We just tried this pizza place for the first time last week and have already been back again! This crust reminds me of how I remember more pizza being made when I was a kid... one bite brought back instant nostalgia. We've had the chicken, breadsticks, dessert breadsticks, and several pizzas so far and it has all been delicious! That chicken is seriously good. We always carry out and service is friendly and quick. No doubt if this place was closer to us, we'd have to resist the temptation of having it every week! read more

broaster chicken used to be SO GOOD. NOW the chicken pieces are extremely small. (and of course you pay more) ... give em less and charge em more. Also, they don't seem to realize that if you cook much smaller pieces you must reduce the cook time on your broaster .. Mine was extremely overcooked. This was the LAST item I would order from them. All the others were a huge disappointment. read more

Their boasted chicken is juicy and flavorful...I always forget about this place but it's perfect for a night you want home cooked food but don't wanna do it yourself. Skip the pizza because the chicken is the star. read more

This place has gone down hill in five to ten years. Used to be the best fried chicken in Dayton and decent pizza. Got both of those today to go and wanted to take them back. read more

Wanted pizza on Labor Day and decided to try here. Order was ready in 15 minutes and it's like a five minute drive, so that was great. Had a large sausage and black olive. The sausage was tiny little pieces which is different. Cheese was very good as well as the crust. Want to try the chicken next time! read more

Centerville Pizza Great to have a local business that offers gyros. Centerville Pizza & Bbq is located at 9470 Dayton Lebanon Pike (just north of Sheehan Road.) Centerville Pizza & Bbq is a locally owned business, and the owner Benny is very agreeable. Nice selection of pizza crusts and specialty pizzas; we recommend the Extra Large Meat Eaters' at $23.00. Centerville Pizza & Bbq offers wings, calzones, subs, gyros, chicken, and a nice selection of BBQ. Note Centerville Pizza & Bbq is open on Sunday. We are more inclined or order carry out, and we recommend both the pizza and the gyros. Great to have a local business that offers gyros. We do support our local businesses. read more

I ordered the 16 piece chicken only , The chicken wasn't seasoned it didn't have any taste at all it was greasy I won't be ordering from them ever again read more

First off, the spaghetti and meatballs were terrible. There were maybe 2 tablespoons of sauce hiding beneath the spaghetti. I had to add my own sauce. They didn't give us what we ordered. Then they charged us for their mistake. On top of that, they charge us for items we didn't order and didn't get. I was expecting a bill for $52 and was charged $70. My son placed the order and spoke with the manager who was going to call me back and issue a refund. Then they "researched" and discovered they gave us "large pizzas," which, being our first time here, didn't look large. One pizza was mushy, the other okay. Terrible customer service. The staff who came out from the back and involved themselves in the discussion that was being handled by someone else only ignited the situation to make it terrible for everyone involved. 10 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. I can't even fathom how they stay in business with a tiny parking lot, ugly, outdated signs, and hideous interior. read more

Great service. Pizza is good but better with the smiling staff and owners. Wish they were open 7 days a week

We found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out. We got the special pizza (a chicken something) and wings. There isn't a lot of places to eat, so prepare to take everything home. The pizza was really good. Perfectly cooked on the bottom and the crust was actually good, unlike the normal chains. The wings were good as well. My boyfriend loved the garlic buttercheese wings. He thought they smelled and tasted like buttered popcorn. The kids liked the BBQ wings. We are looking forward to trying the fried chicken based on the other reviews. Will update my rating when we do that. Otherwise, pizza is worth a try. read more

Centerville Pizza & Bbq - The special that night. Chicken and pepperoni with BBQ sauce. Very good. - Pizza Near Me - Dayton, Ohio

We just moved to Yankee Trace and wanted to order take-out, so we called Centerville Pizza & BBQ. We had their pepperoni pizza and cinnamon bread delivered piping hot and fast! It was phenomenal... Mike is now my new favorite delivery guy as well. We'll definitely be ordering from here again! read more

Super good! I love that it's the closest and it's good quality. We've had both the chicken and pizza, both were delicious. This is my regular go to place. read more

