Found ourselves at Bar Bianco last weekend while we were in the waitlist for Pizzeria Bianco! They seem to have a great arrangement with the establishment next door and you are technically required to be here while waiting after a certain point. It's an old house, so naturally full of character and a cozy space. The bar in one room with various rooms with different types of seating. They also have a basket of blankets if you want to sit in the grass out front. Perfect for cooler Arizona days. They also have a few shelves of games which is great, especially when waiting for extended times! The menu seems pretty simple. Primarily wine and beer, but they has a few whiskeys. We also got their house bread which was quite tasty! You order at the bar and sit down, so not full service, for at least that night. Only downfall is one bathroom for whole place and the line backs up fast, but that's to be expected when built out of a house. Enjoyable place to wait in the vicinity or the occasion, nothing particularly stand out to go out of your way for, but would return!

Wiseguy and Rosa

What a cool place. Busy busy busy! Got there about 10 minutes after they opened and valeted the car. We sat at the last open table. Ordered the Rosa (rosemary pistachio), wiseguy (added salami) and sunny boy (added pepperoni). Wanted to try so many other things but ran out of room. The line outside got longer and longer so kinda hurried up so others could experience it too. Absolutely delicious. Will go back again next time we're in town.

Chilling at the bar is a must when you're waiting for your table. Located in the next building over. Small appetizer menu and drinks. The staff is friendly and the inside decor is charming. They even have board games to play while you wait.

Lovely place for a cocktail done right. Friendly bar staff and a patio that's perfect when the weather is nice. The bartender's fave off-menu negroni was just what I wanted and B's manhattan was tasty, too. Recommend!

There are few things I love more than a perfect little barn with amazing cocktail creations. Bar Bianco EXCELS in this and if I lived nearby would be pickling myself here daily. After a work trip, the BF and I found ourselves looking for some fun things to do. Usually, our trips revolve around finding the best food and bars. This was no exception. But after so much of that, we looked at nearby museums. The Science Museum was nearby and that became our focus. After which we were hungry and went to Pizza Bianco (located next door to Bar Bianco) since the bar wasn't open until 4pm. After our dinner we meandered over to Bar Bianco. We were the only patrons on this lazy Monday afternoon, which was just fine by us. The layout was kept the same and is quite charming and unique. To your right is the actual bar, and to your left is an open foyer with several small tables to sit and relax. We opted for the bar top, which provided us with a little more social interaction with the bartenders. The menu is perfectly sized with just enough for any cocktail connoisseur. My two cocktails turned out to be MAGNIFICENT. The first was the Fig Leaf Daquiri made with Pineapple Rum, Housemade fig leaf liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup. This drink was refreshingly delightful and delicately blended. The fig-leaf was green and fresh, unexpectantly uncloying blended with the pineapple rum. It was truly perfection on this warm Arizona day. Second, was the Bergamot Flip which was made in a Pisco Sour way (raw frothy egg). So avoid if you're weird about that. If not, you'll be delighted with the texture the egg white creates in this enchanting herbaceous beverage. I suppose what made our experience perfection was a culmination of five star items: quality of beverages, service, knowledge, and overall awesome venue. It was simply a wonderful way to end our Phoenix trip.

Chris Bianco is the celebrity chef of Phoenix. My girlfriend who lives in Phoenix says he has restaurants throughout the area. He's known for his Italian and neopolitian pizzas. We had to check him out! We actually went two nights for a four day weekend. The first night a wine pairing dinner. The last night ended with a bunch of his infamous pies! I loved the pizza pies, especially the Rosa, the one with pistachios. The decor is very welcoming and the service is outstanding.

My husband and I were I search of a wine and cheese date night! We decided Bar Bianco since we have never been here. The location is in central Phoenix in an old house which is awesome! The ambience is dim light, hipster, and romantic. The wine selection isn't very broad but there is a little bit of everything. Bar Bianco is local so has AZ wines and local food. We ordered an antipasto dish and the goat cheese crostini. Both delicious! The antipasto had delicious grilled veggies, cheese, and salami. Great flavor! Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. She checked on us multiple times. We will be back in the future!

Lovely spot for a cocktail or glass of wine. Convenient while waiting for your table at Pizzeria Bianco - but worthy of a trip all its own.

Ask the Community - Bar Bianco

Is there patio seating?

Yes, if I recall correctly there is. Plus some picnic tables too. I'll post a picture of what I found so you have an idea. Was hoping to attach it here but doesn't look like that's an option.

We stopped by Wren & Wolf to collect our boarding passes and sat down to relax in the lounge until we got closer to boarding time. We then walked around the building to the dimly lit entrance and waited behind the ropes. At exactly the boarding time, the captain opened the doors and greeted us. We walked by the check-in area, and our tickets were checked. The stewardesses then gave us a pair of wings. This flight was to Tokyo and the travel warning mentioned kaiju activities. Glancing into the seating area it was shaped like a luxury plane with windows and ample space to move around. At the back of the plane were seats wrapping around and the cabin was very beautifully decorated. Towards the front of the aircraft, there was a beautiful bar. The photos in the advertisements are not photoshopped the place is amazing. The stewardesses escorted us to our seats and they were very comfortable. Depending on group size you either get a small table for two or for 4. This reminded us of the movie Soul Plane lol. Kiki and Madie were our stewardesses on the flight and started us with a complimentary drink and some peanuts. As we were taking off you could see the plane taking off through the windows and you could feel vibrations on the floor as if the plane was rolling. Then once in the air they played a large selection of music. Keep an eye out the windows because you will see strange things like we spotted King Kong and then while in flight we saw Ghidorah fly by and I think I got a glimpse of Mothra, but was not sure. Kiki and Madie were amazing they kept the drinks flowing and we watched the captain make drinks because he was also the bartender. We then ran into turbulence and into a storm and spotted Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and Ghidorah amidst the dark clouds and lightning. Then at this time the martini carts came around serving handcrafted martinis at your table side. After we got out of the dark clouds there was a tasty cookie and more drinks. The service was amazing. Kiki and Madie were Rockstars and were very efficient at their jobs. They provided light conversation and were knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. When we got close to Tokyo and were ready to land there was a last call and we could see Tokyo from the windows as we did our final approach. The whole experience was well worth it and each flight is different. We spoke to some other passengers who have been on other flights and they can't get enough of it. The captain's quarters section in the front of the plane served some The flight time was 90 minutes and there is a bathroom on the plane. The restaurant itself is hidden inside another called Coabana, but there is a door clearly labeled Cocktails to get to it. It was perfect to converse and enjoy drinks with friends! This time we went with some friends, and each of us could not stop talking about how good everything was! We started with In To The Blue shots for the table, which were so good we wished we had sipped them. Then we ordered our first round of drinks and food. We shared a plate of nachos and they had the perfect balance of toppings and chips, then my partner and I ordered some tacos and a Cubano Sammie. The sandwich was delicious, much better than the average Cubano I've come across in Phoenix. The tacos were also great, and $11 for 3 was a steal! Our friends also got tacos, which they enjoyed. My partner ordered Cupid's Dagger and the Insomniac to drink, and she loved both of them! Cupid's Dagger was also served with a bubble of smoke and it was on a little silver tray, which was cool. I ordered the Son of a Peach and Femme Fatale, and they were both delicious. The Femme Fatale was also served inside of a wooden cake tray filled with smoke, which was a very cool experience and added to the flavor of the drink.
