I am a fan of chè and a regular customer here. Today I bought chè chuối (banana ) wich is my favorite desert. After dinner I start eating it. It tastes great but then I start fell something not tasting right in my mouth so I pull it out and thought maybe it just a hair. I ate at many restaurants that have hair in their food but this hair almost make me throw up. It is thick, short and curly with only can come from under the arm or between the legs. I hope that I won't get any diseases or get sick from it, since there is a out break going on now. Btw, years ago I also got a small piece of sharp metal from their chè too.

It has been so long since I have visied this store. It was because I was craving for authentic Vietnamese desserts in Little Saigon. This spot is known for its huge variety of chè (sweet dessert soups) and traditional treats, all laid out in colorful displays that make it hard to pick just one. Pricing used to be very affordable but with inflation and after the pandemic, a lot of their items have increased in price and it is now , typically around $3-$5 each. The only negative I can say about this place is that no one speaks English and I had to ask other customes what each dessert was and how good it was. There wasn't any pricing here or menu item. Just point and pay at the end. So if this is your first time here, you have to be very patient OR do what I do and get a variety of desserts and then you will know what flavors you like. Interaction can feel rushed as a lot of customers doesn't want to wait for us English speakers so I just let them go ahead. I got their top menu items here are definitely the chè options, especially chè ba màu (three-color dessert), chè chuối (banana with coconut milk), and chè bắp (sweet corn dessert). If you are a fan of cocount milk then thiese are the ones for you to try! Parking can be a bit of a mixed experience. There is a shared plaza parking lot, but it can get crowded especially on weekends so you might need a little patience or park nearby if it's busy. Overall, this place is a great spot for semi-affordable, authentic Vietnamese desserts with tons of variety. It's not about the service or ambiance but it is all about the sweets, and they definitely deliver and was able to satisfy my for craving delicious .

Was in the shopping center for lunch and saw this place. There was a long line out the door. I love Vietnamese desserts so of course I had to get me some to satisfy my sweet cravings. The place is small, but they have so many choices to choose. The only thing I didn't like is that there are no prices listed anywhere. Not sure if we are being rip off here. They also don't give you a receipt. Guess we just have to trust them? Not sure if they even accept credit card. Other than some of the negatives, their desserts are pretty good, hence, the long line. Would I come back? Maybe, if I'm happened to be shopping in this center.

Whenever I'm in Westminster, Hien Khanh is my goto spot for che. Portions are good and for a pretty good price (3/7/2026 - $6 A cup) and of course the taste of the different che is spectacular. It's not your typical fancy sit down and eat kind of shop but rather a grab and go kind of place. Every time I've been, the shop is packed with people, especially the older Viet aunties and uncles, so you know the place is good. As for service, I genuinely adore the ladies who work here, they've always been so sweet and kind and overall provide good service so I really like picking up dessert from here when I'm in the area. Overall rating: Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Menu: 10/10 Shop Vibes: 10/10 Price to Overall Dining (POD): 10/10

Solid spot for che and other Vietnamese snacks. I tried che 1 and it was not too sweet, which I prefer. There's another che spot in this plaza that makes their desserts way too sweet. There was a line with Viet aunties even on a weekday afternoon, so I knew this had to be the spot for desserts and that it'd be authentic. I want to try their other desserts that other people were purchasing next time I stop by.

They have sooo many Asian desserts! They get busy but line goes fast! I got some things which were good! But one item went bad by the time I got home but I am on a road trip so maybe it needed refrigeration. They only accept cash is my issue! So bring cash with you! They also accept zelle but I don't have that so I was limited on how much I could spend. I really liked the rice dessert and pandan roll dessert I got! They are lightly sweet.

Picked up so many things I didn't get a chance to take pics of everything. We got some Che' and some snacks. The banh bo was ok, didn't have much pandan flavor. The Che was really good, highly recommend.

The Che 3 mau was too sweet We liked the com xôi with coconut The pandan bánh da lợn was slightly crunchy and not like the usual ones with real mung bean but it was good. A mix between jello texture and chewy. Service was excellent Quickly and small place to pick up and go, not a sit down Plenty of options to try again next time

I always love Che Hien Khanh and over 20+ yrs buying from all over Che Hien Khanh I never have problems. Unfortunately this time I'm disappointed. My com rouc when I'm on my last spoon and put in my mouth there a metal scrubber in there . I hope they more carefully next time.

My favorite Vietnamese Che (dessert) chain in Little Saigon. It's always hard to choose what to get here as everything is on my favorite list. The cow cakes and pandan cakes are usually my go to items along with the various types of banana desserts smothered in coconut cream. I'm kinda drooling writing this review. Easy parking on a weekday. Please come and create your own adventure.

Bought 3 che 3 mau late yeaterday afternoon. Went home out in the fridge. Take out 2 hrs ago..they all bad... I guest they made in the morning and leave out all day...so make sure when buy eat right away...

I love this place, it's the OG spot to get Vietnamese desserts. There's never any prices posted so I feel like I'm at one of those food trucks with no prices on the truck and they give me a price based on how they feel that day... lol. We need some posted prices LOL. A lot of things are questionable here (sanitary wise) but it hits the spot. The line is very disorganized. Man I used to like the 3 colored dresser but for almost $7 something, I'll pass until the cravings really hit. I probably won't come back if I don't have to.

This seems to be a classic Vietnamese dessert shop and I was lured by the lines... almost everything in there was sweet, including the rice. Not sure I'd go back but it was an interesting experience.

The interior is quite spacious, with vibrant yellow and green chairs that create a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a Vietnamese café. We ordered the Mango Chè and Thai Chè. The Mango Chè leaned more toward a smooth mango purée with fewer fresh mango cubes than expected, while the Thai Chè was exactly what I had hoped for. One thoughtful touch was the presentation--the ice was served separately, allowing the dessert portion to remain generous without being diluted or taking up space in the bowl. The only downside was the seating area along the side wall. Several of the seat cushions appeared quite worn and noticeably dirty, which detracted from the overall dining experience. The owner clearly holds this location to a high standard, especially compared to the Bolsa locations. I haven't ordered a single item that wasn't fresh, although it may help that I usually stop by right when they open. What really stands out is how much the staff cares about the customer experience. They're friendly, work efficiently, and get your food out quickly so you can get on with your day. The prices are fair, especially considering inflation as of July 2026. My usual order is four bánh bao and a chè for a snack, which comes to about $17.95. This location is also very convenient if you're heading northbound on Brookhurst, which is my usual route to work. Parking can be a little tricky, but customers are in and out pretty quickly, so it's usually not a problem. If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. Their bánh mì heo quay is also really good! My only suggestion would be to add a little more pickled carrot and daikon to the sandwiches. Other than that, this place is an easy 5 stars.

I think I ordered, stepped away, and BAM! The drink was ready on the counter! Not sure how quickly food orders are done, but the speed of how quickly my coffee was poured out impressed me LOL As for the coffee itself, the Vietnamese coffee base is bold and strong! It's a bit more on the bitter side compared to other coffee shops, but paired with the foam, it balances out! If I visit again, I'd like to try one of the desserts or banh bao! There's some seating inside and outside the bakery. During the time I went, there were a lot of customers, and all the seats were taken! The place is good for a quick in and out stop, but not sure if it's the optimal place to sit and chit-chat.
