Plain wings, delicious. We got different sauces in the side to try. Great crisp!

We love eating here. Burgers are thick and good. Spin dip with pita bread is something special. It's not like the Applebees kind either. Wings are crispy and delicious. Tried something new this last time. Got the liver and onions. It was good. Could have used some beef gravy over top and with the mashed potato's. Pizza and fish are both good as well when we've gotten it!

    Wings were phenomenal

We were passing through and looked for a good local spot. Man we hit the jackpot. The food and service was spot on! And when they say they have award winning wings, it's true! Fat and juicy and sauces are good! And we do keto so when I got my chicken with added Swiss and bacon, I got the green beans as the side which sounds boring. Omg. They were seasoned and the best damn green beans I ever ate! We sat at the outside bar and it was a nice time. If I'm in the area again , I'll be back!

Nicks Restaurant 1443 N. Detroit St, Xenia, OH * (937) 372-3202 * www.gotonicks.com BaldWhiteGuyReviews - https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1KiZ9RjZ85/?mibextid=wwXIfr Stopped in for lunch and left with a full stomach, a suspiciously empty marinara cup, and a renewed respect for places that refuse to apologize for their menu choices. The short version Veteran-owned, family-run since 1949. Patio with weekly entertainment. Massive burger options. Zero privacy. Bring an appetite and a dramatic monologue if you want people to listen. #BeaverMoon #NoPrivacy The food (and my questionable life choices) Cheese Cubs: 12 little golden mozzarella missiles. Crispy, glorious, and sorrowfully under-sauced. Nick's, your marinara game needs to be more generous -- we're trying to dunk, not meditate #WeLikeLotsOfSauce - I guess we could have asked for more, but I didn't want to be a glutton. #fatkidproblems Hickory Nick burger: I ordered it well-done because I'm not a risk-taker. While a tapeworm is a good weightloss program, i'm not interested! It arrived the size of a small moon and tasted like someone whispered barbecue secrets into a cow's ear. Hickory bacon, fried onion straws, American cheese, and Nick's Awesome BBQ Sauce with a spare bottle parked like it paid rent at the table. Messy, joyful, zero regrets. #TapeWorm #GetsLotsOfNapkins Fries: crispy, a little salty, perfect for scooping up remorse and extra Nicks BBQ sauce. The menu (a choose-your-own-adventure). Pretty Extensive #lotsofoptions Filet Mignon, Frog Legs, Liver and Onions, and The Sexy Club all living on the same page like this is normal. Sauces have names like "Fire in ya hole" and "Sweet Hot Damn" -- either a culinary threat level or a very honest marketing team. Whatever you pick, it'll be dramatic. The vibe & patio life Feels like a favorite uncle's living room who also happens to run a restaurant. Warm, loud, and full of TVs for sports fans who like to offer unsolicited referee critiques. The patio has weekly entertainment -- think friendly chaos, a beer in hand, and the kind of music where everyone pretends they remember the lyrics. Perfect for a summer night. The bar & crowd Big draft selection, bartenders who know your drink before you do, and regulars who will rate your life choices over a pint. The space is cozy -- translation: if you whisper something juicy, the whole place will lean in. Privacy is not on the menu! #Eavesdropper #NoPrivacy #KindaSmall The only gripe It's compact. We were lucky to beat the lunch crowd. When full, it's like dining in a cheerful sardine can. One star off for proximity; the food earns the rest. Final score 4 out of 5 Bald Heads ‍‍‍‍ -- Veteran-owned since 1949, family-run, loud, proud, and delicious. Go for the burger, stay for the patio music, and bring extra marinara just in case. I'll be back because my stomach has no self-control. #deliciousfood @topfans #BaldWhiteGuyReview #NickApproved #XeniaEats #HickoryNick #CheeseCubs #EatLocal #FourBaldHeads

Nicks has been well known for years. Came in mid day on a weekend, it was already busy. We got seated 'outside', which was like a big tent. Was hoping for actual sky, etc. It was super loud with football blaring and everyone shouting to talk. Got the NY strip, mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans were the best part of the meal. They were very good. The steak was just meh . After a few delicious steaks at Nicks over the years, I was disappointed.

