    #8 Combination Noodle Soup

First time visiting this spot. I used to go to them when they were across the street which was a bigger restaurant. The parking can get frustrating and challenging in this crowded strip mall. Ambience: cozy bench table seating like all TK Noodle restaurants. Very plain, simple, and ordinary decor. One single user unisex restroom. Food: #8 Combination Noodle Soup - my go to dish. A combination of assorted proteins in a savory yet simple chicken broth with egg noodles. The one thing that I noticed was the they didn't give you much of that fried chicken fat that gives you that crunch and texture profile. Ice Milk Coffee - Strong yet smooth and sweet without that bitterness. Service: The one lady running the entire restaurant was nice and patient. Overall, 3.5 stars. Still a good place to get your noodle fix.

Consistent with the other locations. The broth is slightly more savory than the other locations, but maybe because I got to go! I love savory so this was great. I got togo #9, the broth came on the side and the food in a bowl separately. This is a warm and filling dish, definitely worth it! The food comes out very fast as well!

Small area but clean. Broth was hot a flavorful. There's definitely a large amount of MSG in the broth. Chicharon for soup was hard and not crispy. Service was not as inviting but quick to get food.

I wish I could've given this location a better review but I was not happy with the food I got here. I got the combination chow fun, which is my usual order at the other TK Noodle locations but it tasted burnt. I had a hard time finishing my food and I felt sick for a couple of days after this meal. My husband enjoyed his wonton noodle soup, but we also shared their fried egg flour cake, which we were disappointed by. It had less flavor and the red vinegar sauce tasted a lot different than other locations. The service here was alright - no frills which I'm okay with. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning but I hope other people have a better time here.

The beef stew is definitely my favorite. Service is fast as always. Definitely would come back!

TK noodles been around the Bay Area for a while and few are left. If you are looking for decent Vietnamese/Chinese noodles or rice dishes stop by TK. TK Noodles house has a variety of dishes to choose from. The dishes come out fairly quick. The cafe su da or Vietnamese coffee was kind of bland and in a small cup for the price.

No wait on a Saturday evening. It's been years since I've visited a TK Noodle. First time at this location and it was very nostalgic and reminded me of the old times. We shared the fried egg flour cake, #1 combination rice stick soup, and #4 beef ball rice stick soup. Loved the fried egg flour cake! It's so good with the dipping sauce and the other sauces that are on the side of the table. #1 is usually my go-to. The meat was kind of stringy and not tender but my expectations aren't too high here for quality meat tbh. I mainly just love the comforting thick rice noodles and broth. Very simple and hearty. Good comfort food!

Today, I'm in the South Bay Area. I felt like doing some TK Noodle today. I'm here at TK Noodle #5 in Milpitas this early morn. I've been to a lot of their locations, but this is the second time in the last year I've been to one of their newer Shops around here. I'm here for my usual Hủ Tiếu Bò Satế, Bột Chiên Khoai Môn, and Cup of Milk tea. I've had this a lot of times already, and I had to do it again because it's that good, and it seems like I'm never tired of it. And the củ cải mặn, or pickled or preserved Radish 菜脯 gets me everytime. It was kinda Spicy, just like how I like it. I give this 4.2/4.3 stars out of 5 stars. It was some really good Noodles.