Very good pizza and wings. Staff is friendly and actually cares about their customers

It's sad that I'm about to leave a negative review here. Typically this place offers the best pizza. But not tonight. My pizza (large sausage, onion, cheese) was heavy in tomato sauce and had just the right amount of onions but either forgot to include the sausage or it was so little that is was hidden by the over abundance of sauce. Cheese seemed light as well. Considering these are typically $20+ pizzas I would expect that it be made correctly and include the proper toppings as ordered. I'll have to give strong consideration before I order from here again since there are many options to choose from out there. read more

Great local pizza. We love the "Troy's Kick'n Chick'n Bacon Ranch". The spicy ranch isn't that spicy but you can ask to get regular ranch instead (our kiddos love it this way). Get it and you won't regret it. We always get a side of bbq wings as well. read more

Great pizza. Had the Bronx Bomber and Dr Dre larger half-n-half. Bother we're winners.

Visited for carry out for the first time tonight. Got Broasted Chicken with their Potato Salad and Green Beans. Chicken was crunchy and moist. The sides were also very good. We'll be back to try the Pizza read more

Just ordered from here tonight and am really impressed! Ordered a large pepperoni, large bbq pizza, and some fried chicken. Pizzas were both really good. The bbq had a nice tangy sauce and the pork was great. The fried chicken was solid also. I had a side of potato salad which Ill probably get again. It was creamy with some bacon in it. Real good. Only downside was they forgot my cornbread. Lil dissapointed but I was still stuffed. We'll definitely add this to the dinner rotation. Delivery guy was nice also. read more

I just moved to the Centerville area. Was unpacking boxes and was starving. Looked up pizza places near me, and decided to try this one. I like to patronize local independent restaurants. It was 5 minutes away from me. The order person said give him 10 minutes! I was thinking, how could it only be 10 minutes. I hopped in my car and got there in 5. Of course the pizza wouldn't have been ready yet, but I want to be there when it comes out of the oven. It was ready pretty quick and off I went. The pizza was too hot to eat when I got home, which is great! It was delicious and very affordable compared to chain places. They won my business! read more

I had super high hopes for this place after reading reviews. We got a pizza and breadsticks and asked that one sauce be switched to garlic butter. Unfortunately, the sauce didn't get switched and the breadsticks didn't have any flavor. They were incredibly dry and just plain bad. The service was subpar as the kid ringing me out seemed new and he had limited support around him. I doubt we will order from here again. However, if you do order from there skip the breadsticks and save yourself $5.75!! read more

Order broasted chicken. It was amazing, whole family loved it. The cornbread was very good, we have ordered it alone before. We will definitely order here again! Buy local it is important!! read more

This place never disappoints! We love it! From the pizza to the subs to the chicken to the cheese bread you can't go wrong. The food is good and the service is good too. The staff is always friendly. read more

Zombie pizza was top notch and a delicious kind of different. Chicken was delisted and look forward to trying the wings.

Great wings! I also gotta say their rendition of the Hawaiian pizza is outstanding. The bacon is crisp and the pineapple is plentiful and juicy! The pasta snd meatballs is a hit as well. Oh, if you can choose a crust the garlic is way yummy! The cheese bread is ALL that too. BL never been disappointed with the food or the service! read more

We got the 12 piece broasted chicken. It was great fabulous braosted chicken, on the inside it was juicy and very flavorful. We can't wait to go back and try the pizza read more

Good pizza but staff lacks customer service skills. I came in about 10 minutes after my carryout order should have been ready. After verifying my order the guy went over to the rack and starred and opened pizza boxes for about 10 minutes and couldn't find the order. Finally after saying hey what's going on a young woman from behind the counter said we lost the order, we will get you order in the oven in a minute, and told me to wait over in the corner. At least an apology would have been nice but it seems like a place because they have plenty of business doesn't pay attention to customer service. read more

The Tuesday pork chop special is so good. 12 oz broaster-fried served with green beans and mashed potato's and gravy. The pork chop was juicy and the sides were very flavorful. read more

