The Service was good, friendly server. The Breakfast Omelette was good except they don't serve ham. The food menu is high due to being in the Airport terminal. The restaurant was clean, Quiet and Casual. Conveniently located close to my flight gate. read more

I had 30 extra minutes due to United Airlines needing to change a tire on my plane that was going to Tucson from Houston at George Bush, so we went across the terminal from our gate to Bam Bam where I enjoyed a Negroni and deliciously crispy wings. My wife enjoyed a g&t while we waited. The wait didn't last long. The service was easy and I liked that we could pay up front. The Asian design of the bar was very stylish and warm with red tones and gold trims. And did I mention the wings were crispy deliciousness. Well, they were crispy deliciousness. read more

I have passed Bam Bam many times and decided to give it a try. I was trying to pull up on my phone the QR menu that was glued to the table when a server came to the table and offered to assist me and take my order. It caught me by complete surprise. I ordered a Bloody Mary and Shrimp Fried Rice. The Bloody Mary was just a standard, not that great. I miss my favourite venue that was in Terminal E that had the best Sriracha Bacon Bloody Marys. The Shrimp Fried Rice was just ok, nothing special. I'll have to be absolutely starving before I return to this venue. read more

I had the chicken fried rice. It wasn't too bad, typical American style fried rice. I was surprised that the chicken was pretty tender. Not too far off from Panda Express with some sushi options. read more

Stopped here for Breakfast. Mostly High top tables with outlets-a handful of regular tables and an abundant amount of bar seating. Located across from gate C11. Upbeat tunes piping from the speakers. Ordered just before 10 am when they stop their breakfast service. Cheddar/Bacon Omelette and added spinach, mushrooms and avocado. Asked for a soft Omelette and it came out as ordered. Stuffed with the veggies and Bacon, this was a tasty omelette. Thought the spinach would be chopped vs leaf-enjoyed the potatoes. Ordered via tablet with my server and pre-paid for breakfast. Service was friendly and helpful. Pricey for an omelette but had to remind myself I was at the airport. Solid for breakfast. read more

Miso soup was small for $7.99 but tasty. Itʻs airport pricing. Bartender was prompt to bring us menues, take our order and bring is back our soups, with napkins. Modern style restaurant. Restaurant appears to be available for "delivery" to patrons outside of its immediate borders, based on some reviews and QR menues by the gates. This may be a poor design. If you - in theory - double the size of your seats in an eatery but don't increase your staff, you are headed for problems. I bet their customer service would improve if this restaurant scaled back, if my thoughts are an accurate assessment. read more

Pretty disappointing when you're at the airport and found an online description and menu offering Vietnamese Cajun cuisine. When you arrive it's just "fusion" Asian food at a marked up price. There was no seafood options nor Cajun offerings. Opted for the wings and the fries. I should have known it wasn't going to good when you arrive around dinner time and it's completely empty. I should have stuck with my initial choice and gotten Panda Express. At least you know what you're getting there. read more

I just had maybe one of the worst pho soup bowls ever. Maybe I am spoiled by all of the pho places I have been to, but this was bad, the broth was a weird taste and pretty certain was not beef broth, the single piece of beef was mostly fat and chewy, the bowl was maybe half the size of pho bowls at normal restaurants. I don't have high expectations of airport food, but this was way below expectations. Also the service was bad, the waiter came to get my order and collect the bill with him adding 18% before anything was served. I should have gone to my trusted potbelly's not to far from here. read more

Bam Bam has good service. The food was very fresh and the atmosphere was good as well.

