Be prepared to wait. I could see the wait if it was busy or ordering the deep dish pizza. However this was not the case we ordered calamari as an appetizer which was very good cooked perfectly and not chewy with banana peppers and marinara. Small salad also it looks small coming out but packed with protein and very good the honey mustard dressing is light and refreshing and the Italian beef which was a great size and pretty good not exactly like a Chicago style but close the auju was really salty. Great parking, great size dining area, and plenty of restrooms with changing tables if needed for babies. Ate here for lunch with wife. I mostly chose this place because we were in Beavercreek and we were looking for thin crust pizza, even though they are mostly known for their deep dish pizza. We each had a small house salad and we shared what was supposed to be a thin crust supreme. They may call this "thin" crust, but it isn't. Hand tossed would be a closer description. And the prices for everything were a little high for what you got. Even a 23 oz beer was $10.25. But we left fairly satisfied. Service was friendly and attentive. read more

Not my favorite Giordano's location. The pizza came out warm, as opposed to steaming and burn your face off hot, which led to a weak cheese pull. I need the burn the face off hot in my life Pizza. That being said, the pizza is very flavorful. Also recommend getting a family style salad as you wait for your pizza, as you'll wait about 40 minutes for the deep dish to be ready. So not a big Chicago style pizza fan but I always like to try new things. Had the individual lunch special and it was really good. The waitress explained how different t the small and regular pies were and the longer wait time for larger pies. I love Giordanos in Chicago, so I was excited to see an Ohio location! I tried to order ahead online, but it kept booting me out, so I called the business number and they were really nice about just taking my order by phone! I got a deep dish of course, which requires significantly more time, but it was ready as promised. I arrived to pickup my order and it was easy to find the take out area. The restaurant itself is large and very nice with a decent bar and patio as well. Multiple staff members greeted me in my time there. I got a small build your own deep dish which was perfect. The crust was done right, the sauce was good, plenty of cheese and the veggies had a nice flavor and freshness. I also ordered a chopped salad. I LOVE Chi chopped salad as they include pasta in it, but id never had it from Gios. Their version was delicious and I could have straight been drinking the honey mustard dressing. Was in town for work and Giordano's was highly recommend to us. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of space to accommodate larger parties. We had 7 in ours with extra space for two more people. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered some apps and a deep dish pizza. The apps were amazing, but i wish i could say the same about the pizza. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the taste or freshness of ingredients used. All of that was perfect and the the pie came out hot and ready. The main complaint from the group was the amount of cheese that was used. And I know you are probably thinking " how is too much cheese an issue?" It's a bigger issue than you think. Each slice was literally cheese with some bread and toppings. It was far too much cheese. And beware even with our party of 7 a large pizza was too much! Some of the best deep dish you can find in Ohio! This place is very popular for family's and birthdays. Which is great if that is what you're looking for! But if you're looking for a relaxing place to eat, I wouldn't recommend it. The service is always very polite. My visit was probably about the 10th time I've visited this location. I had a bad experience here previously due to the service. And here we are again. I've been coming to this location since it opened. I'm not sure if you were short staffed on Saturday night or not. My boyfriend and I had been seated and were greeted by our waitress Logan. She seemed very nice and took our drink order. Came back probably five minutes later with those. Then she gave a few minutes to order. She came back and took our order. When we received our food it was not hot. It was barely warm. It had been sitting for sometime. After that, we were NOT checked on and finally about 40 minutes then she brought the check. However it was observed that she waited on other tables and so on between but never came to check on us or if we needed refills or anything. Regardless. It was a subpar experience at best. This is it. Right here. The one, the only. The best! Giordano's is the best. Now granted, if you are from Chicago then the best pizza that you know of is your neighborhood pizza place. That's just how it goes. However, Giordano's is a local chain. And there's usually one nearby. Chicago is obviously known for deep dish pizza. But, what most people don't realize, is that people from Chicago rarely eat the deep dish pizza. Chicagoans