I can't believe I'm writing this because we really like this place. Last Saturday we ordered the Bennie's special. Pizza arrived on time, friendly driver. We opened the boxes and was like, " where are the toppings?" Both pizzas had pepperoni and both pizzas had two slices each that had not one pepperoni on them. The green peppers were sporadic as well. Guess we will wait till the Zombie pizza comes back on the menu to order from here again. read more

We really prefer mom and pop restaurants where ever we are so we can support their business. We've been wanting to try this place for a while. My boyfriend just tried to call and have a pizza delivered. We live in Kettering at Far Hills Road and Rahn. We were told it's too far and the woman hung up on him! The website was really hard to use. Not what we expected. Though, it appears we are not the only folks this woman has hung up on. read more

Awesome pizza and the baked Italian sub was great. Much better than a chain pizza place. Great pepperoni, the kind that curls up and gets a pool of oil melted in it with slightly burned edges. Just the way I like it. The place has a Small eat in area but this is really a take out place. Fast service. read more

I have tried this place multiple times. I am a fan. I have had their pizza, sandwiches, and broasted chicken. It's all good. The owner is very friendly and operates a great local business. Give them a shot. It's good. read more

Haven't been here in awhile. I became a big fan when they took over the old Hungry Howies and somehow managed to be able to keep some of the same menu items. The one I always ordered was the (what we called) Italian Calzone. Turns out it was what they just called a "sandwich". I would counter that by saying it's a baked gyro with sub/hoagie ingredients. Basically a folded thin pizza dough with Italian meat, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato, Italian dressing, and some kind of crumbly semi-soft cheese, feta perhaps, with parmesean and olive oil sprinkled on top. Goddamn it was good. Was underemployed at the time so my budget for takeout was $0, but i would still splurge once a week, every week for 6 months, for one of those. Considering how much i love take out, that is really saying something. I consider these guys an early inspiration... Since then i never avoid trying an unfamiliar place just because it's small, out of the way, or doesn't have a fancy sign like it's neighbor chain restaurants. read more

The pizza here is really good. The crust is always good and the sauce to cheese ratio is pretty good too. I can't speak for the bbq but would recommend this place is you are looking for an old fashioned pizza place. They are also very Covid safe which is a plus! read more

I've ordered delivery before on multiple occasions. Loved the food. Finally found local pizza that was good. Go to order today. I was told I'm out of their range. How is that? The owner wants to crack down on delivery areas. I'm sorry but I'm paying a premium price for your food. Along with taking care of the driver. The owner is a joke cuz he doesn't want his food to go a mile past his zone. If I gotta pay $8 for a small pizza plus $1.35 a topping. I'd expect delivery. Like I told your man on the phone. I found a mom and pop shop. Now you just told me f off read more

My family has lived less than two miles from Centerville Pizza & BBQ since early 2014 and I am hating myself now for waiting so long to try this place. Friday nights are pizza nights in our house and we've been on a quest to find a good quality pizza. Well...we need to look no further. I stopped in recently and picked up a couple of pizzas and was extremely happy with the taste and quality. This will be our go to pizza joint from now on and, based on other reviews, I look forward to trying some of the other menu items. Overall a great value in Centerville and an awesome opportunity to support a local business. read more

Great local pizza place at a good price. Lots of toppings, sturdy flavorful crust, and not greasy. Breadsticks were great as well. This will be our go to pizza shop in Centerville from now on. read more

Best Fried Chicken I've had in a very long time, the 10 piece dark legs and thighs for $10 is not only the best deal, it's delicious! Crispy skin and juicy chicken meat on every piece of chicken. I've been here twice now and both times were awesome! We ordered pizza the first time we came here and it was okay, but the chicken hits it out of the park. read more

Ordered the pizza. When the pizza was made all the toppings were concentrated in the middle than nothing towards the crust! Very odd very average pizza. Also ordered the steak hoagie. It was good, not great . Overall good food but would not come back unless it was convenient. May come back to try the chicken or barbecue, probably not the pizza again! read more
