of 6 different kinds as it is only done with indoor dining. The expediters did not wear masks. My favorite new place in St. Augustine! From Thaddeus who greeted us on the porch to Christopher, our server, to the manager:possibly owner that stopped by our table, it was an delightful experience. The food choices were light and refreshing after the jail tour and it was just around the corner. The air temp was just right and nice light jazz was playing. They served complimentary iced tea that had such a delicious taste we couldn't get enough. We started with the Panzanella salad and a Hummus board with three choices of hummus. Big mistake because it was SO good we had no room for a cheesecake flight. But we will be back! Interesting savory cheesecakes and sweet as well. Saturday evening, party of 4 Cheesecake tastings and wine tasting. 3 flavors for $7 Everyone enjoyed all the flavors. Staff is very nice. This is not a quick stop - plan to spend an hour here. You will be seated at a table and served and you will be surprised how long it takes to get 3 pieces of cheesecake. Hello Yelpers!! Ive been meaning to add this review of my visit to this little spot. As usual I am very honest about my experience and this one, unfortunately, was not a WOW for me as I was expecting. Service was ok. Its a small spot but I can see it being a nice date night or girls night out. So in reading about the place it talks about cheesecake and wine pairings. I made reservations to try it out. We get there the hostess was extremely charming, we get seated immediately. First thing I notice was the room temp, it was hot! The fan was just blowing hot air but I was more focused on the treats! We ordered the charcuterie board for 2. It was really good only it had quite a bit of nuts on it Im not really a big fan but for those with allergies yeah not so much! We get the menu with wines and the cheesecake one as well. Great options for cheesecakes my only complaint was we had no clue what to pair with dessert. It would have been great to maybe get a few suggestions. I felt like the staff was clueless on this. It would have created the WOW experience for me. Im not a big wine drinker but I do enjoy it from time to time. I did enjoy the desserts, fresh great flavors. Please please fix the air conditioner Fl is way too hot and who can enjoy the treats in extreme heat. Also another suggestion maybe creating a section on the menu with suggested wine and cheesecake pairings that would be really nice for first time or inexperienced wine drinkers. read more
This was definitely a cute experience. The gentleman who was upfront was very kind and informative while we waited for our table. He gave us great recommendations and insight for our first time coming here! We got the cheesecake flight with oreo, pistachio, cherry, and I can't remember the last one. Maybe caramel crunch or something like that? Highly recommend the pistachio if you want something different! Very nice, light flavor. The staff was very friendly and the gentleman was on top of keeping our small water glasses full. I love the pineapple that he brought us while we waited. The only small downside was it was a very hot day and the inside was kind of warm. But I would definitely go back! It's such a fun experience and just the right amount of cheesecake after a big meal. What an incredible experience at this hidden gem! Employee owned (19 folks), located in historic St Augustine in a 101 year old home...specializing in cheesecake, chocolates, other amazing food items that I didn't get a chance to eat. I ordered a cheesecake flight with a wine flight, specifically picked to complement the cheesecake. Wow...every selection was amazing. Just wow. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend the cheesecake testing, but the other menu items looked amazing as well. I will go back...in fact, I did buy a cheesecake to go it was so good. Our experience here was amazing! There were 3 of us and all ordered 3 different cheesecakes to taste. We tried: coffee toffee cinnroll, lemon chiffon, Florida orange, very berry, pineapple upside down, black berry, piña colada, blue raspberry and mint chocolate. The top favorite was very berry! The next favorite was the chocolate mint. The chocolate was really good. If you like blue raspberry icees, that's what that reminded me of. Not a favorite. It was fun to see, but too sweet in our opinion. The atmosphere was amazing. It's super small with only 20 seats. If you're in a rush, this is not the place for you. We were the only ones there and it was about an hour. We were offered complimentary water, tea or sweet tea. It is worth the time if you have time. Would definitely go back. If you don't have time for a tasting, pick a couple to go! read more

