    A mess!
    Marilyn R.

The worst bbq ribs we've ever had!! We wanted to try a new place and we were craving BBQ so we saw that this place had good reviews. We ordered 2 of their Baby back Pork Ribs with Jack Daniels and it came with fries, corn on the cob and bread, when we opened the foil container it looked like a disaster the fries were mixed with bbq sauce, and soggy, and the sauce was not Jack Daniel's. Horrible presentation. Then we started eating the ribs and the meat was tough and worst of all it was raw!! So disgusting! Take a look at the pictures see for yourself... There are way better other places in Tijuana. All because we wanted to try something new we're praying we don't get sick for eating raw pork!

No mask, no entry Temperatures are checked upon arrival We were a party of 6 people and didn't even wait to be seated. However there was a wait for orders to-go. Once we ordered we got our food quickly; everything was delicious, finger-licking good

Excellent please...literally what you can expect from a BBQ joint... super nice..the servers DAMNN super nice very happy place. Let's talk about the food, well the portions as expected HUMONGOUS!! the bread and the corn well I can assure you it's enough for you your family cat and dog..and lunch for the next day. My husband had the full rack of bbq beef ribs for 300 and something pesos..the equivalent to 16 Us dollars given or take..it comes with 2 corn pieces and 2 pieces of bread ohhh and a huge bed if fries...this is for 2 people but I have a big husband so... The kid had chicken strips with bbq sauce and same ..fries and bread. Me...a delicious carne asada fries with nacho cheese...WOW!! BREAD INCLUDED! did I mention the bread was amazing hahaha!! They have a cucumber lime and chia water so refreshing.. Cool place..family friendly, big parties too. If you dont like to wait you can call in advance some sort of reservation or take out. Enjoy the pictures!!!

Craft beer was a no-no for me.

Was up all night finding places to eat with the family a day before heading to TJ. It had been a while since I last had some good ribs. Read a couple of reviews and decided to taste them. After watching a movie with the kids, we headed to this place. We were all hungry and decided to get some ribs, turkey leg, and pollo fries. My kids ordered a chia-cucumber-lemon agua fresca and I ordered a craft beer from the region. My wife's pollo fries were good, maybe lacked a tiny bit of flavor, but over all edible Next was the turkey leg. Now that was veryyy good. Too bad we only ordered one and my girls ate most of it. Next were the ribs. Honestly the presentation wasn't the best. Maybe I got a small rack but honestly i wasn't impressed. They were tender but I was not a fan of the bbq sauce. To me it tasted a lot like Carolina BBQ ribs I tasted more vinegar than I did sweetness. It tasted a lot like tomato paste. But enjoyed them anyway. The chia lemon cucumber agua fresca was very good and served in a generous cup. I did not enjoy the craft beer at all. It tasted like a watered-down version of Big Kahuna beer. Overall a pretty good way to end a hectic day. One thing is for sure, I will probably be back for the turkey leg and agua fresca.

Excellent bbq! Reminds me of being back in Kansas City! Friendly staff with great customer service. Serving portions are large.

This review is in Spanish so I you don't know Spanish, translate it your self. Okay, okay!

I'm not going to go into the obvious of what kind of establishment is linked to this restaurant…read more All I will say is that it is more for adults, as people who work in the adjacent nightclub come here to eat on their break. I will focus this review strictly on the food and service. I've come here periodically to get some food during my excursions to baja. This place is located in Zona Norte along Coahuila Street. Access can be gained through either Coahuila Street, or through the alleyway between Cohauila St. and First Street. (FYI: Coahuila Street and this alleyway are the only safe part of this region, do NOT go venturing to any other part of Zona Norte). The main restaurant area is a short walk up a flight of stairs from those two streets. Inside, the place is clean, brightly lit, and staffed by attentive waiters and waitresses. There is plenty of seating here, despite it being pretty busy at times. My favorite dish is the filet mignon. This comes with a side of loaded baked potato, veggies, and dinner bread. I usually like to add rice. To drink, my personal favorite is the lemonade sans the sugar, their regular coffee, and sometimes, their iced mocha. The food is pretty good here, very flavorful and prepped with care. The price matches the quality. Paying in cash here is far less of a hassle than paying with card. They require you to let them photo-copy your ID, and for your signature to match meticulously. If you find yourself venturing to this part of Tijuana, and hunger strikes you, then give this place a try.

He visitado Barrikas, Slowburger, Beverly Burgers, Indie Burgers, Mark Burgers, Nantli Burger,…read moreBurger Jack, Hulk's Y Truck 91. Esta son mis preferidas. (pueden revisar mi perfil para leer las demas) En estados unidos no es comun el concepto de un restaurante con un menú limitado, y si In-And-Out es exitoso, es por que se enfocan en hacer una sola cosa bien. Y te puedo decir que prefiero Yo Mommaz Burgers a In-And-Out.

The Zona Rio location has a small dining area, that is very popular with both the locals and visitors. It is easy to see why. Their menu does not over dose on the standard morning and afternoon items that you would find anyplace. However, this is the first restaurant I've been to in Tijuana, that does not have an English menu.... so I had to labor through the Spanish menu. But, they do have unique dishes, thus making the visit adventurous, because it is difficult to choose. I went back and forth, and finally settled for their 3-egg omelet with asparagus and sheep cheese. It came with refried beans, strings of carrots and beets, small fired up tostadas and fresh tortillas (both blue and yellow corn). A small side of soggy chilaquiles was also served. A small flavorful salsa tray is also provided with 3 options, ranging from mild to hot. The asparagus spears were thin, cut up into small pieces and sautéed with mild spices. The outer egg covering soft and not overdone. If anything, there was too much sheep cheese, in certain portions of the omelet. I say this because it was an asparagus omelet, and it, instead of the cheese, should have been the star. Still, it did not take away from the other commendable aspects of the complete entree and its accompaniments. Before the meal, a small refreshing fruit plate is served. Coffee and overall service here, was mucho excellente.

The presentation of the food is nice and it tastes good. Some of the dishes that I have tried are: Tarahumara (portobello omelet), Xitomatl (entomatadas), Huichol (chilaquiles con cecina), Mulli (mole Oaxaqueño), Teotihuacán (chilaquiles con chorizo y huevo), and Coyoltzin (puntas de filete). My favorite has been the Coyoltzin because the meat is tender and juicy. I also love that they bring salsas to the table. I like the chiles with oil and vinegar that they make. Overall, a great place to have breakfast or lunch with friends and family.

But today I happen to be in the area and I told my husband to try this place out. He was so happy! Once you place your order out waitress came with a big plate of sweet bread and you get to pick one! I picked the concha and my husband got the pineapple empanada! We ordered a bit of everything. My husbands go to meal always is chilaquiles. So he ordered the DIVORCIADOS $16.50 Half green and half red with carne asada and beans. We also got the CARNE EN SU JUGO $15.99 And I got the MENUDO ROJO $15.50 Let me start off by saying everything was amazing! It all tasted like it was homemade! Perfectly seasoned, with hand made tortillas. The carne en su jugo was really good! I understand why they are known for that dish. I loved my Menudo! I was craving it and it was perfect. The chilaquiles, the chips weren't soggy, they still had a bite to them. The sauces had so much flavor! My husband and I left with full bellies and a big smile on our faces! All the waitresses and waiters were so nice! Diego was telling us the story of the restaurant. Which was nice to hear. All family owned. Hopefully they open another restaurant close to us!!!