like thin crust pizza. Fact. The deep dish is good as a treat once in a while, but you're always going to get a thin crust. My personal favorite, and the only thing I ever order from Giordano's, thin crust sausage and green pepper. Nothing fancy. That's it. Perfection. Like I said, Giordano's does do a good stuffed deep dish. A very good stuffed deep dish. On the rare occasion that I do get it, I typically get sausage and spinach. Can't go wrong with that either. Would I go back? Yes. I always do. In fact a few locations have popped up in a few different cities around the country and I seek them out too. This one on the Dayton, OH area does not let down. Giordano's is one of two places that I need to hit every time I'm in Chicago. It'll never let you down. And no matter what location you go to, you're still getting the same high quality Pizza. I've wanted to stop here for pizza since they first announced that Giordano's was coming to Dayton. I've had this pizza pie in Chicago and it's awesome! In reading the reviews the most significant complaint was the wait time. Giordano's has tried to address this by letting you know when you get the menu that a deep dish will be at least 45 min. They also have a lunch special that pops out pizzas every 15 min, so that's what I had. I had the pepperoni 6 inch with tomato basil soup while my SO had the sausage 6 inch with a house salad. It arrived is about 15 min. Yea! The pepperoni was a very mild one and sliced very thin. It was barely discernible in the pie. The sausage had much more flavor and because of that it was a better tasting pizza. Tomato soup was creamy and yummy. Salad was a nice mix of greens, cheese and with a yummy house dressing - props for that! read more

Obviously this is a Chicago style pizza chain. we have been to Chicago several times and several similar where the tomato sauce is on top . we've never eaten there we usually go to Lou Malnati's. The reviews on Lous have always better and I know I like that. so end up going to Lou's in Chicago. Plus my fav pizza is thin and preferably crispy. With all that said and considered.. we really liked it. Service was very good. Our pizza was hot and tasty. With that much cheese i was expecting it to seem greasy and hurt my stomach. i like that the crust was super thick .. the cheese and toppings are what makes it so thick.No problems except it was more filling than our typical thin crust. I had high hopes for this new establishment in Beavercreek. I'm always looking for something new and unusual to eat. But, this is not your typical pizza joint. I was very disappointed. Like I've said before, maybe I'm just an old school pizza lover, but this backward or upside down pizza with large layers of clumpy mozzarella cheese- two layers- is not for me. As far as the appearance if the location, its located in a small strip store near Kohl's. The atmosphere is open, airy and very brick and mortar motif, very nice. This location has a very clean and tidy bar area and it has a room set to the side for larger parties with the ability to be closed off with a garage door for privacy. All in all, the interior is very beautiful. Also, if you read my other reviews, you know that bathroom cleanliness and hot water are important to me. I'm glad to report that this location offers both. So be assured your hiny will stay clean and hands will be able to be cleaned as required. After visiting our daughter and her family north of Chicago last year we wanted to try this Giordano's and compare it to what we had in Gurney, Ill. It was pretty much spot on unlike so called Chicago style pizza in our area. The pizza was thick, super cheesy and gooey just like we remember. The sauce and toppings were delicious. Just like in Gurney it took a while to get our pie but well worth the wait. Out server was very polite and promptly refilled our beverages. The place is very clean and as you walk in or out you can see the pizza chefs make your pies or other fares that they offer. This place is casual but also a little closer to dress casual. So this was my second time experiencing this place. First time was to-go...I figured because I didn't dine in that's why I wasn't pleased. So after almost a year I decided to try again recently. We dined in and ordered the mozzarella wedges, a flat bread pizza, and calamari. I'm not sure if they don't season the food but everything was bland. Our pizza was made wrong so the brought pepperoni to the table to place on top. I've never gone anywhere and left 90% of the food on the table. I've been to one in Chicago, and the one in Columbus and did not have these issues so I'm convinced it's the one here in beavercreek. I've heard about Giordano's from just going to Chicago it seemed to be a good pizza place to try since it was famous for their deep dish. Unfortunately I'm a little lactose intolerant so I opted for the thin crust instead! I liked the mozzarella triangles but my pizza was okay! My friends seemed to like the deep dish pizza but my thin crust pizza was just okay. However the restaurant was clean & had a nice atmosphere for hanging out with friends!
