First off, the pizza was great and the price is fine. The next part of the review is specifically for the buffet experience on Wednesday nights. If you are running a pizza buffet, imo, you should always have at least one each of cheese and pepperoni pizzas in the queue coming out of the oven at all times. I would definitely eat here again. I would probably skip the buffet only because it's a little painful. Then again I'm basically reviewing this one visit I had and maybe it's not normally like that. Without a doubt, the best pizza restaurant I've ever visited, and now it's my favorite. I ordered the 8" pizza for pickup. Ordering online was easy and they keep you updated through text messaging. The interior is very nice, and the staff was amazing. When you pick up your order, they open the box so that the customer can approve that the order is what they were expecting. I am so used to pizza toppings being not only scarce, but arranged as if they were shot out of a cannon. As you can see from the picture, not only were the toppings generous, but they were arranged as if it were for a glamor shot on a cooking show. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The crust was tasty with just the right consistency. The sauce and cheese were perfectly proportioned, as were the toppings. We ate at the new location a couple nights ago. Unless you build your own pizza, your choice is pretty much ordering a specialty pizza. That's not necessarily a bad thing unless you want to share a pizza with your spouse. Then you're back to building your own or ordering two small specialty pizzas. Now, the good part. The pizzas are delicious. I come from NY and Pizza Dive's NY style pizza is pretty darn good. Their servers are friendly college age kids. It's the new location that Pizza Dive did it right. It's open, well lit, modern, with plenty of seating. I certainly wish them and hope to visit them often. Just remember, it's NY pizza done fight. We wanted to try something new and came across Pizza Dive. So glad we did it was pretty tasty. There was a great selection of items. We went for create your own so we could pick and choose how we'd like it made. The first thing I noticed was that the crust was just right. For those who like a decent crust, not to thin, but not thick. The texture was good and not to dry, soft , and not scratchy. They also have a sweet garlic oil that taste great on the crust! Must try. The slices are decent sized and pretty filling for me, guess that depends on each person. The cheese was tasty and melted perfectly on the pizza. We enjoyed the sauce and found it was a good balance of sweet and salty. We will definitely be returning customers and look forward to trying more items on their menu. read more

I highly recommend this restaurant. Awhile back, we had a farewell going away gathering for a fellow coworker in our office, and the pizza was amazing. Recently, I ordered delivery from this same establishment, and the quality is still there. I ordered a medium 12" build your own pizza. The first half had pepperoni. The second half had ground beef. Both halves had black olives and bacon. The pizza was very good. I would describe it as somewhere between thin crust and Brooklyn-style. It's not over-saturated in grease like some places. The crust is good as well. The pepperoni is those little pepperonis. I believe some call them pepperoni cups. It was absolutely delicious and I would go again. Delivery was prompt and professional. I looked around on some other sites, including the national chains and for the quality and ample toppings, I consider this a great value. Watching nieces kids(four of them) they wanted pizza... evenly divided amongst cheese only and pepperoni and one of them stated they usually have pizza- from a corporate Goliath so obviously these kids need to spend more time with 'Uncle Dean' but I'm not much of a pizza guy so I use Yelp of course to find local places around nieces home. All the big chains close but luckily the 'Pizza Dive' location that's a small mom and pop place is like four miles away. So online order simple enough. Easy to navigate the ordering system and the cheese pizza was easy enough, the pepperoni makes me choose 1st half(then pepperoni) then 2nd half(again select pepperoni). Didn't take note of a 'Whole pizza' option by I digress. Arrive at store, there is pickup parking spots(5min limit). I wander in and it seems like I've walked in to my high school days when pizza joints were very similar to how this eatery is decorated. All the folks were super friendly and seemed like they genuinely like helping patrons out. Easy to talk to. One if them wanders over and grabs my pizza, takes me to a table, opens the boxes one by one and shows me the pizza. Looks me in the eyes after reviewing the pizzas and asks, "do these look okay to you?" Which never happens at the corporate stores that I've been to. Nice to feel like my opinion matters. Got the pizzas to house where every one of the kids(&adults) loved the pizza. Kids ate with no negative fallout so that's a win! My lovely wife stated the pepperoni was a little spicy for her but I didn't think so but I do enjoy all things spicy! Will I go back? Yep! Jasmine is the best, but she does talk fast, so you have to slow here down sometimes. We talked about adding gyro meat to the Greek, she wants it to be called "The Greek Jasmine way". Richelle ordered a pepperoni, mushrooms, banana pepper. We tried some bread bites while we waited on our order, the dough is fantastic, light and fluffy on the inside perfectly cooked for a little crunch on the outside. I like to visit a place at least two times before I write a review, and