My uncle brought us out-of-towners because BBH is one of my absolute favorite dishes and he said this is the only place he would recommend we go to. ALWAYS TRUST A LOCAL! So glad we came, the brother was soul warming good, seriously amazing! Nothing beats a home good pot of bun Bo hue but this one definitely comes close!! My dad also got some Vietnamese coffee that was the perfect blend of bitter and sweet - highly recommend. The staff were kind, and their name sake was the absolute bomb - hoping we can go back on more time before leaving!
Hands down the best Bun bo Hue in Houston! It's a spot that my family and I have been going to for years. We dine here at least 1-2 times a month. This cozy restaurant consistently delivers great service. There's usually little to no wait to get seated, and the staff is efficient and attentive. The food typically comes out in 5 minutes. Their Bun bo Hue is the star of the show. The broth is flavorful and has so much depth. It has a pleasant lemongrass taste that isn't overpowering at all. You can add spicy chili paste for more heat and savoriness. The beef is soft and tender, and the firm pork sausage (cha lua) is very tasty. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Bun bo Hue in Houston, Bun Bo Hue Co Do 2 is the place to go!
This is the wife's preferred bun bo hue place. I preferred bun bo hue duc chuong 2 not far from here, now known as BBH Noodle House. They changed owners or management and I don't think it's the same. We usually eat here on the weekends during lunch. I can get pretty crowded (max capacity 50) on Sundays when the church crowd from the near by La Vang church lets out. The tables are set up with tables with 4 seats in the sides next to the wall and 8 seat longer tables in the middle. The food usually comes out pretty quickly, and the broth is on the spicier side even though I always add at least two spoonfuls of ớt sả tế to ít. Probably the best on on the northside unless someone can suggest a better place.

A decent BBH with a good balance of noodles and protein. I feel that their broth is a bit lacking compared to other restaurants I've tried. The lemongrass was the main thing I tasted compared to other flavors like garlic amongst other herbs. Very quick service though.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, and the service was incredibly fast and easy (as most Vietnamese restaurants are). I wasn't expecting a lot when I ordered the BBH dac biet, but I was blown away with how delicious it was!! The broth is so delicious, and each table has additional chili paste, shrimp paste, and fish sauce you can add to enhance the flavors. I didn't find that I needed to add a lot, since the base was already so rich! I also got the medium, and normally have a hard time finishing pho bowls this size, but I ate everything here without fail because it was so delicious! I also think they give a good amount of meat and also the noodle texture was perfect for me. Will definitely be frequenting this place.
Food has always been really good here, never left disappointed. Our go to spot when we're lazy to cook at home. We've tried just about everything on their menu. Owner and staff are very friendly which makes eating here enjoyable. It may get busy but for the most part there's plenty of seats. Come show your support if you're in the area!
Finally I found a bun Bo hue heaven spot . It's been awhile that I have that loving feeling of bun Bo hue again . This place is amazing and it's a blessing to find it . Once you entered the restaurant the aroma of lemon grass kicks in and welcome my hunger . The bowl came out fill with meats , lemon grass, and blood pork cubes. The broth was so flavorful and it begs me to slurp it all. We enjoyed this magnificent bowl so much that we ordered several more to go. This is better than Bbh midnight off Bellaire . That used to be my spot back then. Im craving for more and will come Back.

This was my first time going here and I'm ready to go back anytime. This looks like a mom and pop shop from the outside to the inside, it's a nice family like atmosphere going on in the inside, the lady at the front was really nice and helpful in explaining things to me. One of my fave places to get bun bo hue. This place is a hidden gem. Located in a spacious plaza, plenty of parking. The inside isn't too big but plenty of tables to sit at. The staff is friendly and quick with their service. They specialize in bun bo hue so you know it's good. I ordered a medium bowl and it was the perfect size when you're hungry. They filled up the bowl with plenty of broth, also comes with a side of veggies. The broth definitely hit the spot. Full of flavor. Highly recommend to check this place out if you're on this side of town but it's totally worth the drive. read more

We drove about 40 mins from Houston to go here. We love bun bo hue so much and this place was really good! It's always good when they specialize in the specific dish and there's a bunch of Vietnamese patrons eating! We ordered the bun Bo hue dac biet without pork hock small ($12). It had the pork blood, pork meatloaf, beef shank, ot satay and shrimp paste. The ca phe sua da ($4.75) was good and strong! We also tried the nuoc mat ($6) but it was kind of artificial tasting. read more

