There's some general outside seating, but the the shop is too small to have indoor seating (I ended up waiting for my drink outside because it can hold about 2 people before it gets awkward). The service itself is great--ordering and receiving my drink happened quickly, and the drink I ordered came with an osmanthus syrup that I could definitely taste (there were bits of the osmanthus in the drink, which could be a plus or minus depending on personal preference). The matcha was fragrant, and I did enjoy my drink. I will say that it does err on the pricy side, at around $7-9 per drink. I liked my drink, but maybe not enough to justify the cost, especially considering there isn't any space to sit down and relax. Definitely worth a shot if you're interested in some of their more unique items, but probably not a regular stop, at least for me.

One thing I appreciated was the large screen that shows the status of your order, so you always know where you are in the queue. Our drinks took a little over 10 minutes, but they were worth the wait. The brown sugar flavor was rich and delicious without being overly sweet. The boba had a nice chew to it, slightly firmer than I personally prefer, but still very good. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cup size. It's comparable to some of my favorite boba spots, yet comes at a more affordable price. With so many great places to eat in this shopping center, I know we'll be back, and this will definitely be one of our regular stops whenever we're in the area.

They tell me AFTER ringing me up that they have no change. WTF. To be clear, this is not an employee problem. It is a training and operations protocol problem. That's owned by management. 30 minutes later, my drinks are done. No one calls my number--I just have to eye the pickup to make sure they're not swiped. They fumble with the drink cups as they load up my bag. I drive off and realize they've literally messed up every possible parameter. Too much ice (I asked for none). No extra boba (I paid for this). Each cup had maybe a teaspoon full tops (are they that desperate to scrape by?). And the drinks didn't even taste like anything. $9.00 for straight up 2% milk. They neglected to add a single other ingredient. One would have to actively try to screw up this bad. It was like the episode of the Simpsons where all of Springfield come together to rebuild Ned Flanders' house after the hurricane. The citizens were well-intentioned, even though they knew so little about what they were doing, they installed a toilet bowl next to the refrigerator. If you're a customer reading this and this location is your go-to Heytea, I'm sorry this flavorless disaster house is the only Heytea you've known. Would not be a stretch to say a six year old could run a lemonade stand more efficiently.

It tastes the most like a HK milk tea with light floral notes. The white champaca oolong is really good the floral notes hit at the end which I really enjoy. It's quite different than the premium jasmie where the florals hit your right at the beginning and I feel is the strongest. The white champaca lingers at the end. Visting San Jose for the first time and meet many old friends. They suggested we try this Bambe desserts. I ordered the 7 kinds of beans and jelly with coconut. It was delicious! My mom ordered Avocado smash with durian and she said it was excellent. My husband ordered Xam Xa hat Luu (3 kinds of Jelly with coconut) and he love it! In general, all drinks/deserts are good and I would come back to try several more drinks before I leave San Jose. This place make me feel like VN because the taste of the deserts drink! Hands down- I'm addicted to this stuff! This place serves pretty bomb che!!! I used to always get the #1 Bambu Special (pandan jelly, coconut, longan, and basil seed) but my new favorite is #10 Suong Sao Hat Luu- it has grass jelly, red tapioca, and pandan jelly in coconut milk. YUM! Simple, easy to eat and drink. Very delicious. I like how the red tapioca (hat luu) gives the dessert a slight crunchy texture and the pandan jelly is just pure goodness. Bambu is a great beverage dessert spot. Their che is really good! I like this spot specifically because when you ask for "extra", they will literally give you more. Like other locations, Bambu is pretty quick when it comes to ordering and finishing the drinks. This place is small like the others and has a flat screen TV that plays music videos. I come here every summer with my sons after our hair cut across the street. luan is a nice man. Both the toppings made the drink quite sweet even with the low level of sweetness, so I'd keep this in mind for future orders, but overall a pretty standard milk tea. Not bad. Worker was very efficient and polite. Store was clean and there's plenty of seating. Solid boba place.

Subtracting a star because I always end up feeling hoodwinked by the app promos. However, if you come in and order via the kiosk, the promos won't even be recognized and a lot of times toppings are missing from the list even though you can clearly see drinks being made with that topping by the workers as you are ordering. Seems like the only way to use a promo is to order with a human, but the workers are often so busy that they don't come to the register and point you towards the kiosk. I love the drinks and that they now have snacks (even if the fries changed to be skinny fries), but they really need to stop pretending to have promos and then have all of their technology fail you out of it so you can't get it.

I just wish my order had been added to the account. Oh well! My drink was made fairly quickly as I was the only person there. O V E R A L L I don't gravitate to Teaspoon for drinks and I think after this experience, I can say I just am not a Teaspoon person. But will I come back? Sure cause I still have a gift card. Maybe I'll stick to their other drinks and not their milk tea.

M E N U Happy Lemon is known for its lemon drinks as well as their puff drinks. The puff drinks are definitely a dessert. Hefty. What was quite shocking was the price of the toppings were $1 for even boba. When did just a black milk tea with boba start at almost $8? I had to clasp my pearls. But you know what, it's fine, I'm donating to a local-ish business. How was my drink? It was milky and tea-y and delicious. So I guess I'll just enjoy my $8 drink. And who doesn't love a drink that's winking at you? S E R V I C E I ordered from a tablet/kiosk and paid by card easily. Apparently they updated their app so I had to reregister my email to get points. I guess it's been a while since I've gone to a Happy Lemon. Drinks came out in no time at all. O V E R A L L Although the price was a bit shocking, the quality of the drink is there so I don't mind paying it. I like a creamy milk tea so it was delicious. It is a little awkward to get to this place. But it's nice to have another option on my way home.

Stopped by and ordered an original milk tea at 50% sweetness with boba, which is typically my go-to…read moreorder and the drink I use as a litmus test whenever I'm trying a new boba spot. Perhaps 50% sweetness at Tea Top is closer to 25% at other places like Gong Cha, Feng Cha, CHICHA San Chen, or Molly Tea, because my drink tasted surprisingly diluted. It wasn't just lacking sweetness--the tea flavor itself didn't come through very strongly either, which left the overall drink tasting a bit watered down. The boba was also fairly bland and didn't add much flavor to the drink. Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly excited to finish this one, so my first experience was a bit of a miss. That said, I've seen plenty of positive reviews and they have a pretty extensive menu, so I'm willing to give them another shot. Next time I'm in the area, I'll probably try one of their top drinks and go for higher sweetness percentage to see if I have better luck!

It's pretty much similar to the one in Union City due to how it's set up here except that they have a sofa. Again, not many people here but it's during the weekday probably. Oh yeah...I went on a weekend and it's slightly less people at Union City location. Anyways, I wanted to try their Ube products since they seem to be more focused on them. I mean look at some of their products. They have Ube crinkles, Ube lattes, Ube cupcakes, etc. I decided to try their Pumpkin Spice Ube Latte. Quite Ubelicious to be honest. No wonder they're too focus on those type of products. I can't tell if I tasted pumpkin spice more than Ube or vice versa. That goes to show how well they blended this drink. Looking forward to trying their other products though I'm not interested into their sandwiches. Looks like something I can make at home, but it can be worth a shot.