I was attracted to Bam Bam because it's more secluded, it has nice seating options and lovely, peaceful looking decor. Bam Bam is an Asian fusion restaurant located in Terminal C in Houston's airport. It is a nice choice for lunch or dinner if you have a bit of time. We had a longer layover and this would be our only decent meal lunch & dinner. We picked a nice table, away from the airport's craziness. The menu has many cool options, unfortunately they have no print menu-s, just QR code or screens which they change when you try to make your decision. We were tired and didn't want to order via phone since we were tired and didn't want to deal with another hassle while travelling. Talking to an actual person is better, in this case that would be a great example. My husband wanted the Pulled Pork Sandwich, they have it on their menu, but not on QR code one when you order. Since I went to the counter, a nice waitress came to our able and got the Pulled Pork Sandwich ordered for my husband. Dealing with a human is so much better, right? I opted for the Spicy Japanese Chicken Sandwich which wasn't too spicy, nice and full of flavor. Both sandwiches came with fries, my husband enjoyed his pulled pork (although his order came later than mine, not good), nicely cooked, tender and we each got a Fat Tire on draft. There is staff around if you need more condiments, forks, etc. Prices are a tad high as you'd expect in an airport, but the food is decent here. Bam Bam has pluses and minuses. For us, it was a nice getaway between flights. Calming decor, with nice touches, a decent restaurant to try of you have a layover! read more

Run from this place. It's empty for a reason. Worst ramen I've ever had. Took 30 min to get it and zero flavor. And portion of noddles was small. I'm still starving. read more

We just wanted lunch before boarding our flight and I chose wrong! $50 for an iced coffee and a bowl. And the bowl came with--count them--two pieces of broccoli. Add to that our table was dirty. No one offered to wipe it down. My water glass had lipstick on it (frankly I looked around and none of the glasses look very clean). This place is NOT worth it! We wish we had tried another option. read more

While I waited for my flight I wanted a sweet treat and fount out this Bar/ restaurant called Bam Bam and decided to order the chocolate layer cake. I had no expectation since Airport food tend to to be not so good but wow! What a delicious cake. 10/10! The waitress was also very nice. read more

I like the music and atmosphere. You are in the airport so prices are high but expected. Nothing like a missed connection and a 6 hour layover! Bam Bam hit the spot, additional beers not pictured, lol. Got an old fashioned, which was made really well. Not too sweet and well balanced. Also tried the salt and pepper wings. The wing chicken quality was good. Nice and crispy too but needs some sauce to spice it up a bit. You order through a QR code. Service was friendly and prompt. read more

Complete crap. I sat at the bar and ordered w my phone. The smoked brisket bowl. At least 1/2 of it was just fat. The entire thing was way over salted - and I like salt. Oh and it was $35. Total rip off. read more

Ordered: Buffalo egg rolls, they were crispy! But the order only came with 3 rolls. The chicken was room temp which leads me to believe they were previously frozen. Brisket bowl, 2 slices of brisket, no cucumbers included. The slaw was just wilted iceberg salad, warmed. $28. Chicken wings, good and crispy. Bulgogi fries. Decent! Took 25+ min for our food to come out and they only had 5 tables in the entire restaurant. read more

Ugh. Really not good. Had the Smoked Brisket Bowl. It had such a weird taste, almost like eating spam with lots of salt. The brisket was cut into tiny pieces and really didn't taste like brisket. Many pieces were basically just fat content and no meat. The slaw was supposed to have been toasted miso slaw and it was just shredded dry cabbage. Not much sauce to go with the white rice and the scallions were MIA. Sad part was how much I paid for this. Ridiculous price for what you get. I would have been better off doing Panda Express or Pickup Stix. Way too many workers around just chatting or on their phones. Yet I had to go ask someone to please deliver my drink since the food had arrived without my drink. read more

I ate a bowl of Pho here today. I am Vietnamese. I see the restaurant name written in Vietnamese so I decide to try Pho. After I finished my bowl, I asked the waiter: is the chef Vietnamese? Is the owner Vietnamese? The answer is NO to both questions. I told her the restaurant name is "very, very" Vietnamese, even with correct Vietnamese spelling but the bowl of Pho IS NOT. It is more like a dark beef stew broth, with noodles and some green leaves and onion. No taste of Pho, no bean sprout, no lemon slice serving separately. Soup is warm, not steamy hot. Meat is not sliced just a thick piece of tri-tip. I suggest the owner and the chef eat a bowl of Pho in a Vietnamese restaurant to see and taste the difference. I guess it is airport food !!! read more

Pho broth was lukewarm. No soft boiled egg as the menu indicated would be included. Hard to find an actual person to address the issues. When I found someone she was abrupt and unintereste. WiFi was slow which is likely not a restaurant issue but the only way to order was thru the sku code. read more