Guys this is the BEST BUN BO HUE EVER! The and FLAVOR were all there- all before adding more chili oil too. Real talk, I wasn't a Bún b° Hue fan due to the fact that it just wasn't spicy enough but this bowl literally left my lips TINGLING. This place definitely exceeded my expectations! I know this bowl would hit even better at night but sadly they close at 3:30 pm everyday or before that if they sell out early! So if you go, you better go early! I got their BB1 Large. Their BB1 comes with combinations of beef, steamed pork, pork hock, and blood cake! I'd also recommend to size down because their large was so large. I could barely finish it but it was so good that I just had to. Overall, I recommend this place. Their pho slaps as well but if you're in the north side of houston and you're looking for good eats, this is the place to go! BTW: this was priced at $13.50 before tax. And if you decide to pay by any type of card, a 2.6% fee will be added! read more
This place is LEGIT. I was in Houston for almost an entire week, with non-stop eating, and this Bun Bo Hue was my favourite dish of everything I ate. Loved it so much that I had to have it again before going home. The broth is absolutely amazing - spicy, flavorful, authentic. Combined with the quality ingredients.. so damn good! I think it's one of the best places in Houston but unfortunately you can only have it for breakfast or lunch, I usually work everyday so I can only come by every few months because they close at 3 pm ish or when they sell out. I think the prices has gone up pretty high too if you are price conscious. I feel as though they cut some of the portioning with the food through the years. The broth has a nice lemongrass flavor that I look for and the vermicelli noodles are thick and perfectly cooked. read more

At certain times when you see lines out of the door you will know that this is definitely the true stuff. There is another soup Place almost exactly like this with very terrible service and over salty broth that can rot in hell because here is the new kid on the Block and it's here to stay. The bun Bo hue here would probably be one of the best that you have ever had and pretty much the crowd here would pretty much indicate the truth and what I am saying about this place. The service is not stellar but when it is not packed up the buttocks with customers, you will at least get refills on your drinks. The people are even friendly here, you do not get that at places like this mark my words. When you find out that your kids are eating here twice a week for about two months in a row, you know you're pretty much hit home run on where they want to go when you come home and want to take them out to an inexpensive place and be able to make everybody happy the same time. They do not have an extensive menu but guess what that means? They can concentrate on what they do best! Parking is a little on the undesired side during peak hours and even with that it is pretty much a task in itself to find when it has not peaked at set for maybe 3 in the afternoon. If you have a friend or relative that has never had one bowl way before, introduce them to the one that they make here, it's an addictive Gateway that they will give a thank you or curse you about it later. read more

So glad they opened their second location up in the NW side of town. In a nutshell, their Bun Bo Hue is fairly good, actually better than most other BBH places around town. They only serve Bun Bo Hue or Pho, so don't come here expecting rice dishes or anything else. The staff seemed hard-working. I noticed most of them wearing gloves and hair nets when cleaning tables and bringing out food. It was refreshing to see. The service was also very fast and friendly. The BBH was good. This is a great place for easy, fast, and good Bun Bo Hue. read more

Du ma, this place deserves a 5/5 but they f my order up. I told them pho noodles but got bun noodles Service is what u expect from a Vietnamese restaurant, one napkin per person lol. For a Vietnamese restaurant somewhat located in Cypress, this place does the trick. Service was quick, and we got our food super fast. There are tons of seats available, and the parking lot is huge. They have food and different boba drinks there. The drinks range from milk teas, to fruit slushees. Overall, this place was a really great Vietnamese restaurant. My parents love coming to this place and I can see why. What I ordered: Pho Dac Biet - 4/5 It's really hard to wow me with pho. This pho is better than most places, don't get me wrong. There was a ton of meat in there, and there was a good variety. Thai Milk Tea - 4/5 Good ole classic Thai milk tea. I feel like it's homemade, but I could totally be wrong. It had a good creamy flavor. I would definitely get it again. Their boba is like crystal boba, so it was like jelly? It had a little crunch factor to it. Overall I liked the whole drink! read more