as far as reviews are concerned, a place has to stand out to me in the ways that count. My personal feeling for this is that there's so much going on in life that time is of a premium and I don't like wasting anyone's time with frivolous stuff. So when I write a review, it's because for one reason or another, the business stood out (sometimes that's not for a good thing). Because of that, you know this place, the Beavercreek Pizza Dive stood out to me. Let's go back in time a bit. Like a number of years. This is necessary because I have a personal experience with pizza to which I hold all pizza places. The absolute best pizza I have ever had was when I was on temporary duty to Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily. When I found out I was going there, to the home of Sicilian pizza as far as I was concerned, I was so excited! It's like going to Germany and finally being able to taste a proper bratwurst. Happily, I was not disappointed. After that time, I have been on the lookout for good Sicilian-style pizza (or as close as possible). Dayton does have a good roster of good pizza places, there's no doubt about that. But I haven't seen any come close to the style pizza I had in Sicily. I'm talking "old the slice over or else you're going to wear it" Sicilian pizza. Beavercreek Pizza dive is the only one to get as close to that experience. The dough is obviously fresh. True pizza connoisseurs know what I'm talking about. Freeze the dough and it changes everything. Their sauce is delicious, and I suspect also house made (I didn't ask, I was in a bit of a hurry). Their menu is a wonderful list of named combinations as well as a build your own. They have all over the good toppings (though I would have loved to have seen blue cheese as well as crushed pistachios, but I know that pistachios are nuts and who knows who out there has a nut allergy, so it's not a ding against them...but if you haven't had that on a pizza, you're missing out). The interior is bright and welcoming. It also smells exactly like what's cooking. Not in the stale, old smell of pizza but that yum freshly baked smell. And it permeates. I had a 12 inch with extra sauce, mushrooms, banana peppers, pepperoni and pineapple (Don't judge! Try it. It's great on pizza!) my son had the same size, but with extra pepperoni. And when they put extra pepperoni on the pizza, they do it. To the point you can't see the cheese underneath. They also include complimentary baked Parmesan dusted pizza dough balls. Sooooo good. Service was solid. Judith greeted me and took my order. She was exceptionally pleasant and patient. Both qualities I look for when I evaluate a restaurant, especially these days when things are more expensive and more people are competing for the contents of a shrinking wallet. She made the whole process easy and smooth. The pizzas were piping hot and honestly, maybe it was me not understanding the size pizza I ordered or maybe it's that other places tend to short customers an inch or two, but my two 12 inch pizzas seemed way bigger in front of me than the drawings looked on the wall. No complaints tho!! Just more pizza for later! I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want good pizza, Beavercreek Pizza Dive is a standout amongst the group of good pizza places in Dayton and deserves a few visits from any pizza snob out there. read more

We built our own 16" (X-Large) pizza with pineapple, fresh mushrooms, cheddar cheese, white onions, and spicy sausage. It was delicious, but a bit on the greasy side. We ordered 2 medium pies one just cheese and one woth red onions. 2 Bambino's one ham and the other pep/ham and 4 of their pretzels. The staff were friendly, helpful and promptly offered a military discount without me asking when they saw my ID. The pretzels- were really good, salted well. Good sized as well. The only downfall was the cheese dip they use isnt the best. An excellent beer cheese with these would make them perfect. The pizzas- All were hot fresh and tasty but they all suffered the same problem on the crust. While it was tasty, airy and flavorful. It didnt seem cooked evenly. The crust on the edge was gret and had the snap but from the point working back it was cooked but soft and chewy as if the pans they use might be too thick to evenly cook the pie? So it drooped when you tried to the NYC fold if that makes sense? The cheese was decent not sharp or anything very average but a good blend. The sauce was the highlight- no chunks but had a good robust flavor without being overpowering. Kids tore through theirs and wife enjoyed hers noting the red onions tasted fresh. The pepperoni on my sons (stole one for the dad tax of course) was good and did that perfect roll up on the edges without being too spicy for yout avg customer. We went tonight to Beavercreek Pizza Dive after volunteering at Feed the Creek right next door. We had the Pepperoni Pizza - it was buy 1, get a cheese pizza free! Yum! Our service was great - Ally was very kind and personable! She has been working there for 12 years! They were able to accommodate our Kiwanis Group of 7 without any issues. They only deliver via Doordash which you won't know by ordering via BCPD site. It was impossible to order a pizza 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage. The website was confusing and difficult to navigate. When I called the restaurant there was nothing they could do to help me. I paid $50 for two large pizzas for which I had to drive over to pick up and to be treated with customer no service. We had a plain pizza this visit and it was a solid five stars. Prices are very reasonable. This restaurant is still takeout only.
