I honestly don't have too much to say about this place... It seems to get moderate business. The food isn't anything special. I could have made a better burger at home for a lot less. Needs were fulfilled before we could ask: waters never reached below the halfway point, extra napkins were delivered with meals, extra chips brought for the appetizer. It's almost as if they pegged me as the writer of previous review. Only complaint was portion size, since I completely ruined my diet tonight. Stars given on a forgiving average. Previous review: Burgers, with the toppings you want, were excellent. The service was mediocre at best, and unworthy of a tip more than 13%. A manager came by and asked how things were. We said, at the time, "good, but could we have some more napkins?" He replied in the affirmative and seemed to walk away on a mission. No napkins were delivered for the remainder of our stay. Five minutes later, our server walked by, empty handed (not delivering another order/taking care of other needs), but didn't stop. Water was empty. We sat without eating for another five minutes before the waiter came back. We asked for water refills, which took another three minutes to get. When we asked for a box for leftovers, it was provided, but no check was brought until we asked for it. Very disappointing service on a Saturday lunch service, where it was busy enough to not be a low staffing issue, but empty enough that we should have expected service. read more

Updated review: I stopped in solo on a Friday happy hour. I wanted a draft beer and remembered their great selection from my previous visit. I dined alone at the bar. I was leery of ordering food after our previous terrible experience. I'm glad my hunger got the best of me and I gave them a second chance. I ordered the train wreck burger, hold the 1000 island dressing (gross). And plain old fries. The burger was good and toppings were excellent. The fries were excellent. The service and beer were excellent. The only things that keep me from giving them a better score: I ordered "pink" and got none. And the meat could be better seasoned. With so many places to grab a burger these days, it's tough to find a place that stands out. Bagger Dave's is a nice alternative to the fast food chains. My family visited recently for my son's birthday lunch. We shared a plate of Santa Fe Nachos which were pretty good and everyone ordered a burger as their main. I had the Blues Burger, which is listed as a prime rib burger with bleu cheese crumbles, tomato, lettuce, Cajun spice, and Santa Fe Chipotle sauce on a grilled pretzel bun. It was decent and I ordered a craft Black Cherry Cream Soda that was very good. Service was excellent. read more

Just a decent burger place where the food always seems to be the same, tasty bite each time. I recommend the black bean burger, you can sub it in any specialty burger at no cost. If you're in the mood for Mac n cheese the spicy side is good and worth the up charge. For a table of 4-6 we always have to wait which is annoying, best service is at the bar if you can! Not bad at all great food (burgers everytime) I was recommended the Mac & cheese with jalapeños by the server and my girlfriend was recommend a burger an would honestly say it was one of the worse decisions we've made. I would say if you don't know what you want exactly don't take the recommendations, the menu too wide spread and you may want your money back like us but you went off another persons word. I had been leery to try this place after reading some of the past reviews about the service and some issues there. However, tonight was the night! Holy crap, am I glad I did! First impressions? "Wow... I'm gonna like it here!". Very well lit (but not too much)....and pleasing decor! I was greeted within seconds of coming through the door. Nice! Tonight I decided to sit at the bar since, it was just me. But I watched the whole place (what I could see of it, which was most of it) and noticed most of the interactions between staff and customers. It was outstanding! On to the food...... I decided to come tonight because of a radio ad I had heard earlier in the day...saying Tuesdays they had a special on the classic double. Naturally...that's what I ordered since it was already in my head. The burger came out fast which concerned me as it may have been sitting under a lamp. Um....NOPE! Made to order, and I gotta tell you......the quality and flavor of that burger was ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH!!!! Seriously....must have been the best burger I've had in a LONG time. If this basic burger is ANY indication of how the rest of their vast selection of burgers will be......good God! I opted for the sweet potato chips, and I am whole-heartedly suggesting that you do the same. PERFECT compliment and order the honey cinnamon salt sauce and make sure you have some chips left after the burger. Trust me. This can be your dessert! WOW! The bartender that was taking care if me (Miranda) was an absolute joy to work with. Not only with me, but I observed her interactions with the others at the bar. She's a keeper. The kind of person every owner/manager wants on their team. Conversations were great, and no one was left wanting....even for a moment. This place has earned every bit of their 4-star from me, and I will now be a regular. I invite anyone who reads this, to come find out. Whatever the issues were, regarding the reviews that I had read in the past .....they are apparently no longer! Have been here twice since discovering that we had Bagger Dave's. First meal was a Korean themed burger (kimchi, grilled meat, etc.) When i got the burger it was so big I didn't notice the special grilled meat topping was missing! The manager was frantic trying to find the burger w/o the signature portion! He finally found me, apologized and brought out the large portion of meat. The food was so good, I didn't have a problem with it. Mistakes happen, and that one didn't ruin the experience. Wait staff was attentive. Portions good. Drink selection good and interesting. The menu made me want to try new things, which many restaurats having mastered yet. So, good job! Second visit had another great burger and a beer. No complaints. My only gripe is the prevalence of TVs in every corner of a restaurant. This is an industry issue, and i wish we had more places with at least some seating areas not flooded with basketball and advertising. I can eat in front of the TV at