Parking is free, plentiful, and incredibly easy. The restaurant shares a lot with the neighboring farmers market, but even with that, there was still plenty of parking available, which made the whole experience even better. I was greeted warmly by the host, who let me choose my own seat. I ended up sitting all the way in the back because I was in the mood for a little solo dining and some quiet "me time." My server was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout my meal. To start, I ordered the fried chicken dumplings, and they were absolutely delicious. Let's just say they disappeared... quickly. For my entrée, I ordered Grandma's Pork & Rice, which is exactly what I had been craving. I tried to pace myself because I wanted to save some for later, but that pork is just too good. It's always unbelievably tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Somehow it tastes exactly as good as I remember every single time. One feature that's always fun at Food Terminal is the little robots that help deliver the food to your table. The robots bring out your meals while the servers take care of your drinks, and it's always a fun touch that makes the experience a little more memorable. Speaking of drinks... I had an oolong tea, a Diet Coke, and a glass of water because, for whatever reason, I always seem to need three beverages in front of me. Overall, this visit was exactly what I was hoping for. Great food, friendly service, convenient parking, and the perfect way to satisfy a very specific craving. I first tried the crispy bao bun and was blown away by the flavor it had! It was like a mini burger. After that I tried the steamed dumplings and they were so yummy and specially with the sauce.
