Thursday afternoon lunch with a craving for pizza. Had the cesar, roasted cauliflower, the dayton (pepperoni) and angry beekeeper. The cesar was solid and the roasted cauliflower was really good. The char on the cauliflower was nice it could have used a little more heat. The pizzas were good. The crust definitely could have been a little more crisp. The flavors were good and the pizza was not greasy. The only feedback is that I have honey hints on pizza before and they work best with some spice, there was no spice and that made the pizza a little too sweet.

A fine spot for a group get-together, definitely something for just about everyone here!! Check out their menu ahead of time, then line up and place your order at the counter. It appears what I ordered, a veg. pep rally pizza and Mediterranean salad are no longer on the menu, but they were both GOOD, and hope they'll make a reappearance on the rotating menu. Lots of fresh choices for meat lovers and veggies alike. Some tasty cocktail choices as well, worth trying them out as you wait for your yummy, freshly made pizza!! **Also worth noting that they were SUPER nice about letting me wait inside for AAA on a cold, snowy night, even as they were getting ready to close down, when I went to leave and discovered that my car's battery was DEAD, DEAD, DEAD!!!

This could be my absolute new favorite place for pizza. Man oh man...such a great pie. Toppings are appropriate. Crust is 10 out of 10 with its flavor and flex. You walk up to the counter and place your food order. Also, GF praise...Their GF crust is legit and my daughter absolutely LOVES it! Again, 10 out of 10. Good amount of pizza options. They offer sandwiches. Their salads are great. We had their house salad last time and it was awesome. We haven't ventured into their appetizers yet but I am told their baked cauliflower thing is well worth it. The drink options are awesome. Their ciders are great. I ordered an old fashioned (a speciality of theirs and it was fantastic). The place is chill. Lots of seating. High tops and longer tables and seats with windows looking into where they make the magic happen. I would definitely add this to your list of places to try. Super good. A bit pricey but quality backs it up. You will not be disappointed. Check them out...we are planning on going back...soon AND often

We've been to the other Old Scratch locations, but never this one. We love it because they have a variety of items for everyone. Service is always great. Everyone working is kind and helpful if you need it. I love the laid back, open feel of Old Scratch. I will say my pizza today didn't feel as it was made with as much love as it normally is, but it was still delicious.

We stopped in before a play for a quick dinner. Same night as a UD basketball game. Place was super busy but the manager was cleaning tables and we were directed to a clean table without delay. The pizzas were great as expected and I had one of the best old fashions I have ever had in a pizza joint.

Corinne and coworker greeted us on our first stop. She was just the right amount of friendly

We were taking our grandchildren to Owen's play place and were looking for a place to eat nearby. This was .2 miles away and was a wonderfully clean place for us to eat lunch. The kids pizza was delicious and we enjoyed our thin crust pepperoni pizza. We enjoyed the side salad that we could share... Three sizes make sharing simple. The restaurant was clean everywhere including the bathroom, even the baby changing table. They also had high chairs and small steps for our toddler to reach the sink. The service was friendly and efficient. Team.lead by manager, Joe seemed to enjoy their jobs. Peter was tossing pizza dough and Corinne welcomed us as we entered. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!

8.2 out of 10.0 Excellent pizza! Brick oven flavor adds SO much to this pie. Crust is very good. Sauce is just right. Cheese is very good. No flop but a cracked fold. Dough is a little too thin but still very good. So yeah, a solid 8.2! My Scoring System: * Always a large cheese or margarita pizza * Always made to order * Always eaten at the establishment * Always eaten while fresh and hot 9.0 or higher = Travel out of state or 4+ hours for the pizza. This is World-Class Pizza! 8.0 or higher = Travel 1 to 3 hours for the pizza. This is Local Legend Pizza 7.0 or higher = Local pizza that is a go-to. Very good pizza. 6.0 or higher = If you're already there then you go for it. It's not a bad pie but you're not going out of your way for it. 5.9 or less = Worsening levels of MEH. Gas station heat lamp to school lunch lady pizza. You'll feel the dead weight in you. Hard pass (pun intended). Atmosphere and service adds/drops up to .5 points: Add 0.0 for polite service Add 0.1 for good service Add 0.2 for great service Add 0.3 for phenomenal service Add 0.4 for legendary service Add 0.5 for epic service that can only be done here Subtract 0.1 to 0.5 for meh, distracted, bad, awful, and find another job, respectively.

Visiting family in the area and decided to check out Old Scratch Pizza. We were greeted with a smile and enthusiastic hospitality. Ordered the lunch special and ordered three pizzas (Elliot, Dayton & Angry Beekeeper). The pizzas arrived at the table in a few minutes after. Everyone enjoyed their 9 inch pizzas. They were delicious! The dough was soft, the tomato sauce was spiced perfectly and the mozzarella had crazy pull! The pepperoni was crispy and full of flavor on the Dayton. The restaurant has plenty of space to accommodate a large group of guests. Place was very clean. They also have a bar and soft serve ice cream for the kiddos for dessert! Overall we had a very nice experience at this restaurant! Will definitely visit when we are in town again! Highly recommend!

