Walked right in and ordered, no line! Our burgers were exactly how we ordered them, and the large fry is enough for 4 people OMG. The double patty with all the toppings can be a messy challenge so next time I'll be a bit more picky rather than saying "everything" but the ingredients were fresh and they did not skimp! As I was ordering my food the employee said "don't worry about getting a little order of fries. We're, Five Guys and Fries we always put a little more in the bag". There was in fact no more in the bag other than the cup. The quality of my burger is also not the same as it once was I ordered jalapeño's and whatever they put on it even if It was jalapeños was not spicy at all and I know they used to be my prime target for a burger after a long day of blue collar work. read more

I've heard good things about the burgers here and decided to try it out. I wish that I had not. The burger itself was mostly gristle and very greasy with absolutely no seasoning and the toppings were abysmal. To start the "lettuce" was brown and wilted, the tomato wasn't even ripe and it was even wilted. The bun had absorbed so much of the grease that it was soaked through. The entire burger itself looked as if it had been put together and thrown at the wall. I've seen better constructed burgers at McDonald's. After two bites I threw it in the trash and questioned why I spent $13.00 on this. The fries which were highly recommended were almost as bad as the burger. They were mushy and wilted and tasted like they had been left in days old grease. And is it so hard to add salt to anything? I do not recommend this place at all read more

Lunch today was very good. Busy at noon but they were cranking them out quickly. I was envious of my colleague who had the BLT. That was a LOT of bacon on that sandwich and it looked delicious. I chose the bacon cheeseburger and skipped the bun (keto diet!) for a lettuce wrap. It stayed together very nicely and wasn't too messy at all. A lot of food, very tasty. Went here for super. It was super yummy! I had a small cheeseburger and fries. I got right in. There was no wait. Food did not take long to get. The fries they give you are huge and so many of them. I was a bit taken back thinking it's a bit expensive for a burger joint but I must say after having the burger I changed my mind. Worth every cent. I had to have my friends redone and the counter guy , I believe his name was Derek. He was very friendly and so accommodating !! A fresh surprise for a place like this. Big fan of this place. Burgers are juicy and stacked. All are doubles. They have over 10 different toppers plus condiments. My go to is cheese burger with bacon, raw onion, tomato, grilled mushrooms and ketchup and mustard. They also have regular or Cajun seasoned fries which I always get. Make sure you get a small fry unless you are really hungry because they pile them up. They also have hotdogs but burgers is where it's at. Every location you go to they taste the same. I recently called in an order for a Veggie Burger to Five Guys in Washington Township and when my husband picked it up. We were charged for a Bacon Burger which we did not order. The manager apologized and asked us to keep the burger since it was made, and we were charged and paid for it. We agreed to keep it. However, when we got home instead of the Bacon Burger in the bag it was a Hot Dog. Called the manager and was told that he would send me a gift card for the error. That was 2 months ago still waiting. Call the District Manager and the Corporate Office and still no gift card or an offer to get another Burger. I paid $21.76 for a Hot Dog that I did not want. I feel this location is cheap and not trustworthy. I will never buy anything from them again and if I did would have to check the order before leaving the store and my receipt because I was overcharged. Five Guys used to be my favorite burger joint - but no more. I am so disappointed because I feel this location don't appreciate their customer and neither do the management. read more

Hm. I feel unfulfilled. Let down. Disappointed, even. I'm in Dayton for the evening on business. I felt like knocking back a nice burger tonight, and passed up the opportunity to try Smashburger to go with what I know, Five Guys. Well, I thought I knew Five Guys. The Five Guys in Bloomington, Indiana is pretty awesome. This location is like someone took a pamphlet on how to run a Five Guys and opened their own store. The decor and everything was typical Five Guys, although this location doesn't have a designated waiting area. It also doesn't have something that I have become a huge fan of, the multi flavor - super mix it - press a button and go - groovy modern soda machine. What it does have is the standard fountain, which has Cherry Coke that really doesn't taste quite right. Everyone there was prompt and friendly, and everyone seemed to be having a decent time. Their food standards just aren't quite up to what I'm used to. The fries were a bit undercooked and soft instead of crispy and delicious. The burger also did not taste as good as what I am used to from Five Guys, and I have no idea why. Overall, it was very disappointing, considering what I expect from them. When I was done, I really wished I had at least tried Smashburger. This was just a letdown. read more

I ordered a hamburger All The Way, which is pretty much like the deluxe, and once I got the burger it was a plain hamburger with ketchup. I asked for a remake which wasn't that big of a deal. For the remake I said that the burger was supposed to be all the way and instead I got a plain burger with ketchup. Once I got the remake of my burger it turned out the guy made the plain hamburger with ketchup again. I ate my burger with disgust and sadness as I know the burger was so plain and boring and I could of been enjoying a nice hearty burger with much more toppings than ketchup. Every time I get a burger here it's great. The burger is flavorful and fresh and all the toppings are fresh. The fries are some of the best in town. Every once a while I'll get one of those shakes and they have been very tasty. This place has a positive energy and enthusiasm from the staff! Love it! Keep that up! My hub and I eat there frequently, always getting a 'little' burger each (one patty vs two patties for the 'regular' burger) and one regular order of fries. We were driving in the area to a doctor's appointment, and we needed place to eat for lunch. We saw Five Guys and since we never had it before we wanted to try it. The service here was not that good we had to wait to place our order and no one was in line. We got our order and had it for to go. So we headed to our appointment. My wife looks in the bag they had dump the French fries right into the bag on top of our burgers so the wrappers were a greasy mess. We did not have enough napkins to wipe the grease off. The client took me here for lunch today. I'm not a frequent hamburger eater but this was really good. The atmosphere reminded me a lot of In & Out burgers out West. Lot's of white and red (maybe even some yellow... I don't recall!). Anyway, the burgers are huge and fresh grilled. They claim nothing is ever frozen and I believe them. The cajun fries are about the only thing worth going for. The burgers are tasteless and dripping with grease. A good greasy burger with flavor is wonderful...but the two or threes times I've been here they've just been a sloppy grease patty posing as meat.
