I understood they were having power issues and were operating on a generator. Their tablet system appeared to be working, as I could see my order while placing it. I was making a large order for my coworkers and needed an itemized receipt. When I asked for one, I was told they couldn't provide it due to the power outage. I then asked if they could pull up my order on the tablet so I could take a photo of it, and I was told "yes, one second." However, after my order was ready and I followed up, the staff member seemed irritated and repeated that they couldn't provide a receipt because of the power issue. I clarified that I only needed to take a picture of the order on the screen, which I thought we had already agreed on. I also didn't realize that every add-on they offer comes with an extra charge. For example, when asked what kind of milk I wanted, it wasn't mentioned that 2% milk (which is typically the default) had an upcharge. Additionally, when a soft top was offered for an iced drink, it wasn't disclosed that it was a $1.50 extra charge. This was frustrating, as these add-ons were suggested by staff without clarifying the additional cost. While the issue was eventually resolved, I left feeling unhappy with the overall experience. I did return once afterward, but between the inconsistent beverages and the lack of transparency around pricing, I don't think I'll be coming back.

I have been brewing the Columbian grounds at home for my bulletproof coffee with ghee, coconut oil, collagen, and stevia and I swear it tastes like brownie batter. They have a showroom with all the coffee machines and supplies they sell, they use it to train baristas. They supply coffee and stuff to a few places you've heard of, Black Walnut, Goode & Co., Uncle Bean's, etc. There are a lot of friendly knowledgeable people who work here and they seem to enjoy it. One of them even made a stellar to go cup of hot cappucino for me, nice foam artwork. We'll order on line after we finish this bag of beans, it's easier...we enjoyed scoping out this place though. Great people and product. I saw some bags of their beans at Main Street Coffee in Rockport and that got me stirred up.

I had an amazing experience at this banh mi spot! I ordered the thịt nướng, and it was absolutely delicious. The grilled pork was perfectly seasoned--sweet, savory, and slightly smoky--with just the right amount of char. Paired with the crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside bread, it was the perfect combination. What really sealed the deal was the pâté and mayo--they added such a rich, creamy depth that brought everything together perfectly.