After reading the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect from this restaurant. It's a pain to order from your cell phone, but this isn't the first airport restaurant to do this. I didn't like having to tip in advance, though. The sweet and sour chicken bowl was large and filled with vegetables. I especially liked the large chunks of fresh pineapple that weren't overcooked. The dish had a lot of green and red bell peppers and a good amount of chicken. The server was attentive and quickly bought the sriracha sauce that I asked for. It was a fairly expensive lunch, but overall, Bam Bam's was pretty good for an airport restaurant. The place was clean with good service. They offered a variety of options, their lunch was filling and got me through another long flight. read more

$20 for Pho is expensive if the Pho is Trash and it is Trash. Also my outlet at table doesn't work. Do better.

Airport dining can be hit or miss, so often I'll just stick with what I know, but I wanted to try something different while on a short layover at IAH. I wandered the terminal a few times before deciding on Bam Bam. There are iPads at each seat, so interactions with humans is minimal - could be a positive or negative, depending. The menu isn't Viet-Cajun anymore, which is a little disappointing, but I guess I probably wouldn't order a full blown crawfish boil at an airport restaurant. The options are broadly "Asian inspired" so I ordered the Japanese chicken sandwich that comes with fries. An employee did ask me if I needed anything after I ordered, so I requested a glass of water since I didn't think to try to order that on the iPad. Well, the water never showed up, and the person who delivered my food didn't stick around long enough for me to ask. Oh well, I had my trusty water bottle. I was not super impressed with the sandwich, just due to the fact that the chicken was super thin and a bit lacking. It was 1/4" thick in most places, but it was crispy. The spicy mayo added a needed kick, and the lettuce was fresh. The fries were the saving grace! They were super hot and fresh, and perfectly fried and seasoned. If I find myself in this terminal again, I'd probably order something else or try a different spot. read more

It's expensive. And yes it's at the airport. But most of the bowl is rice. There is a smattering of red and green bell peppers with the shrimp all of which are doused in soy sauce. Most of the sauce soaks into the rice which made it feel like I was eating soy sauce with a side of rice. And a sprinkle of shrimps. Not impressed. For $30 I expect more. Even at an airport. read more

Had three things here the Beef Pho which wasn't too bad, General Tso's Chicken which was okay and a kids meal Cheeseburger. The one thing that got me was the fact the rice was way undercooked. Bam Bam is located between gate C9 and C6 at Houston Airport. I was on a business trip and had a 1.5 hr layover and decided to try this place as I landed C9 and next flight was out of C6. Visually the restaurant is inviting with tables and a bar counter. They use a QR code ordering system - which I'm not a fan of, but OK. I ordered the Beef Pho - thinking maybe it's a great pho in an unexpected place. Wouldn't that be a find? Well. I'm disappointed. Pho is not hot, too sweet and not pho rice noodles. Plus the noodles were overcooked. Is it Pho if pho noodles are not used? Maybe in Houston pho and ramen are synonymous? Regardless, why did I even take the chance? read more

I recognize that everything is bigger in Texas, but I didn't count on that including my frustration with this miserable excuse for an eatery. We should have listened to the people whose table we took who tried to wave us off. The restaurant uses a QR code menu for ordering and paying only the WiFi is so terrible that it doesn't actually work. So we had to flag down a server who agreed the system didn't work, and took our order. Then you have to pay before you get your food, so they have 0 incentive to do it well or even correctly. We ordered buffalo chicken egg rolls. 18 dollars each for three egg rolls in a plastic bowl, and they weren't buffalo chicken (not even 'dark meat' as the cook/server explained.) Near as we can guess they were Philly cheese steak egg rolls. So for $75 we got those and two drinks. Food was okay (if wrong) but the place is hugely overpriced and chaotic and the ordering system is a disaster. What a waste of money - wish we had gone anywhere else. read more

I have no idea why I had a layover in Houston, Texas because I thought it was Dallas Fort Worth, Texas. In any case, it was dinner time. I had chicken fried rice and California roll.