home. Specialty Sodas were decent but should probably just stick with a major brand. They did the right thing and took the burger off our bill. I swear I reviewed Bagger Dave's already, but since I didn't here ya go! We went a few months ago and had a really good experience. I got the Bacon BBQ and it was delicious. The only thing I found was that the onions overpowered the sandwich a bit so I had to take some off. Barbecue sauce was great. I was not a fan of having to order and pay for a side of fries. For the price of this place I expected it to be included. I would say the big area they need improvement on is the kids menu. I have little kids under 5 who like pretty plain, tame food. Mac and Cheese would have been a hit if it was regular and not twisted. My daughter did really like her min sliders. She kept telling me they were, "so cute and baby sized." For my son who can't have beef this is where regular mac and cheese would have came in handy. Luckily he was under 2 and happy with french fries until we got home. Let's talk about the shakes because they are AMAZING! Easily the best part of the meal. The Reese's Peanut cup was delicious. My husband kindly shared and I'm glad he did because they are pretty big shakes. My kids split a chocolate shake and the server was nice enough to put it into two smaller cups for them. It was also good. I originally thought this was similar to Five Guys, but after going it's definitely a different type of place. I'd go again if they could change up the kids menu a bit and maybe come up with a way to include fries with your meals. This was a really good experience. I couldn't give it three stars because the service was awesome. The food was really good not amazing but not just good or fair. Our whole family enjoyed the experience. My wife had the fish and chips. I had the classic cheeseburger. The taste was good. It was enjoyable and stable. I really like the fresh cut fries. The dessert tasted really good also I forget the name but it was like a triple chocolate cake. It had fudge, whip cream, some brownie in the cake with a chocolate ganache that tasted like a light chocolate mousse. We went here shortly after the location had opened and our experience was lousy. I know this review is looong overdue but more on that later. We waited forever to get a table, not because they were busy, but because every table was dirty. When we were seated, my wife asked what kind of soda they had, the waitress, who was obviously not happy to be there, just jabbed her finger on to the menu where the drinks were listed. When we got our food, my burger was ok, nothing spectacular, but my wife's was made wrong. Since it took at least 15 minutes before someone came around to check, we didn't feel like waiting for it to be re made. The manager was nice, took her burger off the bill and offered to give us a free meal to get us to come back. But the whole experience was bad enough, we didn't really want to come back. Not to mention, there food isn't that good. Again, I just let it go, until now, much later. I had one of their ads pop up on my Facebook feed. So I posted a comment about my experience. It was pretty much exactly what I just posted here. What do you know, they deleted it and blocked me from being able to post or review on Facebook. Of course, their ad still pops up on my feed. This just proves to me that I was correct in my choice not to return. They obviously don't care. But now, it will be my job to let everyone know just how little they care about you or your opinion. I'd strongly encourage you to think twice before going to this restaurant. We used to enjoy it. Went a lot. But their food has gotten worse each time. Their loyalty program has been changed to be for THEIR benefit, not the customer. Tonight, we waited 45 minutes for to go burgers. Several other patrons who arrived later got & finished their food while we waited. Our burgers were too raw to eat. Our food was incorrect. First, I'd like to start out by saying the food is great! My fiancé and I are regulars here and we typically love the food and the staff. I am writing this review because we had a terrible experience with one of the managers that was working on Sunday night. We were walking straight back to the bar and had forgotten to put on our masks. Instead of asking us kindly to put on a mask (which I would have gladly done) the manager screamed at me. He then walked into the kitchen and you could still hear him screaming about how angry he was. We proceeded to sit at the bar and were willing to forget the whole thing as we typically have great service and love the food. The manager then proceeded to come over to the bar and get in my face (he is a tall man and I am a small woman) yelling and using profanity. Everyone in the restaurant was looking. It is was very embarrassing for him and made us very uncomfortable. Many individuals at the bar left because he continued to yell as he went into the kitchen. Very rude, unprofessional, and honestly as a woman I was frightened of him. It was unacceptable and I can't believe I was treated this way by someone I do not know. My husband & I were looking forward to trying the Bagger Daves at Cornerstone in Centerville, Ohio. The decor is very appealing & our waitress was hard working & very pleasant. However, if they want to stay in business, they need to step up their game with the food! They feature burgers so that's what we ordered...the "build your own burger" option where you order the options you want. Sounded good....but absolutely tasteless! How do you make grilled onions & sauteed mushrooms tasteless? We each ordered the 4 oz. "prime rib" burger. Well, it was very questionable whether it was a quarter pound & even whether it was meat! We chose the smoked gouda which is a strong flavored cheese, but again, no taste! The french fries were OK. They feature craft beers so maybe they think that alone will keep them afloat. When we were there, the bartender had no idea how to make a mixed drink even though they are featured on the menu. We used to go to Zip's Cafe when one of our sons lived in Cincinnati. Now there is a burger you can taste! No wonder they've been in business about 50 years! Bagger Dave's! Get some help with your food!!! Maybe a new supplier, a new supervisory cook, something! This is one of the few chain restaurants that I tend to come back to. Their app portions are huge so very good for sharing, though can get a little pricey in my opinion.
