    Yuzu Croissant
    Monica M.

The Yuzu croissant had a yuzu curd filling and half covered with white chocolate! Very unique but tasty! A lot of interesting flavours of desserts and pastries you can choose from. The service was prompt as I went when it opened. Ambiance was good, nice and clean as well.

I have Instagram stalked this place for a while. They sell bakery items with an Asian flair. I got the croissant wheel, an Ube croissant and a small custard tart. I purchased in the evening and it was just as fresh and fluffy as if it was just made. I will def be back again.

Not bad. Pretty tasty goodies. Clean place with courteous service. You can even buy a double espresso from here. They don't accept cash.

The service was prompt and efficient, and there were a few spots inside for seating. It was quiet on a Saturday afternoon when we got there, but more people started coming in afterwards, and got some iced matcha (despite the cold, haha)! The hojicha latte was tasty as well, it tasted similar to the ones we had in Japan.

That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. I understand their pain hahah)

I can imagine it being especially nice in the summer when their outdoor seating is open. That said, it was a Sunday, so it was busy. The indoor acoustics aren't great, making it quite noisy. Once the crowd started to thin out, though, the atmosphere became much more enjoyable. The owner was very warm and friendly. When she was clearing our table, she noticed I hadn't finished my spicy shrimp linguine and kindly asked if something was wrong. There wasn't the dish was actually quite good, just a very generous portion that I couldn't finish. The menu also offers a wide variety of food and drinks. One small downside: the hot drinks (at least the latte I ordered) weren't served very hot, which could be improved. The only reason I'd rate it three stars is due to one staff member, a male server who came across as quite rude. When I asked him for a spoon for my pasta, he responded with a visibly annoyed expression, which was honestly off-putting. If I didn't know he was just one of the staff, I probably wouldn't consider coming back

They assisted in getting a high chair for my baby and helping me find seating while pushing a stroller which helped greatly. The presentation of food was also amazing. I just found both my hot drink and food I ordered lacking in flavor and just average. I ordered the hojicha latte and the Wanoka omurice. Both I could barely taste anything and I know hojicha should be a rich, earthy/toasty/nutty green tea flavor but I couldn't taste any of it, just mostly steamed milk. However my friend really enjoyed her matcha latte so maybe some drinks are better than others or dependent on who makes it. The omurice also was average, the texture/consistency was great but just lacking in flavor. I also ordered a tuna onigiri that also was lacking in flavor and nothing special. However, I did find their desserts to be really great. Found their tofu cream cheese cake and green tea chiffon cake really delicious. Their prices also were a bit overpriced. Perhaps it's best to go to this place for drinks and dessert and skip out on their food.

We shared the Mango Bingsu, and it was huge--easily enough for the five of us. The flavor was a solid 9/10, super refreshing and delicious. If they had crispy corn flakes on top, it would've been a straight 10/10 for me. We also got two Dalgona Lattes, one with oat milk, and she differentiated them with the coasters, which was such an adorable touch. Now I need to go back just to try more drinks! Parking was free but a little awkward--spots are at an angle, and the plaza can get busy. But honestly, it's worth it. When we went, a few moms were catching up over bingsu, and it was such a wholesome vibe. Can't wait to be back and explore more of the menu!

Was happy to see they still carry the same menu items - especially my favourite injeolmi bingsu! (which I highly recommend). We tried the matcha croffle for the first time today. The croffle was nice and crispy and not too sweet. It was topped with matcha whipped cream(?), which was nice and light but feel as though matcha ice cream might have paired better. Service was friendly and quick as usual. There's free parking at the plaza, though a bit tricky to find a spot during peak hours (dinner-time to closing).