Second time here love the pizza still enjoy the other location better. Food/Drink: fire, roasted, thin crust, artisan type pizza. Pizza: delicious, and a perfect crust crunch. Dinning Area: Pretty large, open, area. Benches, large counter, double closed off entry way so mo breeze. Plenty of seating! Prices: Alittle expensive but worth it. Parking: Private and plenty of space. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and regular size. Atmosphere: During the weekday lunch rush, it was a huge snow storm so this would be unfair. It was empty. Staff/Attendants: Staff overall was young, and unsociable. Not like the children of my generation. Relatively attentive but otherwise boredom stricken. Decent experience... 7/10

Love Old Scratch and I am excited they have come to Beavercreek! Especially since it is way closer to me than the Dayton or Centerville locations. It is operated like the other locations and has the same great atmosphere. Friendly staff willing to explain how Old Scratch works for those who are new to this restaurant. We got several pizzas including the prosciutto arugula and Angry Beekeeper. Both are go to favorites! Everything was as delicious as usual. Hint-get a ranch dip for your crust! Totally worth the .50! Hint #2: you can add arugula to any pizza and if you haven't tried it-do it!!! Edited to add: my guys all said this was probably the best pizza we have had from Old Scratch and we go ALL THE TIME and love it! Great work Beavercreek Old Scratch!

It is a thin crust and I really wanted to like the pizza but it just didn't do anything for me. Restaurant is dated but functional. They are geared to handle big groups so, that is good if you have a group. We also got their Philly Cheesesteak sub and again...just mid. It was a big sandwich for only $9.00 BUT it was like a cheesesteak patty, not broken up like a normal cheesesteak. You had to order your food at one area and then pay for your drinks at another. Girl at the counter was relatively helpful when we ordered but when I needed to ask for silverware the two I asked just somewhat grunted at me that they were "over there" and I had to ask someone else. So, a lot of staff just not engaged staff. So, I can say I tried Marion's but I will most likely not try it again unless someone else is paying and has a strong argument why I should try it again.

Unless you're a regular and know exactly what you want, you'd better get a menu, because once it's your turn, you've got a split millisecond to place your order and move aside for the next hungry patron. Service is good/efficient, and you take a step back to wait for your pizza, or attempt to find a table in the HUGE dining area that's AWASH in a SEA of people who seem to appreciate this place a lot more than I did... Go wait on a second line to get your drink and then HOPE you hear you number called for your order. I did NOT hear my number, even though I was standing practically in front of the counter... NOT directly in front, as the harried, overworked cashier (manager?) who begged us not to stand in the most obvious (only available) waiting area. My 9" cheese pizza and "deluxe" dinner salad (no extra veggies that I could see under the MOUND of cheeeese) were "fine," but truly nothing "special." Yep, I'm a NY pizza snob, but I'm willing to try almost anything once, and while the TON of people working here get an A for effort, the HUGE crowd STUFFED into the large, airless dining hall, so-so food and assembly line production are not something I see myself rushing back to experience again. I'm glad the group that I came with gave me the opportunity to see what I'm NOT really missing....

My adult daughter declared it was the best pizza she'd had in a couple of decades. And she's a picky eater. We all enjoyed the pizza. A especially nice touch is that they have a bulletin board where people have pre-paid for meals for people who can't afford to eat. If you are in that situation, you walk in, choose a receipt, and take it to the counter to get your free meal. It obviously hadn't been abused, as there were at least a dozen pre-paid receipts there. We really liked that community service aspect. But the only reason I'm writing this review (after the fact; sorry I didn't get photos) is that the pizza was great and the cost was also great. I was pleased that this new and unique restaurant was so popular. We sat at the bar and after 15 minutes flagged down one of the two people tending bar for a menu. After almost 20 minutes after closing our menus, I again flagged down a server to take our order. My son had two exotic looking drinks that he found delicious. Our pizzas were very good, although be careful about the toppings as they can really run up the cost. We saw amazing Korean corn dogs and noodle dishes coming out of the kitchen, so we well be sure to try them next time. I highly recommend examining your check carefully. First of all, cheese for your pizza is $1 extra, shredded chicken is $3 extra. My son's two drinks were $23. I didn't notice the "Large Party" fee of $10.83 until I had already paid the bill. How 2 people constitute a "Large Party" is beyond me. And to add insult to injury, checking out on their app, I was asked to tip, and I did! Mind you, the service was deplorable. We didn't receive silverware or napkins. I had two tissues in my pocket so we used those as napkins.