I want to start the review with some key points: 1.) DO NOT ORDER FROM DOOR DASH The item prices are significantly more expensive if you choose Door Dash and you are picking up Example: #1 Combination Rice Stick Soup Door Dash Price = $15.50 Regular Price in-store = $12.50 Mark Up = +$3 or +24% Ridiculous. If you can, just go to the store and order and it will be ready in 10 minutes 2.) 4% Charge if you are using credit card (regardless of the amount) 3.) "To-Go" Surcharge PER ITEM of around ~$0.50. For example, if you order 3 to-go items, its $0.50 x 3 = $1.50 [[ Other than that ]] - Parking is plentiful but it can get packed pretty quickly. The spaces are a good size but the turn-in radius from the middle of the lane is difficult so may be harder for larger sedans and SUV's - Service is meh. Everyone there seems annoyed at you but they will serve you without issue. Could just be the standard way this place treats customers. - Food. Happy to report portion sizes are still generous and the food taste like the classic TK Noodle of old as I remembered it as a kid. I'm glad they didn't shut down for good when they closed their main location across the street in the Lion's Plaza. [[ Conclusion ]] This place (or new place) has a lot of memories for me. I probably have gone to TK Noodle more than 100 times since I was a kid with my parents. It's good to see that the new smaller shop in the next door plaza still has the same taste as the past. Really brings back the feels. Price wise though, I definitely miss the $5.00 to $6.50 of old. At $12.50+, it's getting up there in the price category for noodles and it could be a tough decision to choose this over other places. However, if you ever want a nostalgia kick, thankfully it's still here.

As one of my friends once said, "nostalgia is the greatest seasoning". Grew up eating TK noodle since 2 whole decades ago, and to this day it's still one of my South Bay favorites. There's something about their noodle soup that just hits different even though the meat is kinda overcooked.

So good! Food is always freshly made and hot. It's so delicious. Service is good too.

Credit cards accepted. For soup noodle bowls, this place is pretty decent during Labor Day weekend. Inexpensive at $14-$15 per bowl. Beverage prices are lower than most. It's pretty much like Luu noodles/TK noodles/New Tung Kee/similar spots with same menu selections. I actually like this location on Milpitas Blvd. off Dixon Rd. instead of driving over to Luu noodles spot on Calaveras Blvd. during weekends and holidays. Cashier lady is friendly here. It's a much smaller setting inside, less busy, and much cleaner. You can tell they wipe down everything here. Small restaurant, casual, but good. Beef stew noodle soup wasn't too salty or bland. Combination noodles were good. Sauce bottled were filled up to the top. Some of these places really have it all together and well organized. No lines or crowds this Labor Day weekend. There's not many staffs here, so give them credit for working hard. Love these low key environments. Quiet for sure. Public restroom is available onsite. Overall, good tasting soup noodles that meet the standards. Legit.

Got a to-go order! Paid in cash which was cheaper but when the dude was handing my cash to me, some fell in the tip jar and he giggled which was funny. 0.50 surcharge for each to go order. The food isn't as good as the Luu Noodle Locations. Lots of pickled veggies and the noodles were overcooked. Make sure you secure your drinks otherwise they will spill.

This review is for takeout delivery service…read more I ordered Beef Bone Broth Base and stacked it heavily on the meats. Pricing is pretty reasonable and quality is above average. The pork intestines were not chewy and the meat portions were pretty generous. My only gripe with the order was that they precooked the meat and placed it in a bowl sized container, and then separated the soup base in another. That caught me off guard as I was expecting raw meats like you would at any other hotpot establishment. I suppose there are pros and cons to their decision to precook the meat for me, but I would have liked to have known they would do that or have the option of receiving it pre-cooked or raw since the doneness of the meat is kind of crucial to how good the hotpot will taste for peoples preference.

After reading through some reviews, I decided to order the bone marrow fried rice, and this was easily the highlight. I'd definitely order it again next time. It came with a generously sized bone marrow bone with plenty of marrow inside. Their take on bò né, on the other hand, could be a hit or miss depending on your expectations. Unfortunately, this one was a miss for me. I appreciate the creativity behind their fusion version, but I didn't feel like the changes necessarily elevated the original dish. The meat also wasn't as tender or juicy as I would've liked. It wasn't a terrible dish by any means, but despite how interesting and tasty it looks in photos, it's probably not something I'd recommend or order again. Overall, I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu. They offer a lot of unique and creative dishes that you don't typically see elsewhere, and the bone marrow fried rice alone was good enough to make me want to return. Next time, I'd skip the bò né and use the stomach space to try a few more of their specialties!