Stopped here at the end of a long day of walking, because I wanted to try the cheesecake platter. My waiter, Christopher was so kind. I did not catch the womans name out front, but she was a gem. The place was cozy, and the complimentary hot tea was exactly what I needed after a somewhat cool walk. Great place to decompress. I'm going to try to make it a point to stop here every time I visit. Wine and Cheesecake flights!?!?!? WHAT!?!? Yes. Exactly that. This cute little family and friend operated cheesecake place is amazing. The first night that we tried to come in, it was packed and we didn't want to wait. So we ordered a full cheesecake in the back to go. First of all... WOW. I think the amount of flavors they offer puts cheesecake factor into shame. It's quite a list and the most popular sell out quickly. We ordered the cookie dough one to go and destroyed it back in the hotel room. It was soo good, we left in the middle of our ghost tour to get in line and eat here. We both got the wine flight and cheesecake flights. Both of the flights are $5 each for 3 flavors. Personally, I ended up LOVING one of the white sangrias. IT WAS AMAZING. And the cheesecakes...WOW. I can't even remember the flavors anymore because it was sooo good and i want to try them all! read more

The cheesecake tasting was amazing. You can try 3 cheesecakes for $9! Not to mention that they all were so delicious. Staff was super nice and helpful, made the experience so much better. Got recommended this place from people around town, and it was even better than advertised. Cheesecake and wine tasting - what ?! This was more than just a bakery with a case to choose from. This was an experience. The cheesecake and wines that were recommended were all phenomenal. Customer service was even better. Ambiance was great as well. Big 5 stars on everything about this place. Adorable little place hidden from the main historic area of St. Augustine. We had lunch across the street and decided to stop in for a cheesecake flight for dessert. It's located in a beautiful old house that still has its charm and quirkiness. We picked the glazed donut, cookies and cream and lemon blueberry plus ordered the maple bacon on the side. They were all creamy, delicious and the perfect size to share. We couldn't believe that the sampler of three selections was only $5. It's such a fun idea. Plus they offer you free iced tea. The lemon blueberry was our favorite. It had the tangy lemon flavor but was balanced very well by the blueberry. All the staff were lovely and we had a great conversation with the owner while waiting outside. read more

Great personal service, though a little slow at times. The host was attentive and friendly and chatted with people outside while they waited. It's a small, intimate house and set up to be a quick in-and-out I think, though they have some larger plates and shareable items. Huge selection of cheesecakes, but many were crossed out as they sold out. Really wanted to try the lemon chiffon but it was sold out. You get to choose 3 cheesecakes to taste for 10-12$ or so. Server recommended the peach and the king crab savory cheesecake which were both delicious. I tried the blackberry one also, but didn't love that one. Also did a wine tasting. The wines were very fruity but not overly sweet. They did have a unique wine made from blueberries instead of grapes, and it was good, so I bought a bottle. They don't ship or have packaging for it, but I think it's a place meant to be enjoyed locally and by the tourists in the area. Would return. read more

This was the perfect date spot in St. Augustine! Cheesecake from here was immaculate! Nice and light. Not too heavy in the stomach. The waitstaff was very friendly and explained the menu thoroughly. We got a bottle of sangria that was lovely and a good complement to the various cheesecake flavors. Our favorite flavors were Birthday Cake, Strawberry Lemon, and Turtle Royale. For the tasting, each flavor comes out with a couple bites and a couple tiny forks. S'mores came out even a little toasted with a blowtorch for the melty effect! While the tastings are dine-in only u can also get 4-inch cheesecakes to go. We got the turtle royale to go and it kept well! read more

What a spectacular place! We came last Saturday night and had wine and cheesecake flights! Everything was delicious! The service was wonderful! It was very peaceful inside and relaxing. The cheesecake was amazing. read more

We stop to eat a flight of 5 cheesecakes at Bar Harbor Cheesecake Company. Absolutely delicious but I had my 2 faves...the Khaula & the cordial cherry. They have over 100 different types. Amazing. Very presentable & plesent atmosphere. We were brought in by our food tour guide Alex of St Augustine Experience. This location is also a spot of the rare Love tree. Absolutely beautiful read more

Delicious cheesecakes! Over 40 flavors which makes it so hard to choose just one ! I am not sure it gets any better than wine and cheesecake in one places right next to the lovers tree ! Thank you for excellent service, hospitality, and deserts! read more