The patio is a really nice spot. Live music was fab too.

Our first visit here. It's in the neighborhood now too. Really kitchy place! Got a nice comfy vibe too. We sat on the patio. There was really great music too. Service was solid and we were well attended to the whole visit. The food was good and arrived timely and hot. My chick got the veggie quesadilla and I got the house club. Nope, we weren't disappointed at all. The quesadilla was chock full of fresh veggies and was nice crisped without being so overdone (you know what I mean). The club was a very nice surprise with a warm toasted pretzel bun and fresh veggies and proteins! We sampled some of Nicks custom cocktails and loved them too. Overall a really solid first impression! We see why the place is usually packed! We'll be back to sample more since we're close by now.

Definitely make sure to check out Nick's if you are in the area. The building is easy to find and from the outside looks like a decent size with plenty of parking, single bathroom stall. The parking lot looked full but we were seated as soon as we walked in (party of 2) the section we were seated in the tables where very close together and the other table had to get up and move from there seat for us to sit and get back up. This is one reason for the 4 star vs 5. The waitress was very nice but we did have to wait for our drinks for awhile when seated (water and a diet coke) The prices are great and the serving sizes are huge. Here is what we ordered, thoughts, and prices Appetizer Spinach dip $10.99- you can pick rather pitas or tortilla chips we tried the pitas with the dips and they were very good. Warm, nicely seasoned, a bit crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The dip was just ok I would not recommend the dip unless you are a huge cream cheese fan. They did season the dip very well but the cream cheese did overpower the dip and the other flavors Dinner Big Nick $13.49- this was definitely one of the best burgers we have had. the burgers are huge and you have to make sure you open wide to get this burger in your mouth and its definitely messy. But worth it. over half pound, hand-spanked Angus burger with tomato, onion, lettuce, and mayo. We did pay extra to get fries vs the chips and the fries where very good (bonus tip order a side of ranch woth your fries homemade and really good) House made chicken tenderloins meal $12.99 I wasn't a fan of the breading or maybe they were in the deep frier to long I am not sure, but the breading reminded me of a crushed up pretzel texture. This could have been my fault though I did order my sauces on the side. Honey mustard which has really good and then spicy garlic which had an over powering vinegar taste. The BBQ was really good. I did have the chips which were cooked perfectly along with a creamy coleslaw. Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely go back and try again and hopefully revise my rating from a 4 to a 5.

A friend told me about this small bar with a great patio and good food so we checked it out twice in one week. First we went for lunch and I got the breaded chicken tenders with their house chips....so good! My husband got the buffalo wings and he loved them! We sat at the bar which is small, but it's a really old bar with a lot of character. They have several different beers on tap and a full bar. The next time we went for dinner and I got the pan-fried walleye over rice pilaf. The walleye was hot and huge and the meal came with two sides as well. Very good amount of food for the price. Nick's is a hidden gem!

