Located in a big plaza with a lot of parking spots; even though there were a lot of parking spots we had to park pretty far within the same plaza. Hey I will walk a little bit for some desserts! Interior: Well lit inside, however, it was pretty pack when I went and it was stuffy. Limited on chairs and tables. It's more of a grab and go in my opinion. Food: When we were there, everything on the menu were out so the only ones I got to try were Pandan Layers ($1.50) soft and it had a hint of durian so if you don't like durian this might not be for you. Pandan Coconut Jelly ($1.50): this one I didn't taste much of the pandan Coffee Coconut Jelly ($1.50): I prefer this one because I like the coffee flavor to things Longan Jelly ($1.50): I was not fond of this flavor, it was okay to me Three Colors Dessert ($7): there were beans and jello; was not amazing Avocado Dessert ($8): I didn't expect this to come in avocado chunks and jello bits. There were not that many avocado chunks either. Flavoring was off for me. Service: The line was pretty long as it's a new dessert spot. Service was a bit slow as expected because they had a lot of orders. I would give this place another try, but this time I would try some of their baked desserts. We ordered C1 house special: toppings include red and white bean, mung bean, pan dan jelly, taro, tapioca, palm seed, Jack fruit, peanuts. (It includes durian in the drink but we requested to exclude durian since I'm not a fan of it). We asked for less ice and they gave us ice in a bag so that we can add the amount of ice to our liking ourselves. We also asked for less sugar and they gave us sugar on the side to add to our liking. We didn't need to add any extra sugar cause it was already too sweet for our liking. I'd recommend requesting for it to be even less sugar if you ask for less ice as it was too sweet even though we asked for less sugar. I've had Vietnamese desserts very similar to this so I didn't feel like it was very unique but it was still good. I really appreciate the high level of customization at this place, especially how they thoughtfully packaged ice and sugar separately, allowing you to tailor the dessert to your preferences. It was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting that. Service was fast and great! The cashier was really helpful and friendly. Ambiance: cute and trendy music They have limited indoor and outdoor seating. This place was very busy but efficient and order came out fast. We checked in for a free pastry and got the cassava! Had high expectations but def not as good as I was expecting! I got the C1 Che Dac Biet and the C2 Che Thai, as well as the longan jello, coffee jello and coconut pandan jello. All the jellos were good but the size was pretty small. The che I was really excited for but they were too sweet and not cold enough. The red tapioca was also clumped together and hard to pull apart. Our experience was just okay. The person taking our order was nice but def not as warm and welcoming as we would have liked. read more

On June 4, 2025, I stopped by the Bake & Chè Bolsa location and happened to see a kitchen staff member wearing food gloves enter the restroom. After she finished using the restroom, she came out still wearing the same dirty gloves, opened the kitchen door handle, and went straight back into the kitchen. I went to the front and spoke with the cashier about what I had just witnessed. He said he would let the staff member know to change her gloves, but he didn't ask anyone to clean the door handle that his coworker had just contaminated. I guess this place took over what used to be The Loop. Pastries came out soft and warm. The palm sugar was my favorite and had a slight gooey crisp. I asked for the 12 piece mix, but they charged me for 15 pieces. They were busy and I didn't want to go through the hassle of fixing my order, so I just accepted I was going to get 15 pieces. I only wanted the bakes, but then figured okay, I'll just try the pandan jelly too then. When they called my number, I noticed I was missing the pandan. Obvious catch since I didn't see any green in my bag. I mentioned it to them and they threw in the missing pandan. However, when I got home, I noticed I was missing a taro pastry lol. SIGH. I debated leaving 4 stars because the pastries weren't bad, but the double whoopsie made me feel kinda meh. I guess the hammer on the nail for the 3 stars is the fact that the mung bean layer in the pandan jelly tastes like durian. My mom confirmed that it was in fact durian. The menu didn't mention anything about durian, which I think is important to make publicly known. It's like having a peanut disclaimer for those with peanut allergies. This hot new place is always busy lately everytime I'm passing by! They have different baked goodies and jelly goodies. We got one of each to try and my favorite hands down is the taro baked good. It has actual taro chunks in it! The pandan durian jelly was a fun surprise because I thought it was mung bean instead of durian when I bought it. So it was a different taste (and smell) than what I expected! Also, it was the first time my kiddo tried durian with this dessert and she loooooooved it! You order in cashier once you're order is ready they call your name to claim your yummy goodies. Their dessert lacks creamy flavor component and not sugary like other dessert places. You can tell the fresh ingredients they put into each dessert. Although, price is a bit high for the quantity of item, quality makes up for it. The cafe is small, so there isn't a lot of seating inside. I came during the rain, so I can see how it can be a little inconvenient if you need a place to sit. The Coconut Smash was refreshing and the peanuts on top are a nice salty and nutty contrast to the sweet flavors. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the coffee jelly most, longan second and Pandam least.