But when you're approaching the half-century mark, life starts revolving around exciting things like **annual physicals, cholesterol numbers, and oil changes**. Yesterday we had a check-up appointment in Jamestown and I thought, "You know what pairs nicely with preventative healthcare? A massive lunch." So off we went. Before arriving, I checked out their website and immediately had a problem... **I wanted to order everything.** This menu is **extensive**. We're talking the kind of menu where you start reading and eventually forget why you opened it in the first place. Starters Just casually starting the meal with a **munitions depot** apparently: * Homemade Chips & Salsa * Loaded Tator Bombs * Cheese Bombs * Garlic Dough Bombs *(seriously... enough bombs... choose love over violence )* * Bavarian Pretzel Sticks * Hot Honey Fries * Buffalo Chicken Dip * "The Bomb" Sampler... again with the bombs * Pizza Pretzels Quesadillas * Chicken & Cheese * Chicken Parm * Chicken Bacon Ranch * **Philly Dilla** (Yes. Immediately yes.) Handhelds * Italian Stallion * Buffalo Chicken Wrap * Shrimp or Fried Grouper Tacos * Chicken Caesar Wrap * Nashville Hot Sandwich * Club Wrap * **The RBF** - Roast Beef with melted provolone, giardiniera *(still not 100% sure what that is)* and parmesan on a hoagie roll Burgers Now we're talking. * Basic B - 1/3 lb Angus beef, mayo, cheese * Jasper Burger - pepper jack, bacon, jalapeño, Carolina gold sauce, "the garden" * Bacon Be Jammin Burger - bacon jam AND four strips of bacon * Big Daddy Burger - two 1/3 lb patties with bourbon sauce * Patty Melt - Texas toast, grilled onions, American & Swiss And the best part... **Every sandwich comes with fries or tots at no extra charge.** You know... **the way God and Ronald Reagan intended.** Brick Oven Fired Pizza 14" pies with garlic butter crust dusted with parmesan. This menu reads like a **2000s hip-hop playlist**. * Cheese-us Walks * H to the Ezzo *(Columbus-made Ezzo Pepperoni)* * 2 Legit to Quit * Coming Back to Philly * Baby I Got Your Honey with Mike's Hot Honey * Let's Talk Supreme, Baby * Drop It Like It's Hot * California Love *(for those that squat to pee)* * I Like It When You Call Me Big BBQ * **Nothin' But a Meat Thang** - loaded with all the meats... I'll leave the joke right there before Facebook suspends me * Hungry Like a Wolf Salads For those who hate flavor. * House * Caesar * Crisp Greens * Cobb * Buffalo * Italian Let's be honest. A salad is a salad. It's green. It's crunchy. It's what people order when they're pretending to be responsible. Chicken add on's - Grilled.......or Fried! Nothing screams **"healthy life choices"** quite like ordering a salad topped with **fried chicken**. The menu also notes the **ranch is house made**. Yes. Please. Immediately. Soup of the Day Every time I see "Soup du Jour" I immediately hear the **Dumb and Dumber** line... *"That's the soup of the day."* *"Mmm... that sounds good. I'll have that."* #IknowEveryLine Chicken Options * Boneless Wings * Bone-In Wings * Chicken Tenders Sauces include: Garlic Parmesan, BBQ Honey, Buffalo, Teriyaki, Mango Habanero, Jamaican Jerk, Nashville Hot, Bourbon, Spicy Garlic, Sweet Buffalo and Dry Rub. Basically **flavor for every personality disorder**. The Journey There We plugged the address into Waze and headed out for what turned into a pleasant country drive. Eventually Waze directed us to a sign for Jasper Hills Golf Club, not a member, followed by a left turn into what can only be described as an "upper middle class neighborhood." How do I know? Big Houses, One with a matching swing set. That's big money territory. #BigMoney At the end of the road sits a building that honestly looks a bit like someone's house with a large parking lot. Now sometimes I'm not the brightest bulb in the chandelier... but luckily we were in the right place. Don't be shy - head in. Inside The interior was bright, open, and inviting with plenty of seating. Eventually the dining room filled up with guests. Our server - Hannah greeted us quickly, took our drink orders, and was fantastic the entire time. Also worth mentioning: **Restrooms were clean and spacious**. They did a marvelous job on my pizza, the delivery was quick and my pizza was hot and loaded with toppings! It brought me back as to why I like Donatos so much, my grandpa even loved it. But despite how well they did I do have some gripes about my order, the boneless chicken wings were way too small, too small to warrant having them in a sizeable box they came in. 2. My adult daughter declared it was the best pizza she'd had in a couple of decades. And she's a picky eater. We all enjoyed the pizza. A especially nice touch is that they have a bulletin board where people have pre-paid for meals for people who can't afford to eat. If you are in that situation, you walk in, choose a receipt, and take it to the counter to get your free meal. It obviously hadn't been abused, as there were at least a dozen pre-paid receipts there. We really liked that community service aspect. But the only reason I'm writing this review (after the fact; sorry I didn't get photos) is that the pizza was great and the cost was also great.
